I see you used the exact same build i used in my video 🙂 I love that build, it just clicks with me and you did real good with it, got super close with the black Iggy and the Amarg. I'm curious, did you like this build better or your other build with the bone break ?
Yeah I tried your build and honestly just kinda wanted to show more of it to you so maybe you could improve from watching 🤣 especially with those slo-mo clips I had. Honestly, Im actually not sure. Bonebreak is definitely fun but so is heavy bite, but they both play pretty different, so theyre both good imo.
Oh yeah, sometimes its funny to watch myself die and I think it also shows that I don’t want it to seem like I’m the best player in the world lol, no ones perfect!
I hope dasps bites get a hitbox tweak so its not so easy to drag, I feel bad missing hits and still hitting them somehow lol, same with rexes normal bite as it can do almost the same thing 🤣
If you make a T-Rex guide i'll watch it for sure. I'm kind of OK with rex as long as i'm not having to fight a huge mage pack on my own but i'm always up for learning something new. From my Experience, solo rex is always a pain though, no one ever attacks you one on one and since almost everything can outstam you, when you get spotted by packs, you're done. I only play Officials so with no, body down rules to stop the fight after i kill something, i always end up dead no matter what. I fought 3 Hatz on my rex once, i killed two and messed up the third so bad i could call the fight a win for me, the two that i had killed managed to come back before i had a chance to heal and finished me. Of course they can come back, they can fly. That fight was a guaranteed loss for me, no matter how many times i killed them, they always would've come back within a few minutes. Doesn't matter though, i'm on officials for life and yes i would be interested in seeing more rex gameplay from you.
Yeah its pretty rough sometimes lol, I feel ya, if I do make a guide on rex soon at least with how to get good at it Im hoping it gets a good-ish amount of views that way we can start seeing more *good* rex players 🤣
id love to see a dasp guide in depth, like You walk around, see some dino and then why don't You attack it or why would You attack it. My bigges issue is i don't know which apporach to do against which dino and what are potential targets for Dasp. And how do You deal with megapacks?
Ill keep it in mind lol, for megapacks theres not a whole lot you can do except try to either target one and take one out with you, try to run away, or both. Megapacks will always be a major problem for most solo creatures lol.
Not yet, but I’m 1000% sure dasp is absolutely gonna destroy most of the creatures it 50/50s in a fight currently lol, Im super excited to try it out when they come out personally 🤣. And thanks a lot!
I usually use bone snap on dasp, but its a little harder to use anyways and officials can be quite punishing, I always use long distance runner too as dasps turning is pretty ok normally and it doesn’t have the best stamina so long distance runner helps more from my experience, same thing with allo
Did you fight the iggy on LFaW? I think i remember watching it on my thal lol. I was chilling in one of the bushes on the cliff at the beginning of the clip healing from fall damage lol
Depends honestly, in packs I’d say dasp is better with different varieties of play and its also better at ambushing, however as an overall hard-hitting-brawler allo is better imo, its bleed is also a lot better from what I’ve heard
Sucho isnt too fast on land, claw barrage is really strong though so thats what makes it op imo, if a good dasp gets a bonebreak and has the right bites (heavy or normal preferably normal) it CAN win but its still difficult due to suchos high damage and being tankier than dasp, plus its weird collision which makes it hard to tailride.
@@dtbrex08 actually it sucks against little dinos, it works againts big dinos, u are killing a rex with 5 piercing but at the same time u are killing a raptor with 3 piercing bites
@@subieforever8398 yeah its bad for small things but against things your size or bigger youre doing close to if not more damage than a heavy bite which is insane
To be honest, unless I am the worst dasp player, I feel they should give it another voice call like a deep rumble or something to make it viable as solo. I always die in 1V1s as it.
Eh, I think its ok, I mean it wouldnt hurt to give it a solo ability but I personally don’t really think it needs it lol, practice makes perfect though, so if you’re struggling just keep trying :] it also depends on what you’re fighting, but dasp is overall a pretty solid solo dinosaur
Today i won against 2 adult megs with....i believe 15% hp left. Dasp is really good. If one was dead the the berserk perk activated and u deal more damage then before.
I tell you this as a friend and as someone who has vigorously tested it, use both heavy AND piercing bites, treating heavy like a normal bite, when attacking things around your size or larger. It's disgusting.
I’ve tried that before in deathmatch its nuts, but I prefer having normal bite usually with any combo I use but I might possibly try it on officials in the future
@@dtbrex08 Yeah I hate normal in any combination due to the 1.5 second cooldown and dismal damage in comparison to the other two. On top of that, when using both of the heavy style bites, they don't share cooldowns unlike if you're using normal bite or bone break. You can dish out a piercing into two or 3 heavies into another piercing and deal an absurd amount of damage to really anything. If it's too small you can just ignore using piercing, but it's a good way to call out attempted heavy dodges on things around cerato size and still do decent damage.
@@just_connor I hear ya, but against small things at the very least, if they know what they’re doing, normal bite is the most deadly as even though it’s cooldown is quite long, its still about half as much as say a heavy bite. So if you go against a good cera for example, normal bite will probably help the most since ceratos right now can almost facetank a dasp, but normal bite gives them the hardest time if they try that. From my experience at least lol
@@dtbrex08 ah, I play with tail attack primarily against ceras as I dislike being the one chasing in that fight due to armor tail being so popular with them, and with traction it's very easy to get a brake check heavy bite consistently. No need to face tank, just be evasive and manage stamina well enough. Though I absolutely see your point with small things, dealing with a few raptors or things of similar size would necessitate a normal bite. I just rarely see them and when I do they usually suck at landing pounces or getting behind me.
I might do a *guide* but honestly theres not really a specific build for everything imo as it depends on the playstyle, especially with dasp. But Ill keep it in mind!
