@travelling and touring that’s a Yowie, our indigenous brothers and sisters have lived alongside them for thousands of years. We must respect the land and the wildlife or the yowies will hold us accountable.
Love the moon over mountain shot. Choose an aboriginal name that's simple like Gunya (place of shelter) or Oorla (Camp|Hut|Nest). From a fellow kiwi adventurer.
This mans whole esthetic is so calming and relaxing, you definitely deserve more subs with the quality of content you’re uploading. Keep it up brother.
Scotty, aloha from Hawai'i. I totally love your videos. Thank you for sharing your beautiful country. Australia is an amazing country. I love the way you present your story: calm, inclusive and interesting. You are a great storyteller. I watch your videos everyday since I discovered your channel 2 weeks ago. Thank you mate.
“Go To” Shelter, you said it yourself and it works. You could tweak it with “Scotty’s” or “Aussie” or “Southern” or some such but in my opinion the “GoTo” shelter is a great layout with rapid versatility that makes practical sense.
I just watched your videos for the first time a few days ago, and i was in heaven. I have never enjoyed scenery as much as i have in your videos. I hope you go to new and interesting places across western and northern australia too!
Old lady here, watching from New England USA. I actually laughed out loud when you started eating that gigantic hamburger. Never had a cheese crisp. Think I will try making one. Beautiful location.
If you ever stop making these amazing videos, that would be so sad. At least, if you ever stop, please say Goodbye and tell us why. Never leave your long time fans, hanging. Your videos are always jaw dropping.
I gotta say. I love the USA and all the sights and beautiful landscapes but someday I gotta see Australia, it looks so amazing there. From the beaches to wherever this is! Great video man.
Whaat? I just saw that you only have 55k subscribers? I've been watching your videos for over a year now and for some reason I always thought you must have like 500k. The quality of your videos is just amazing. And the landscape..... mate.....incredible country, I hope I get to see it one time
Every place you go, I say to myself ‘there can’t be anyplace more beautiful than here.’ Then the next vid comes out and it turns out there can be. A stunner, for sure. Thank you!
What an absolute great video! Complete change of pace compared to what I'm used to and I'm inspired! Such a relaxing and clam video that I watched on the big screen in the loungroom that has left me me wanting to buy a kayak
G'day mate. Another ripper of a video. You sold us on the kiwi fruit and tacos, but the crispy parmy cheese is next level. I'll be trying that one too! Quick Q, which ground sheet you using? Take care mate. Here for the year watching along. Cheers, Ivan.
Oh man I just got back today from camping in that exact same spot. Thanks for the sticks 😊 very happy to re-live the trip. I was in awe of the scenery the whole time. that burger looked epic!
How about Scotty's Go-To Shelter? In total agreement about the campsite...the campfire...and the G&T! Love to vicariously live your adventures...been years since I've been down under...ATB
Check out the firebox stove site, I’ve just bought a cowboy plate, frying pan, a shallow plate and chopping board which all sits into itself and goes into a canvas bag. 2 sizes to choose from awesome bit of kit.
I have the same for about 3 years best I've come across all fits in small canvas bag works great for size for me alot of great stuff from firebox stoves
I’m sure it’s Tallowa dam heading into Morton National park. Did that paddle myself a couple of years ago and camped at the end. Loved it. Brought back memories. Thanks Scotty
Yea, I spent 4-5 days rafting down the rapids up near the Horseshoe Bends the canoeing further down where he is now. Nice camping. Beautiful gorges. Reminds me a little of the Colo. waterway is a bit different.
Nice Old Town solo canoe. Very specific type. I like my solo also. Who's paddle? Looks like a cherry wood badger or otter tail, Canadian. Nice tarp configuration.
Fantastic video mate, my favourite place in the world. We are so lucky to have such a great waterway to play in. I hope it never gets ruined, and future generations can enjoy this pristine area.
To up your chances for catching bass small cicada lures that walk across the top of the water would be your best bet late arvos and early mornings especially in beautiful remote areas like that. small soft plastics or spinnerbaits would work during the day.
Epic location and video work. So much beauty down under and you really know how make it look perfectly. That was a three camera setup? Did you take a slider with you? Beautiful smooth side motions 👌👍 Well done and cheers for sharing 🍻🍻
