XD Was that part of a modifier at lvl9 (no ideal lol) or just a bug caused by mortar sentry coming off cooldown mid-activation? Should I report that bug or have you done it already? I haven't seen you mention it, nor in the comments. Feels weird, but the vid is fresh and maybe you haven't noticed in the heat of the battle 🫢 EDIT: same at 6:18 wtf, so mean. You do manage to successfully call in the sentries later tho

ive seen a decent amount of these videos but its only on defense mode or search and destroy, now doing this with objectives would be impressive as the defense and search are the easiest modes in the game

Your content is good enough to consider switching from Nvidia Shadowplay (great as a 'save that moment' tool) to OBS (you can still set-up a buffer for save that moment type recordings if needed) and recording it properly. Kudos on the solo's, your vids are more watchable (and educational) than the 1,000 "things you wish you had known before you started" type vids doing the rounds at the moment. @@D3c1ine I'm surprised more people are not complaining, the line and dot are one thing but that little circle that jumps around constantly as you recoil is awful.

@@jpchippy Why would it be annoying? It shows where you will actually shoot. Your reticle is only showing where you are intending to shoot, but the bullets actually do follow the direction of the gun just like in squad

@@tatertime it's just unnecessary, there's already enough going on without overcrowded hud elements adding more to the mix, plus as @D3cline has mentioned above it spoils the immersion too.

Wish more devs added more and varied enemies for difficulty instead of just turning everything into bullet sponges.

There is no difficulty scaling based on players

You do get slightly tougher versions of the regular mobs and special enemies as well tbh. Bot patrols have more heavier infantry with slightly better armor/MGs instead of rifles, bugs get more acid spewing scouts, more well-armored chargers, etc. But yeah it's mostly just an increase in the numbers and modifiers.

​@EsdHuncho that could still come was thinking of this the other day - Super-Earth Traitor faction called Bonepickers who could also pop-up as a spanner in the works during a mission. They want to strike out on thier own and live free-loaders from Super-Earths Managed Democracy. They could also attack, breach Super Destroyers which is triggered only with a full cadre of divers aboard a host-ship. Successful defense yields a wealth of accolades. Bursting the bubble.

The fun part is how the “boss”/toughest enemy of one difficulty becomes a regular enemy on the next one up

Next one will be Halo, in the original game the 3rd race was a technologically advanced alien race, that had shields and energy weapons galore. Can't wait to see how that works. I hope the one after that is 40K and we get either an Ork or an Eldar analogue, or maybe some evil hellspawn analog.

​@@Keemperor40K Looking forward to that faction. Terminids, the first enemy group helldivers usually deal with, having little changes since the first game. Automatons are probably cyborgs leaning more into their robotic parts but still keep their aesthetic, have moderate changes. So, I hope the Illuminates will have the most radical changes of all the factions.

@@danme8823 while not confirmed, it is almost certain to be a rework of the Illuminate, so a highly advanced alien species, similar to the Covenant, Protoss or Eldar, which already appeared back in Helldivers 1. I have no idea if the Devs have plans beyond the 3rd faction, but I can always hope it is a brutish alien race in the same vein as the Orks, Brutes from Halo or the Locusts from Gears of War. After that, who knows, we already have some of the most basic tropes, alien bugs, evil robots, advanced alien and if they add the Ork analog Brutish tugs, so what major trope can they do next? I hope they don't, but a demonic or an enemy from another dimension is an interesting enemy. who knows, they have many options that they could do, but the question is how to give them a good spin. I just thought of one, a super soldier army, each enemy is a very durable opponent, but they come in low numbers.

​@Keemperor40K 4 factions planned already and I'd imagine with the number of players legit passing cod and gta for active players wouldn't be suprised if they started work on a fith 😂 they expected the game to reach a max player count of no more then 50-60 at peak... it has iver 380k on ps5 alone and climbing its wild imagine this game if they had known how well it woukd do it'd be a whole different game with heaps more. Just think of cods budget compared to this game yet cod is a rubbish dlc of a game

This is by far the easiest mission mode, and it looks scaled down for 1 person. Not a single tank was dropped. I did the same mission with 4 people on difficulty 6 and the first dropship was a tank

@@michaelackerman2400 Its generated seed so its never the same encounter, also did a full operation against robot solo

@@michaelackerman2400 I’ve had 3 tanks with four people and zero tanks with four people. I think it’s randomized with maybe like a percentage chance of each type of drop

@@LMS764 Yes, I know it will not be the same encounter. My point, based on anecdotal evidence, is that this mission, whether by chance or intentional design from the development team, was relatively easy for helldive difficulty.
