Solo flawless completion of NEW dungeon "Vesper's Host" in Episode: Revenant on Prismatic Warlock - Solo Flawless Dungeon - Solo Dungeon - How to Complete Vesper's Host Guide - Prismatic Warlock Build - Episode: Revenant - Destiny 2 The Final Shape.
I did not have much time to play over the weekend and time I had I dedicated to playing contest mode with friends as this is a timed event and it was incredibly fun. But now that I have time I went for a solo flawless completion of the new dungeon. I think this dungeon is great, it's fun, mechanics are actually engaging (albeit sometimes it can drag for a while), and the whole atmosphere/music keeps you on edge the whole time. Bungie have done a great job!
Initially I wanted to get this done on Hunter and I got nice loadouts figured for the whole dungeon. However, the last boss damage phase is extremely annoying on Hunter with no proper means for constant healing, which results in having to deal with adds most of the time and doing much less damage than titan or warlock. Titan is probably the easiest, as consecration makes everything a joke up to the last boss damage phase, and most of the videos I have seen are using titans. So I decided to go Warlock instead, and I think the loadouts are already good enough, and mostly optimised for a safe solo flawless completion.
For Raneiks Unified boss fight I am using Star-Eater Scales buffed Stormtrance (who would have thought?) and Parasite. It's a combination of many buffs and debuffs - weaken from grenade launcher and transcendence grenade, jolt from storm grenade and super, radiant from melee to buff Parasite, and SES buffing Stormtrance. All in all, it results in a very comfortable 4 phase clear of this boss.
For The Corrupted Puppeteer boss fight I am using the Stag and a little safe spot above the bunker. Healing Rift and Healing Grenade provide constant healing. Grand Overture is incredibly at this boss fight, and allows for a comfortable 4 phase clear of the boss. Lost Signal grenade launcher also applies weaken, while arcane needles provide radiant, which is important to cast before Overture volley. For the mechanics phases I am using Speaker's Sight to get some extra healing while taking/dunking various buffs.
Other than that, for the rest of the dungeon I am using Getaway Artist Bleak Watcher build with Song of Flame and Khvostov. It's a great build for general play and works fine for the 1st encounter.

I don’t get how the door opens at the beginning. I pick up the yellow scanner and it shows which panels have electricity. Then I pick up the red scanner and shoot those panels. But not really?

Really interesting. Im getting ready for my tries and gonna take a lot of ideas from your run. Its one of the safest I saw so far. No crazy moves (and its a good thing for people like me who are not god tier) no PC only things. Very "simple" and effective. I like it, great job!

Yes, I tried to play it as safely as possible, it was actually my first try after getting the first clear and finalising loadouts. Of course I had plenty of practice in contest mode though

@@KeerPlays what legendary would you play as heavy if exotic slot was aleary taken by a... riskrunner. Yeah I will take 0 risk 😀

Assuming you still want to swap to Grand Overture for damage, I would have some arc machine gun in the heavy slot so that you do not lose much ammo. If that is Raneiks then probably some random solar heavy GL would do the trick, but you need to build up stacks for Parasite, so you would still need to do the swap at least before shooting the panels, there is time to farm some adds.

I did like 6 damage phases on Raneiks and was a little over half, when i died. This boss takes forever xD Is Stormtrance a thing? I tried solar Warlock and void bomb lock, they both seem kinda weak to this boss

Yeah it seems to be a thing, as I managed to get it done in a comfortable 4 phase clear with Parasite and Stormtrance with Star-Eater. Of course there are buffs and debuffs though.

A recommendation - look into using the heavy wave frame GL from Lightfall for it. I've been running it with Envious + OFA and easily 3-4 phasing the fight solo with it. To get the most of it, I ran Getaway for the Stasis turret darkness debuffs, Lost Signal for easy artifact mod weaken, SoF for the radiant + ignitions on snap, and Riskrunner helps with survivability till DPS phase. You don't really need to use prismatic ascension anywhere, I just opt for it when killing the Machine Priest and for dealing with the Homing Shanks part. Give it a shot!

HOW do you make it so your sector purge countdown timer is 40 seconds everytime. My fireteam only had like 8 seconds everytime. we wiped there multiple times in a row.

Sector Purge Countdown starts at 45 seconds as soon as you shoot the last operator panel. I usually made it to the room with about 20 seconds on the timer. As soon as you dunk the nuclear core, the Sector Purge Countdown resets to 5 seconds and the doors close.

@@KeerPlays that's so wild because I'm not sure we ever started at above 10 seconds. Wierd. Maybe is was bugged in our encounter.

I think if you kill the wrong clone in the final boss encounter the timer goes down to like 5 seconds

Every wrong clone you kill takes time off the timer, so someone was def doing that in your fireteam

I might oversee something but my armor charges are always expiring no matter what mod I have equipped. How can I prevent this ?

You need to have mods that consume armor charges on specific actions. Those are yellow mods slotted in the class item. In the mechanics loadouts you should have one of those to "store" armor charges. You shouldn't have any surge mods or other mods that make the charges decay. For the damage phase you swap out to surge mods and time dilation mods.

@@KeerPlays oh I see thank you. For some reason I always thought all yellow mods don’t expire but it’s apparently only the ones on the class item.
