It would also be very interesting to know if there's any old runic, futhark and burial mound sites in the very north parts here of Norway? Most of the ones people talk about are burial mounds down by Sweden, and especially south coast. I don't even hear of anything from runic or futhark script sites in Norway...

It is a great honour and truly humbling to know that ppl of other cultures are willing to explore your culture, nature, cities, ways of life etc. Russian language though might be almost an insurmountable challenge for the English speaking native but I know many Americans and Brits who tamed and harnessed that quite well so it is doable, or better yet don't worry about language at all who cares just come to enjoy some scenery and whatever fits your tastes. ;D Good luck.

That's actually pretty interesting question. I would wonder too if any Russians try to sneak into Norway, etc or into Finland... not so much as soldiers but maybe fleeing the state? They say many Russians fled to like Armenia and Georgia recently when they had their draft. But many people are good in many countries. Its not the fault of them what their governments do. ... Det är faktiskt ganska intressant fråga. Jag skulle också undra om några ryssar försöker smyga sig in i Norge, etc eller in i Finland... inte så mycket som soldater utan kanske på flykt från staten? ​@@noahriding5780 Nah, Russia has fences within its state instead of borders. In order to save resources and patrol effectively. That's why refugees and runaways would rather go to a checkpoint than cross the terrain directly.

@@NorwegianXplorer you could easy drive the same road 35-50 years ago, from the norwegian side it have not been that hard, there was more observation post on the norwegian side, when I served there at GSV we had 7 stations along the border, think it is less now. On the russian side they looked more inwards than outwards ... they where in the 90's still guarding their own people ... not so much us.

Well, anyone can cross the border so it is accessible, you would be arrested of course, I heard someone did just that a few months ago. I had a long conversation with two border guards and they said I could camp anywhere and there where a lot of places to camp. Things might have changed though, this video is several years old.

Yeah, there are some rules in place which is described in detail, the border guards where very nice and explained to me the more finer details of filming etc along the borders. I agree with your unspoken comment Sam!

This does not prevent the Norwegians from forcibly exporting Ukrainians, after their anti-war pickets in the Russian Federation, back to the Russian Federation (and I live in Ukraine, not in the Russian Federation). The Norwegians repressed my Ukrainian husband (human rights activist - disabled) because disabled Ukrainian citizens (potitologists) abducted from Norway (without trial), who taught the language to refugees in Norway, declared my husband in The Hague to be the main witness to the crimes of a NATO country against Ukrainians - disabled people. The defender of my husband, who notified the Norwegians about the crime of the NATO country, was not allowed to defend her colleague - my husband. My husband's advocate was then sentenced to prison and declared a Political Prisoner. My husband's defender, like my Ukrainian husband, was forcibly brought to the Russian Federation (although my husband's defender has been married to a Finnish citizen for 25 years). My husband defended the rights of disabled Ukrainians in Norway. My husband fought corruption in a Russian Company run by foreigners, including the Ex-Chancellor of Germany, with which Norway cooperated (Norwegian media about MY husband). My husband opposed the collective (!) expulsion of people with disabilities practiced by Norwegians in violation of international law. Ukrainians who became disabled as a result of protecting the rights of others (media), after anti-war pickets in the Russian Federation, were repressed by Norwegians in a NATO country for human rights activities, for protecting the rights in Norway of those who became disabled in Norway as a result of torture by Russian-speaking citizens of a NATO country. The abduction of Ukrainians by Norwegians took place after the Norwegian Red Cross handed Ukrainians documents on close relatives - military personnel of a NATO country (repressed in the Russian Federation). I haven’t seen my Ukrainian husband for a very long time, whom the Norwegians, after his anti-war pickets in the Russian Federation, forcibly took to the Russian Federation.
