He had to remind himself of that as well. He took his eyes off of men who intended to kill him to look at the notification. Had he not been level 21 after the spider, that blast could have hurt him badly. He was chastising HIMSELF for being complacent, and forgetting where he was. He had grown to used to being in danger all of the time that he had become numb to it. He also had to remember only the strong survive and the weak get killed and discarded.

you can spend all the time in the world to process a scene reading the manhwa, here as you can see the animators don't have such leeway

Plus, you can always pause the show to read the window panels as they pop up to grasp their full script.

​@Emiichoco Nah that's a problem. You can slow down the shot where the screen appears. Slow mo or whatever you gotta do, it's all tricks you can use. I think a slight adjustment to the scene would have worked better. Also he says "your magic is annoying" and kills the magic guy who hit him first, then chopped him into cubic bits. Would have preferred that too. Show is still FIRE don't get me wrong, but these are just nitpick I have. Very small nitpicks, but the screen popping up thing I think matters

@@Emiichoconot really? The skipped past him gaining his skill that lets him be immune to status ailments and his “Sprint/Dash” skill which he learned in episode 3. In episode 5, they skipped the part where the system warns him that there are “lizards” which gives more insight on the system and makes you ask why is it trying to protect and warn him and also skipped the part where he says “they are the Lizards.” During this episode, they zoomed through his full recovery whereas in the manwa, jin woo stopped and mentions that he didn’t accept his rewards from the daily quest, which the way the anime shows it makes it look more like he just pulled that one outa nowhere, same with the dash skill. They skipped important small details just to fit in stuff that wasn’t even in the Manwa. Anime still fire af tho but those things are important

Is there lighthearted/ comic relief later in the series? I haven't read the comic so idk.

Even if there was a unlikely chance he'd live and he wasn't has powerful as he was, theres still a chance he could've lived, the system just told him if he doesn't kill them, not even try to escape or get out the system would kill him. The system isn't "good" it just mostly uses the "player", read the manwha.
