It's FINALLY been done! My First true solo recorded S-Rank on the infamous Carriers of the vine Cherryessa Farm map. While this map is just a shadow of how difficult it use to be in Adams update it is still quite a difficult map to S-Rank especially if you are going in solo with no help from the AI. Good luck to everyone attempting this S-Rank.

Game Version: 1.0
Rank: S-Rank
Restrictions: (No Swat AI, No Mods, No Armor (just knife protection vest), No Shield or Mirror Gun to help with seeing enemies under doors to help make it easier to pre-plan your attack ETC.
Note of interest 1: Turn on highlight weapons in your accessibility options so that it's easier to spot weapons when an enemy drops it.
Note of interest 2: This S-Rank was completed through use of non-lethal weapons and items and currently that's the way that I recommend you approach this if you are trying to S-Rank.

Tip: after all enemies apprehended. Command your team to search and clear rooms. They will find all of the downed weapons you missed

Nice tip Joelski. I haven't used Swat AI in ages but that's a very useful tip for those that use the AI. I'll also remember that tip if I ever feel like messing around with the Swat Ai in the future.

@@Maximus0451 If you use highlight weapons to see where the weapon glitched and crouch up and down you can get the weapons glitched in the ground. The only time i wasn't able to get a glitched weapon is when they fall and get glitched through the stairs.

i was stuck on this level for 2 days solo non lethal. eventually i just said fuck that and went lethal. constantly getting shot through walls with grandmas with the most insane weapons training known to man who are able to sustain fully automatic fire with rifles chambered in 7.62 really pushed me over the metaphorical edge somewhat.

Yeah them old ladies have some serious training. I wonder what kind of special training they went through to aimbot like that. The game must be taking place in the year 3000 where people are getting AI implants in their brain to allow them to go into terminator mode.

Nice run! Impressed that you don’t rely on the mirror gun to get an idea of what’s behind the door - you just burst in and bean bag them down.

this map was the hardest map pre-1.0 as well. It was insane because of the bad AI design instantly aimboting you behind walls and out of nowhere. Made it really hard to S-Rank solo...

very impressive, this map was quite difficult to figure out for me. by the way, can you explain why you use the stab vest? i thought heavy armor/full coverage ceramic was the "meta"

I usually run no amor or anti-stab vest for my solo s-ranks depending on the amount of suspects. I like to use anti-stab vest because you can carry up to 15 items and I don't need armor so i like having the extra items. When doing these solo S-ranks without Swat AI you should be experienced enough at the game where you don't need to rely on armor anymore. I also like running No Armor because even tho it only holds 9 items you get no penalty to your movement speed.

Damn, smooth S rank gameplay here. Would love to see your attempt at Greased Palms. I think that one took me almost 20 times to complete without anyone dying.

This map has very bad bug i wonder how my ar weapons does not ho trough glass or walls like al smgs and they seem to see trough wooden fences and you cant

Yeah I agree. That's why I was very careful when I went outside because I always got 1-tapped from across the map where the AI is hiding behind something and you can't even see the AI. the AI is in badly need of an update.

Bro your so good! It took me like 4 hours just to get a B and you made it look so easy. Also how are not scared of getting flanked by an AI? I am quite curious since new to the game and usually just either brute force the level when I run out of patience or go slow and steady using the AI to clear rooms at times since the enemy AI are at times hard to deal with.

I'm just experienced with the game so i know what to look for. It's important to listen to the enemies talking, running, etc. Look for shadows behind doors or coming through areas. Listen for footsteps. I usually do a mix of fast and slow pace depending on the situation. when you are outside that's when things are bad because they can aimbot from just about anywhere so you need to be extra slow and aware. I hate the outside area in this game because you can't see where they are but they know where you are and aimbot you through walls and stuff.

Yes. I'm going to play it by myself first until I can 100% everything without making a walkthrough first. Once I am able to do that than I will make a 100% walkthrough for it.

Yeah the AI is wild. Most of the community agrees that it needs to be more balanced and fix it's aimbot and other issues that the enemy AI has so hopefully the developers will listen to us.

I would love to have the classic maps back but the classic version of this map won't be hard anymore because they nerfed the Ai so hard that every map is easy now. They need to bring difficulty settings to this game similar to what they did in early access with Raid difficulty being harder than barricaded suspect.

The AI is just very broken. The developers have more work to do on it. When the entire community is complaining about it than you know it's a real problem that needs to be treated so hopefully the devs will take it more serious now that the game is out in 1.0

if you listen to some of the dialogue from the suspects it sounds like they already killed the officers that came on scene. One Tip: Try to pay close to attention to what the suspects say because they give clues to the story. Parts of the story in this game can be found on the map and as I said already suspects sometimes give clues to what they are doing or already did. I like how the developers added that detail to their game because it gets over looked by a lot of people since it's not a common thing that developers do.

Whats the best less lethal primary weapon?

definitely the beanbag shotgun. the other rifles you have to shoot targets multiple times to stun them and they can end up shooting you anyways a lot of the time. beanbag provided you hit them will almost always stun them. ive also found with the pepperball guns you have to shoot them so many times that you end up running out of ammo half way through. beanbag shotgun makes much better use of the shotgun.

Is it even worth trying to S until AI is fixed (if they're fixed in the next hot patch)? just seems like more hell to go through, when it would be less pain-inducing later lmao.

The AI has been like this since early access. I hope they fix it but i don't have high expectations that they will.

I swear it used to be way easier in ea. But the fact that some maps are stupidly hard should hopefully warrant a look at suspects. Anyways you still did an awesome run on this map.

What would you use for lethal?

depends on the map. For this map MP5-10MM is good if you use JHP bullets since they don't have armor on. SA-58 is probably the strongest gun in the game but has a slow rate of fire so you need to be skilled with it and F90 is another good assault rifle option but it shoots reall fast so you need to control your bullets or youll empty a mag fast.

lots of experience with the game and understanding the mechanics as well as the map. I have 200+ hours on this game because I've been playing it way before 1.0 was released. EDIT: Unless you are wondering how to play solo without using AI. You need to play online using your own hosted game.

It's a hard map but you can do it with enough practice. The hardest part is the outside part because they see you from so far away and can shoot you through obstacles.

took me 2 days. with ai. its a lot easier when you go lethal. i gave up on non lethal. my suggestion is to use the wand and just wand EVERY corner and door. if you see someone in there just breach and clear with flashes, stingers or gas. wear full steel plating too. if you want to be the bulletsponge for your ai then take a riot shield. i personally havent tried it on this map but when i have used it, it works relatively well. Another suggestion is to turn on subtitles. when you push F to comply they will often talk when nearby which gives you a warning. similarly when they get stunned or gassed they will groan or cough, giving you info that they are actually stunned. sometimes you can throw a nade in and they dont stun and they end up killing you so subtitles are a good way to confirm that your nade worked.

I seriously cannot find Raskin or Eva in this map. It's a goofy design despite it being so simple on paper. I've tried three restarts clearing it and have lost braincells on the way. But you made this seem like a cakewalk lol. Good play!

@ 2:58 She's found in that room, the room at 2:38 and inside the weird worshipping area on the top floor @ 15:10. @ 5:43 She's found in the general area of her bed room. I don't think she ever leaves it. I always find her around there.

@@chadgrov it's fun. The game requires you to play with up to 5 players or use swat AI so that's why it seems hard in my video but even with Swat AI or a 5 man team It is meant to be a realistic swat shooter so it's going to be harder than your tpyical FPS game.
