a random blessed box gives "the player" something he wants and a random cursed box gives the player something he needs, that's why he got the key to that dungeon, where he can get the elixir of life for his mother
Some clarifications. 1: Not every monster in a dungeon matches the tier of the dungeon. We never got told exactly in the manhwa but most people seem to put Cerberus at either high B or early A 2: The -20% damage is a reduction in damage he takes. The poison from the Snake Boss gave a defensive buff but it damaged your muscles for -35% strength debuff, but his passive removed the debuff leaving him with just the extra defense. 3: He doesn't passively regenerate limbs or anything like that now. He got 2 rewards from the Courage of the Weak quest aside from the system as a whole. The first one was a 1 time immediate full recovery that grew his limbs back. The second is a passive buff that cures him of poisons, diseases, and negative status effects after a short time as well as allowing him to recover more quickly, especially when he sleeps.
This episode shows he received 2 rewards from the double dungeon. The 1st one was a one-time reward that basically made his limbs grow back. And the 2nd one is a long lasting buff (perhaps until he dies) that improves his regenerations and grants immunity to toxines.
Cerberus is high A-rank minimum. That's a fact, not speculation, confirmed by the maker of the manwha. SJW only beat him because of his buff against beasts, the system, and his full recovery.
*_A few things you may have missed_* 1) Cerberus is not a boss he is just the gatekeeper basically a random mob and he is classed low A rank. Side Note; I know it's confusing but the rank of the dungeon does not correlate to the mobs and bosses in the dungeon. The rank of the dungeon is determined by the total amount of mana creatures and bosses inside it emit collectively (they mentioned this a few episodes ago). So you can have an A-rank dungeon that has hundreds of c rank mobs and one high B or A-rank boss OR you can have a few low B rank mobs and one High A rank boss in both cases it will probably still be classed as an A rank dungeon. Also Ranks in his instance / personal dungeons are usually harder than stuff in the real world. Take it on a case-by-case basis As you get higher the gaps between ranks are insane. This is why they showed you Cha Hae last episode, people who have high potential in Hunters guild placed in a team to do an A-rank dungeon that couldn't touch an A-rank boss and Cha an S-rank one-shot it. Even within S rank, you have massive gaps of power as big as from c to A ( there is more to this but that's spoiler territory) 2) When he is below 30 % health he gets the Willpower buff that makes him take 50% LESS damage. In total with the Kasaka venom and will power he was tanking 70% less damage while his hp was below 30. 3)The poison potion he took made him take 20% LESS physical damage at the cost of 35% strength but because he has immunity to poisons from Kandairu's blessing it negated the negative effect of that potion because it is classed as a poison. Also, he has stupid amounts of strength so he can afford to lose it but it doesn't matter his passive negated the poison effect 4) When Berserk/ rage mode ended for Cerberus Jinwoo cut the throat of 2 of the heads. the delayed damage from the berserk took effect when the buff dropped that's why one of the eyes exploded. He had to stab the 3rd one in the eye repeatedly to get the kill Something else to note Jinho did not threaten Jinwoo in the manhwa and novel he basically promised to never reveal his secret even if Jinwoo won't help him. I don't know why they did it that way in the anime. Jinho is a good boy.
That venom he drank had a -20% physical damage buff, with a physical power debuff, but it was supposed to say +20 physical RESISTANCE! Remember the passive skill that detoxes him? It literally eliminated the debuff while maintaining all buffs.
I forgot about this chapters from the manwha, next couple of episodes things get more intense it's gonna be amazing....Love watching your predictions, nice reaction guys.
To clear up something about the dungeons and monsters ranks because I feel like people will keep getting confused with those: When a gate is classified as a certain rank, it doesnt mean that all the monsters in it are of this rank (so just because a gate is C rank not all monsters in it are C rank monsters). A gate is classified based on the *total amount of magic energy the monsters in it emenate* (its been mentioned in the first couple of episodes). For example a really big amount of E rank monsters + a D rank boss could make a gate C rank. And a small amount of D rank monsters + a C rank boss could also make a gate C rank. The ants in the C rank dungeon obviously were not C rank monsters (they were probably low D or E rank). But their huge numbers + the fact the the dungeon boss was a pretty strong C rank one, made the gate C rank. I hope this helps
When he obtained the venom from the snake, it said that it damages the muscles causing the player to lose strength, but it hardens their skin, increasing their defense. since he can detoxify he only get the buff part. Cerberus is A low.
Idk will they explain it or they just left it out but in manhwa the different between the blessed and cursed random box is the blessed one gave you an item you need, and the cursed one gives you an item you want
Just like goblins existing in C-Rank Dungeons, weaker mobs also exist in S-Rank Dungeons. I'm saying the gate keeper was not even 0.1% of the instance dungeon. The gate keeper has the strength of a B-Rank Boss or Low A-Rank Edit: these are my thoughts by experience.
The crazy thing is that Cerberus wasn't even S if that was the case Jinwoo would have been dead instantly since he's only at B rank right now, Cerberus was either a very high B rank or very low A rank
the cerberus must've been only a high B rank- low A rank, cause just like goblins in C-B rank there are a few easy kill mobs in some high tier dungeons, the ants in that island is an S class dungeon that failed to get cleared and some ants are weak and others are strong that A-S rank hunters can only kill
😅 the dungeon is S rank but the Cerberus is just the Gatekeeper and its just mid A rank and Jin Woo is upper B during the battle so it aint that much of a difference between them after Jin Woo beat Cerberus his level now is lower A 😁 soon it gonna get interesting since all his opponent after this are either upper A or S ranks 😅so far from all my info collecting this is what i know each rank have 3 tier upper, mid, lower so for example if someone from upper A beat a lower S than that persons level will up by 1 tier on the rank means he will be lower S and Jin Woo's is level rather than tier so it count 3 level equal to lower 5 level equal to mid and 10 level equal to upper when he beat a monster or hunter so like Cerberus is mid A and Jin Woo is upper B so now that he beat it his level increased by 5 that means Jin Woo in between mid A and lower A. So far this is what i know about how the rank are count both in tier and level.
Cerberus is only B rank whereas Hwang is an S rank hunter. So at this point Jin Woo wouldn’t stand a chance. Also it’s mentioned in the manwa. But Hwang is in America.
