Loui I love your outlook on things. It's really not the destination, it's the fabulous windy journey along the way. I've been a nomad my entire life, raising a family and becoming an injured widow along the way. I still camp/goldpan in the remote BC wilderness, although I sleep in my car now instead of wandering off on foot. Let your spirit shine girl, you're living the best life imaginabe 👋🇨🇦
Loui, I am extremely proud of you! Your adventurous soul, easy going mood and very lovely young lady. You are doing things that most people, like myself, can only dream about ( cheering you on from my computer as I watch your adventure of the day). Perhaps I could have or could do similar things like you are doing but at the moment i will leave this in your very capable hands and Keep on dancing! PS, I found your channel while tuning into Forresty Forrest and you both ROCK!
A Thanksgiving instant classic video! That meal looked AMAZING, well done, you definitely earned it bucking up that tree with the handsaw! The pumpkin pie was hilarious, lol, thank you for sharing your holiday cheer.
Cooking with Loui! You’re so fun to watch. The failure to get up the mountain just adds to the adventure, and is realism. Also, William reminds me so much of my old boy(size and colouring and temperament) who made it to 16 and half years. I love them both!
Loui - this is a great video. We are totally impressed with your fire building and cooking skills. Your Thanksgiving meal was amazing. The pumpkin pie breakfast is one for the best cookbooks. We completely appreciate your smart resolve to only climb mountains when you feel comfortable with the route. Take good care, and thanks for sharing this wonderful chapter in your adventure. Stay warm.
Good job, Loui! Over-cooked is better than undercooked and a meat thermometer doesn't take up much room, it's cold out there and digestion issues can be everything bad out in it! Happy Thanksgiving! About climbing that mountain... I'm glad that FF is a responsible climbing partner, too often an experienced climber will let the less experienced one go back alone and sooo often that ends up with the less experienced one being lost to the weather, wilderness etc. Good choice in friends!
You really earned it after cutting those dead trees with your little saw! The entire meal looked so delicious and hearty! What I'd give right now for a well-loaded plate of the food you made, a comfy chair and blanket a couple of meters away from a fire and someone I like to talk with until the fire runs itself out. I'm glad Steve introduced us to your channel. I wonder if you're the vehicle-dweller who will finally convince me to buy that small electric van and start doing those solo weekend outings I've been dreaming of for a good decade.
Hi Adventure Time Loui , I am watching your channel all the way from Australia . You are such a cool chicky ! You can do anything . What an inspiration you are for the young generation . Your Mum must be so very proud of you . Thank you for helping me to travel and see such beautiful places from my laptop . You make me smile , what a lovely sweet soul you are Loui ! Love William as well .
Yummy! That green bean casserole looked amazing. I have to say my favorite thing is William bounding around like a bunny in the snow. Stay well little one!
Best campfire cooking I have ever watched. Yes, I do agree it is very fun and satisfying. Love your channel. I found you through Foresty, I can not lie. glad I did. Also.. lOL.. I am not yet sure who is the better cook.. I think Foresty Forest is in for a challenge .. I think he has been beaten. But who knows.
What an amazing fire cook! My mouth was watering. Loved this video. Btw, I absolutely love your videos with Simon...he is the reason I found your channel.❤
holy cow. you know what I eat when I sleep in my car? Kraft dinner. Your eating better in the woods than I eat at home. I need to really get back into cooking now its winter. This was inspirational.
I use your pumpkin pie recipe with sandwich bread instead of biscuits. I cut the sides off than close with a fork all the way around after applying filling. Than I toast in the oven or fry in a skillet on top of the stove with butter until toasted on both sides. Yes, I'm from the South...lol. I use preserves, sweet potato pie filling, jelly or whatever sweet filling we have a taste for, and they are yummy. Your meal looked delicious. Happy Holidays!!
Ha! I asked Simon to climb that mountain a few years back. It really is a riddle that one. I have been up there a few times but didn't find a way. It is also a deceiving mountain. It can get you in trouble really fast. Play safe out their kids!
Wow! The food looks amazing! The lights definitely make it the holidays. Mountain hiking is the best. The views from the tops are unforgettable. Stay safe out there! ✌🏽❤️🥾
Thank you so much for cookin in the snow! I just bought a used 10 ft happier camper to winter camp in… and u inspired me to be adventurous with my cooking 😊! Looked yummmm . Ty😊✌️rock and roll Loui!
What a fun episode! William bouncing with joy, and seeing you have fun cooking up a fantastic Thanksgiving meal! I'm going to have to try that pumpkin pie hack at some point. Good for you tackling that mountain. If time is a factor, maybe try in the summer when you have some longer hours. Your channel is one of my favourite discoveries from Foresty Forest, and I'm in for the long haul! Looking forward to your next adventure!
Hello there 👋🏽 I just recently discovered and subscribed to your RU-vid channel. I admire your independence and sense of adventure. I'm traveling with you "virtually" Take care and be safe ✌🏾
Saw you with Forestry Forest and made sure to track you down. Used to be an avid camper but at 73 have had to give it up. Love seeing another female out taking on nature.

Did you say 5 centimeters? Welcome to Canada. BTW best thing is long dead trees and let the fire burn them in halves. Almost no cutting Cheers from Yukon
Nice work that was an Impressive meal. With the magic of video editing you made it look easy. I also appreciate the hard work you put in off camera. Can’t wait to see the next adventure.
This is the first video that I’ve seen from you. Excellent video and great job on the Feast. I’ll save your channel so I can watch more of your adventures tonight. Please stay safe. Watching from Michigan. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Family. 🙏🌹🌹🙏
Happen to stumble upon your video. It’s amazing how you can make such delicious food in the middle of the woods in cold weather. Subscribed from the concrete jungle of NYC!
That was a lovely episode Loui, your cooking expertise has really grown, i could almost smell that delicious meal from my sofa. Do you have to consider bears coming into your camp with the smell of food, or are they now hibernating? Look forward to your next adventure.
That is an A+ meal right there. Between you, Foresty, Steve1989 I always find myself snacking while watching RU-vid! If you have a stick blender or just want an arm work out, take the Apricot preserves, some chipotle chilis in adobo and sour cream and blend them together. It makes a wicked sauce to cook diced up chicken in for tacos. We call them Magic Tacos. So good.
Lake Abraham use right by my home town . It use to be so unknown to most . Us lady's use to drop off the kids to school and go there to chill wile the kids where in school and see no one...
Great stuff! That was awesome, never heard of spatchcock chicken, just added it to my list for next summer's cooking. That pumpkin pie looked awesome, thanks for sharing!
