Great video mate. Also, saw in the comments that you’re not a huge fan of the soft shell. I had the same tent (Dakota 1400) and whilst it was great to get me started up in camping, and lots of great memories, after 2 years I really started hating the setup (zips, D shackles cover) 😅😅 especially for the kind of camping/overlanding we do. I went to 23zero panther and it was a game changer. Can’t wait to see the video where you upgrade to a hard shell. 😊
haha I'm feeling exactly the same, funnily enough I was looking at the Panther before I bought the Dakota. The heavier weight of the Panther is a bit of issue for me with the limit on the y62 so still deciding which way to go.
@@adventuremore4x4 yeah, that's fair enough. it definitely is a heavier unit. Still gets you out and about making memories (and videos!) with your partner and doggo tho! :) I ended up selling the Dakota and the Panther is on a Drifta DOT trailer :)
I really liked the tent by car. I’m currently traveling with a camper trailer and shooting a video for youtube, but I have a desire to buy the same tent as yours! good video, thank you!
Thank you, it's definitely a convenience having it all in the car! I'm probably not a huge fan of the soft top so would recommend considering a hard top!
Haha thank you, I did too. Unfortunately this area was near national park and I wasn't sure if I could bring her. They also have lots of baiting at the moment in this area :(
