1. This is one of the first times I've attempted to do anything fast like this, and it was really fun. It did take some time learning all the spawns and stuff, but I enjoyed that whole process, so it wasn't too bad. I know that it's using the standard consecration + synthoceps build, but that was the best way I could think of to clear the rooms fast. I could definitely get a quicker time by optimizing the boss room. Probably need to use some better weapons, it's just so rough not using an intrinsic barrier weapon, so that's why I opted for Erianas. Also, I would prefer to have Inmost Light and Synthos for this, but I don't have that roll. If I did, I think an eager edge sword would actually be viable. my friend has inmost/synthos and when he pops transcendence it’s just unlimited flame nuke spamming forever. We had a 12 min run last night with a LFG running double primary lol

On prismatic titan: [TLDR; I think primatic titan is the best prismatic class, but has limited build variety. Class items need more options and we need more aspects.] Despite much of the discourse surrounding prismatic titan, I actually think it arguably the best prismatic out of all of them. Consecration + Synthos might be on par if not better than liars handshake prismatic hunter for damage on single targets like champions and miniboss enemies. The grapple + synthos + stylish hunter is just busted, so there's no comparison with that. Celestial + still hunt isn't really related to prismatic, but when that gets nerfed, titan might have the best dps (not 100% sure). Star eater + Twilight Arsenal, transcendence, and a good weapon rotation just does so much damage. Oh yeah, titan also has the best transcendence grenade. Even though I think titan prismatic is potentially the best, I think it still has a problem: You are essentially narrowed down into one or two builds. I think the exotic class item needs more and better options, and it needs more aspects. Banner of war might be too busted, so maybe something like into the fray, touch of thunder but it changes all the grenades, and sunspots would also be fun. Let me know what you think.
i honestly have been thinking the same thing, all of final shape i’ve only been playing prismatic hunter, and i know i wouldn’t be able to solo a gm with liars or celestial still hunt to the same efficiency that you have in this video. Great video nonetheless and prismatic titan is so busted. might need to take the time to start grinding on mine.
As a titan main, literally just yes. Titans never really had a problem of efficacy, rather it’s a problem of diversity. The same 2-3 builds are titans only competitive options in PvE and dps rotations have always been wayyyy too dependent on the boss. Twilight Arsenal fixes a good bit of the DPS stuff but still needs work as it’s buggy and the tracking is atrocious. Overall, titan is NOT lacking in power, rather it’s lacking identity and options.
Maybe I'm crazy, but Prismatic titan has more options for varied playstyles than any other single subclass. It's not bad, there's just a lack of synergy within the options we have. But just like with everything, "the best" will rise to the top, and there will be 2 or maybe 3 that are contenders, and the rest of the builds just naturally fall to the wayside. But look at Strand.. you can lean into suspend, or you can go banner and melee shit to death. You can build both of those in Prismatic, but then tweak your kit to accommodate for most champ types without the need to use specific guns with anti-champ from the artifact.. although obviously depending on the specific activity you may still want to run specific anti-champ weapons. The problem with Prismatic titan is the aspects don't synergize nicely aside from Knockout/Consecration. And if you want to run the Fragment for melee healing instead of knockout, I've noticed that powered melee kills do not trigger health regen, which just feels bad. Unbreakable is close to being a good aspect, but it needs some help: if they tied it to class ability instead of grenade, I think that would be a step in the right direction (and add better synergy in a straight Void build). As an example of how the kit doesn't feel fluid with all the subclass keywords: the Prismatic Lancecap build is really strong, doesn't even require running the Diamond Lance aspect, BUT it does force you to run the Stasis super if not running Diamond Lance. Not a big deal depending on the activity and all, but Frost Armor feels really bad compared to Woven Mail or even Overshield with Facet of Purpose because you have to rely on orbs to get stacks instead of picking an orb up and immediately having 40% dr from woven mail. I think orbs should give 2-3 stacks of frost armor, or frost armor should decay 1 stack at a time. It's little tweaks like that that could make Prismatic Titan feel more synergistic imo.
@@drawde3972 I have a contact + severance roll, and it is certainly really good. I just think I wouldn’t be able to clear the rooms as quickly with that roll, mainly referring to one shorting champions and quickly killing those mini boss enemies. Also regarding synthos in GMs, it is the best when you can get a jump on the enemies like I was doing in this run. If it’s a GM where the enemies are already spawned, or they’re spread apart, it may not be worth running synthos. They just happened to work best for this specific nightfall.
Consecration is most def the best prismatic class in terms of just raw power. Inmost + syntho on titan mark slaps hard. It’s just there’s no other solid options imo for titan rn
If I don’t have a kept confidence hand cannon. Do you recommend anything other primary? I liked this build a lot I got a hear of inmost light synthoceps class item
better devils from crucible if you want another 140 strand hc or go with the call rocket sidearm from pale heart for non overload situations both work as a way to refill your darkness bar pretty well
The reason I used kept confidence was so I could build my darkness transcendence easier (because it’s strand), and because it had pugilist so I could get my melee back quicker. Originally I didn’t run any weapon with overload, and solely relied on my grenades for the jolt, but that was too inconsistent in the final boss room. If you have a good darkness heavy weapon to build transcendence , than you can probably just use that and use any primary weapon. If you have better melee generation, than you probably don’t even need pugilist.
I don’t know if it’s like this for all nightfall difficulty tiers, but with grandmaster, the enemy spawns scale with how many players there are. So because I’m solo, it spawns less enemies there.
I would actually prefer hoil over assassin, I just don’t have that roll unfortunately Assassin was definitely helpful, but if I didn’t have it, I just could’ve played more careful in certain situations. Also the healing and damage resist from prismatic is so strong, that in the few attempts I did without assassin, I was still surviving in the enemy dense rooms.
How can you almost one shot every champ with one melee? I tried out a similar build in a lost sector at master difficulty yet I could not do damage as you did here. Any thoughts about?
@@Oberstien17 For this build with synthoceps, it is a combination of making sure you are surrounded when doing your melee, as well as taking advantage of melee damage buffs like knockout and shieldcrush. Also, when there are enemies around a big target, all the ignitions from them dying will do even more damage to the big guy.
I mainly chose it due to other weapons I needed for the build. I needed a good strand or stasis primary with pugilist so that I could build my darkness transcendence and get my melee back quicker. I went with the Kept Confidence for primary, so then I just decided to go with Erianas Vow, and because it’s also good at dealing with the snipers.
Finnaly someone with a brain that dousnt say prismatic titan is bad like wtfff 3 consecrations with huge range that van stun all 3 champs if you have point contact class item and facet of dawn!!! And the grenade stuns unstops and overloads so easily and consistently!!!!!! Whoever says it's the worst class is just bad at the game honestly
I'm taking advantage of the fact that someone is talking about it - finally someone who uses correctly (and really perfectly!) prismatic titan and especially consecration, with the knockout combo and the strand melee. You are the first person in the gameplay to whom I can judge it to be really fun and effective at the same time, in short I think you deserve attention ! Speaking of prismatic titan, I hope they will add more perks on exotic class items and also other aspects, fragments from subclasses and abilities, there would be so many interesting possibilities...
