I spent ten years on tanks in the U.S. Army. Whenever I'd get asked "where do you park that M1A1 tank?" I'd always respond with "anywhere I damn well please. IT'S A TANK!" I love Unimogs, those things are pretty indestructible. When I was stationed in Germany (Hallo, Hesse!) some of us were taught how to drive them by the Bundeswehr.

@@LiveandGive4x4 Well it was the short wheel base model. Not realy suited for an overlander build. So we got ourselfs an Iveco Daily LWB. But the Unimog is still in my head. Maybe one day there will be an other one... 😉

Best choice Unimog can go anywhere were others fail easily, 7 know we had them in military and fire rescue. Its shame they so pricey but I guess you pay for what you get, quality- german engineering and innovation. Enjoy and stay safe.

I would love the opportunity to take a short trip with such a lovely ladie. I can be really small yet really big when needed...that sounded wierd...I mean in any confrontations that she might not want to be bothered with from any unwanted people.. or any kind of maintenance or physically demanding and challenging tasks. Also my dog shamus is a real joy to travel with. He is practically invisible. My bags are packed.

3:10 Ich hoffe, es ist Britta nicht allzu wichtig, aber das ist kein Sani-Unimog. Das taktische Zeichen ist von den Heeresfliegern (Hubschrauber), ein Sani hätte Blaulichter auf dem Dach (und die entsprechenden Anschlüsse). Die Luke ist für ein MG, es fehlt nur die Halterung.

When you are in the USA or Canada, where do you park or camp in the expedition vehicle. Will trailer parks and state parks accept an expedition overland vehicle.
