I feel for the refugees and innocent civilians displaced by war. In my humble opinion, refugees and displaced civilians fleeing or caught up in the bloody civil war in Myanmar should be able to relocate and resettle over to the vast resourceful Australia & New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region. In fact, around 90% of Australia/New Zealand are completely empty. Moreover, the vast majority of the population in Australia/New Zealand, tens of millions of Europeans were from all over Europe brought in over to the Asia-Pacific region. Colonialism and Colonization are evil things done by evildoers.. For instance, here in Singapore, a tiny island with 6 million souls lives like sardines in a can, elsewhere in nearby vast bountiful Australia which is ten thousand times 10,000 bigger with a mere 27 million inhabitants. A similar situation in tiny and packed Japan, which is running out of space and land. Do you know that their living room and bedroom are the same place and that most Japanese people sleep in their living room?
When the barber asked for Ks1000, the trishaw driver told the barber to ask for Ks2000 from you. Plus, the cost of riding shouldn't be more than 4000Ks based on the distance you travelled and the waiting time. The driver asked for Ks15000 which is ridiculous. That was dishonest of the trishaw driver. I know the amount you were scammed was not much. You should ask for the price in advance before you buy something if you don't want to get scammed. (I'm a native speaker of Burmese, living in Yangon)
Me too, really wish to meet him but I don't think he would come to Mandalay at this current condition. My bad, he is probably gone by now! I saw his bangkook to Yangon flight date is at August.
this is a good reminder that the government is not a reflection of the people who live there. These people seem very kind and willing to help someone who is foreign and hard to understand
Yeah, there's some grenades being thrown around here and there and some arrests from the millitary to try to get u to the frontlines.But for foreigners, it's mostly safe.😁
If you really want to know if it's a clickbait title or not, spend some time there with real civilians of Burma who are fighting against the military government.

@@yvettedale6072 in a lot of places in the world, dogs are really scary and really mean. Idk how they are in this country, but all my friends from Nigeria legitimately have PTSD from dogs. You really stop seeing them as beautiful animals when they form packs and attack people. Breaks my heart as well, I'm just trying to explain why this behaviour exists.

I felt the tension throughout all the video. My impression is that it's a place where people are just surviving/existing, or waiting for better days. People have a certain air of fear. This country is beautiful as someone who just recently got a passport and has started to travel I cant wait to see more of the world around. The places are beautiful but its the people in these countries that are the true gems they can teach you so much if you just take the time to listen and learn.

The reason why life is so normal in the streets is because the military and the police have their hands full with the rebel groups in other regions in Myanmar

My bad, I supposedly visit Myanmar this month but I excluded it instead went to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.. One day I will visit this country. I have Burmese friends who are very kind.
