Hello from the very quiet sunny Ozarks Kim! Another video of value! Folding kayaks are great asset. i have a tuktec and takes litttle room to pack and light to carry. Its great in calm waters but doesnt like wakes. i keep a bilge pump in mine to pump water out if the wakes get to high. thanks for sharing another adventure. tight lines!

Hello to the Ozarks! Thanks Phillip! Love folding kayaks! I was going to go with Tuktec too but got attracted by Oru's kickstarter. Thanks for the tip - I don't have a pump but we're regulated to have at least a bailer/bucket along with some other safety stuff. I haven't attempted to take it into rougher waters yet as I still prefer small and calm bodies of water. Thanks for watching and tight lines and bent rods!

Hi Kim, I enjoyed your trip to 6 mile lake park. It was very peaceful and certain amount of calmness. Loved the dancing bear😁. I think what through me off was the kayak🚣🏻‍♀️. I have never seen a collapsable kayak or any type of water floatation device 🤔. Inflated yes but not folding in a sense. So cool👍. Camping at 6 miles looks amazing and will have to put it on my list in the fall. Thanks Kim for another amazing video 🙏🫶

Hi Dave! The folding kayak is really cool! I don't really have space to mount a kayak on my roof next to the roof box, so having one that fits neatly into my trunk is great. It's also very very light weight and tracks decently straight in the waters. The only thing is that I had it shipped up from California, so it was a bit costly after duties and all, but I've enjoyed using it quite a bit, so still worth it to me. Thanks again!

Great video! Can you please tell me what brand was the gas stove and cook stand you were using when making your soup.
@campingwithkim
@campingwithkim 7 месяцев назад
Thanks Edmund! The stove is a Widesea Camping Gas Stove. The stand didn't really have a brand, but I just searched for "stainless steel folding campfire grill stand" and a few options came up on amazon for me. The one I bought had these dimensions: Unfolded size: 32*22.5*29cm/10.6*8.7*11.4in Folded size: 27*24.5*1cm/10.6*9.6*0.4in but it was a bit too tall for this stove, so I just installed the legs backwards (the feet will spread out farther apart) and it lowered itself closer to this stove. Enjoy!

Love your set up, Where can I get that stand and light you use at 7:05

Hi Christopher, Thanks and sorry I missed seeing your message earlier! The light stand is a generic piece I found browsing online. You'll find many options using the search terms "Folding Camping Lantern Stand Pole" on Amazon, etc. As for the light, I got a pair of them from Aliexpress and you can find it by searching "80W MOS-LY01-1PCS" for a single piece. I wasn't sure if it was going to be a nice light but it turned out to be plenty bright with a really good battery life. Recharging it can take a long while though.

4:08 Could you share the brand of cot you are using? I’m looking for one that is already set up/simple to fold out without needing to stretch the material over the ends (hard if you lack strength from arthritis). 😊
@campingwithkim
@campingwithkim Год назад
Hi Eva! The cot I bought was this one www.amazon.ca/dp/B08PB87XV5 but I don't see it available on Amazon's Australia site. It's just a generically mass produced and rebranded cot which sells under many made up names like this one www.amazon.com.au/HIGH-POINT-SPORTS-Sleeping-Portable/dp/B0BYD5BY6N If you browse around for this product, you will find very similar cots on Amazon's site under various names and prices. I also looked at a few of your Australian camping stores and found a few other options for you here: www.downundercamping.com.au/coleman-converta-suspension-cot www.bcf.com.au/p/wanderer-easy-out-stretcher-single/520766.html decathlon.com.au/products/camp-bed-for-camping-camp-bed-second-65-cm-1-person www.macpac.com.au/wanderer-easy-up-single-stretcher/118855.html Hope that helps!
