Thanks Ken! I appreciate the feedback and encouragement. I’m enjoying the process of getting better at storytelling through video and it’s a fun way to capture my own memories. Glad some others like yourself find value in it as well!
Beautifully captured hike! Felt like we were watching a movie. Enjoyed the sounds of nature, along with the music you chose. It was the perfect compliment to the breathtaking scenery. Thank you for sharing your experience and introducing us to this beautiful part of the country. 👍
Thanks for posting these, and the quality is top notch. They brought back so many memories from hiking this trail. I’m just a little jealous because it rained every day of my hike and it looks like you didn’t get any.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed them and highly recommend the trail! The FarOut app (previously guthook) now offers a cheap foothills trail map option that was not available when I put this series together, if you are looking at map options.
Mesmerizing capture of the FHT! I thru hiked it last month, it was quite the spectacle. Ah, Heartbreak ridge, one of the most enjoyable climbs lol. I'd like to return and hike East bound from Table rock as I believe it's a bit more difficult. Thank you for the amazing video! #hikeon
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching! If you’re enjoying these you may also enjoy the format of my recent CDT thru-hike series, though that hike covers a very different region/terrain.
Just did the GA portion with my 2 labs and 2 friends. We did 40 miles and was my first weekend warrior. I had so much fun. Couldn’t of ask for better weather too. We started at the SC/GA boarder and hiked around 16 miles south to southeast to Martin creek. Then day 2 hiked 6 towards war women and then another 10 to camp at Dicks creek. Day 3 did another 8 miles along the Chattanooga river. My labs did better than me 😂
