The door to Shahraz will open when you kill Shade of Akama, so you can skip Gorefiend and Bloodboil if you're just there for glaives and don't care about the gold/mogs from them.
Is it doable on a Prot Pally for Tier? Somehow my T6, Faceplate, Bulwark and many more items are missing from my mog panel. But it kept some older items, such as Sul'Thraze, Gruul's shield, Tempest of Chaos, ect... and Blizz being Blizz i'll have to farm those again.
Did it today on 356 ilvl dk. I found in comments tricks with jeeves and it was super helpful for me for najentus. Just got 4 spines and reset boss. I wiped twice on council. Btw we can strangulate malande during shield. I wiped once on illidan too. so just dont need to break elems link on phase two😂
@@SubtleFW I tried it today, and i have put the spines in my bank (jeeves), reset the Boss, pulled again and the spines where still in my bank (i took them out infight)
@@SubtleFW Thats why jeeves really can help. Spines dont disappeared from bank. So you just loot 4-5 spines and put it to bank. And after just take them out after reset boss
@@SubtleFW Sweet! I'm trying this run on my DK ilvl 354 atm. I'm having problems with council but Its mainly me not reacting to reflect shield. On the first boss however, if you summon your ghoul early in the fight, you will end up being "spiked" twice. This will make it so that you cant click the spike within the "click window". In my testing anyways.
had some trouble with Naj and council but managed to do it with Elementium Dragonling and prismatic elixir got the illidan kill and he dropped MH glaive on the first kill lol thx for the vid
game is perfect... you can reset the first boss and sometimes keep your spines (sometimes not as well), I died to council at like 16% hp, came back and when I pulled them they dropped to 16% again xD
I tried the method on the first boss, when I used raise army threat the boss stayed on me and the agro boss kept sticking until the raise dead CD finished, what's the trick?
You have to be certain you aren't generating any threat from anything so they can easily rip. Make sure you don't have Rune of the Fallen Crusader on and the only thing you do should be DS when he's immune
@@rs7111 make sure they aren't enraging, seen a lot of people have that issue. They just need to be kept somewhat close to their glaive. Basically never take them out of the middle grate area. Other than that just pop some CDs and should be good
I am at 352 ilvl and council seems impossible for me. I also tried Gurtogg 4 times, and the debuff stacks too high, and I can't get him down. I have my gear set forged with 1200 haste, or should I forge them to parry/dodge? Any advice will be appreciated.
Make sure you stay on top of your defensive CD usage. They should be used as soon as you can benefit from them pretty much to get the CDs rolling. On council there's a lot of avoidable damage on the ground you should move out of if you're having issues surviving. I believe it's also still bugged and after a wipe their HP won't reset, so you can just keep pulling them until you kill them and they'll have lower HP each time
The main pain point im running into is Council. I'm not able to outheal the damage after army/ghoul wears off. The only time I got it is when I ran in with army/ghoul and their hp bugged to 5% at the start.
If you're not already doing it, I'd chain CDs the entire fight. Use 1 CD at a time but get everything on CD as quick as you can. That'll give you a lot more longevity. They do seem to be bugged and frequently start the fight at low hp though
I'm conflicted, the changes to paladins have me rethinking my entire gaming experience. On the one hand I'm a completionist trying to cap out a characters achievements but on the other hand prot paladin just feels like garbage now with how many changes they made. Death knights are so strong it seems like the obvious change but I've leveled a few DK's and they never get past 70, just not really my style with runes and energy....
Yah dk definitely isn't for everyone. The gap between bdk and the other tanks is the biggest it will ever be right now. If you really don't like bdk, I think it's fine to stick to prot pally and it'll start feeling a lot better soon once you get close to P1 BIS
@@SubtleFW Lol...they should work as a tmog just like they do in retail, people would be more interested to get them instead of just wasting inventory space for a show off with low level 3 expansions old gear...sadge
@@mrtruthsayer7872 I tried recently 2-3 days ago, I got them on my undead rogue still which is level 71 atm from tbc, and I can't tmog them not on that same rogue or my human rogue on another server...idk but i see on forums people complain about it
couldn't get more than 2 spines. still getting threat for deathstriking it seems. Resummoned ghoul cant take aggro before next bubble and expires, army just whacks boss and no effect. tried like 8 times with resetting and gave up and blood worms for some reason do not spawn when hitting into shield
@@SubtleFW was just experiencing this too, stoneskin garg rune. every DS gives like 100 threat, then it spikes to 38k. I don't have this problem with unholy spec, so it may be that the standard wowhead build has a talent that procs something edit: I managed to get 5 in one attempt. you need to stop your auto attacks as soon as you DS, so be quick on the esc key. that said, I still needed to cheese it more by putting the spines in the bank via jeeves and taking them out once the fight starts (they will be taken from your bags if they aren't in the bank) also, don't leave the instance if they are in the bank or bags)
@@SubtleFW the auto attacks were generating threat even while the bubble shield was up, it's not just "don't deal damage to him" edit: it only generated threat in blood. had no threat issues hitting in unholy
250g per boss and 300g for Illidan. The gold was only nerfed for Mag, ZA, Kara, and the world bosses. Everything else I've done still drops unnerfed gold
