Ergo sum was really fun to use in this nightfall. It fits into the consecration build so well! People said arc conductor + wave frame wouldn't be good for high end content, but I think this video proved them wrong. This run was honestly one of the more scuffed runs I did. I could've cut at least 20 seconds if I did the first miniboss room better, and if I could kill the final boss quicker probably with more synthos consecration on it. One more thing, I actually found the Spirt of Assassin on the class item really helpful for this run, as opposed to Glassway where I think HOIL would've been better. Anyway, have a great day!
I've been using Ergo Sum with Perfect Fifth and a Caster frame for GMs this season and it slaps. It does a surprising amount of damage to champs! Great vid, makes me want to grind out a Sytho + Assassin's roll now 😂
Got the same sword and had fun times in last weeks GM too, funnel all the adds into mid and just blasted. And used it on Master SE raid when it wasn't even arc surge, and it cleared the rooms in one heavy.
As a fellow Ergo Sum enjoyer trying to force it in high end content, I love this. I've been avoiding Consecration like the plague, but seeing how effective it is against Champions here makes me want to reconsider my bias against it...
GGs! I think being able to invis after a powered melee kill is better for higher level content. Prismatic has built-in ability spam so HOIL does not offer much value here. If all comes down to how fast you can get the transendence meter filled up.
I was curious how arc conductor would do on GM enemies. Just figured we'd have to wait for a week with arc or sword overcharge but I guess the artifact mod overcharges it so that's cool.
If you want to see titans front and center look at any content that was released about destiny from 2014 to the last day of Lightfall, lots of stuff for you to look at !
@@Penguinman2.0 oh no, it's definitely skill at this point, it's just prismatic being busted is relative to the other classes which is why titans are "weak".
Titans literally have the best prismatic subclass... None of the other classes have this level of efficiency in champion and ad clear whilst still having the highest damage/utility melee ability and easiest time proccing transcendence.
Spirit of the Assassin and Spirit of Synthoceps is an insane Roll. Just started playing Destiny again after a 4 year break and don't even know yet how to get the exotic class item.
Incredible, im a titan main and havent been enjoying so much this season comapred to hunter and warlock. This right here is what im missing. I love being aggressive but i just kept dying on my prismatic titan, been struggling to find what works for me. This looks like what i want to use in harder content. You made fhis look good, time to change an aspect
Questions.... 1-why the smg? i noticed your other vid you use pugilest strand hc... do you just like primary with pugilist to help with spam or what? 2-why strand surge if you're using arc siphon and a void heavy.... usually people surge the weapon they add clear with or heavy.
I have the HOIL one and been running this build for a couple weeks, but i used glacial grenades for the shatter damage and using wave frame to break it
The raid smg is not needed, but I do think it is the best option. You can use any darkness weapon that does anti barrier (smg or pulse rifle). A darkness weapon is key to charge transcendence. Alternatively, you can sacrifice a fragment and put on Facet of Dawn so that powered melee hits grant you radiant, so you can break barriers that way and not worry about the weapon type.
The Neomuna SMG is strand if you don't want to raid/do trials. Has envious assassin/pulse monitor/keep away in the 3rd column and Pugilist/Target Lock/Kill Clip/Hatchling in the 4th. Also has nano tracer rocket origin trait which adds a little extra damage
On controller, I have my powered melee as HOLD R2 and my unpowered melee as DOUBLE TAP R2. It is kinda inconvenient but was the only way I could make it work on controller.
@@ItzTheDubGaming that’s a good idea. Did you swap your shoot gun button to r1 I take it? I have melee as r1 so your setup will work. I have my res/ pickup heavy button as ads/ L2 for pvp lol. Very weird but also works
@@wethepeople8280 I’ve always used L1 and R1 to aim and shoot in FPS games, so I’m just used to that. I have pretty weird key binds overall, where I use down on d-pad for my super, and right for transcendence.
would this build work on warlock with lighting surge + devour instead of consecration + knockout? would warlock deal comparable damage? they can get the same role on class item
@@oliverbaker8765 I think you could make it work, but the melee certainly wouldn’t do as much damage to champions and bosses as the consecration. Though you could run Song of Flame on warlock, which would allow you to clear rooms probably just as fast as consecration. I think it’s possible, you would just need to use more heavy to clean up champions.
DTG players: prismatic Titan is weak Me, only capable of mimicking a fraction of what actually good titans (like OP) are capable of: LITERALLY HOW. EVEN THE FRACTION OF THAT POWER I'M CAPABLE OF BULLDOZES SHIT Seriously though you make this look easy but I play GMs enough to know how nuts this is. Great play, it was fun to watch!
It is weak when only one build is capable of being produced for high end content. It's another synthos centered build that centers itself around the three melee slams from consecration + knockout. Which I can't judge as those two aspects are practically the only two that synergize well. Prismatic is meant to inspire a variety of builds, yet here we are again with one set.
@@deathfromthedepths I mean, the fundamental problem there is that Bungie has a tendency to triple down on degenerate (i.e. the game theory term) gameplay loops. This is not a new problem nor one isolated to prismatic Titan nor one isolated to Titan at all. And part of the issue is to mass market the game they make compromises to the game design that naturally lead to predominantly degenerate strategies. I'd want them to design the game around less marred by laughably broken shit but a game with genuinely nuanced buildcrafting of the type I'd like to see would be incredibly difficult to market (especially given their current clientele) and make their investors annoyed. By all means if we're going to talk about the linearity and strategic degeneracy of the game we can, but we shouldn't pretend that it's either new or unique to this subclass lol
@@bigjake8943 yeah that's what I meant, adapting the difficulty to what the current builds can do. Why not getting closer to the difficulty we knew in season of the chosen or even further in the seasons
If “difficult” implies going back to how it was years ago then I'm good. I'd rather the game he easier with more options to actually have more fun then playing super defensive, getting one shot by everything and crutching the meta lmao
