Join me for Part 2 of this adventure as I visit Coffin Bay National Park to do some more solo fishing and camping - and a fair bit of four wheel driving, just to get there! More stunning coastal scenery from the foot of Eyre Peninsula in South Australia - and some quality eating fish!

Great videos so thank you for sharing Do you think I could pull my light camper trailer through the sand dunes or would you feel just a 4x4? Thanks in advance

Thanks James! I have seen small camper trailers here, so as long as you have the right tyre pressure in both tow vehicle and trailer, it shouldn't be a problem but be warned the the sand can be very soft in the hotter weather. I would either travel with another vehicle or at the very least carry recovery boards!

@@captainfrank01 If you ever need/want company give me a yell, although I suspect you go to be alone. I will be, diseases willing, going to the Grampians this year and have just got back from a trip to Robe with the rev. limiter. Gorgeous area down there and great fishing I am told but it wasn't the best weather when we were there.

@@oldbloke204 I do like my time alone in the bush, wherever it is, because I can do things on my schedule not someone elses! However, it is good to have company for social/safety reasons at times too. My wife likes 5 star as opposed to 5 zillion star accommodation which is another reason! Looked like a really great spot to spend some time! We need to invest in a 4WD ourselves! The little mazda we have is only good for nice paved roads!

It is a great spot for sure, but definitely 4WD access only! I have a Mazda myself and it wouldn't get through the first 100m of sand!

Mine too! Unfortunately, I don't know that it is really that secret - guess at least because it is only accessible by 4WD it helps keep the crowds down!
