SOLO Medals & Super Credits Farm (Helldivers 2) 

Heyo! Somethin I'd learned over the weekend & thought I'd share with the new Warbond out. Anyhoo, remember, no need to do this if you just wanna earn creds/medals the normal way, by just playin the game. It's what I normally do (granted, I play a ton), but you do you. Wanna use it? Great. Don't want to? That's fine.

Something else you can do is once you've found all the POIs, open your map and take a screenshot. Then you can reference that to see exactly where everything is.

A tip for this specific farm, use the slugger as it can break the red and blue container doors

Tip: Wear an armor with a Scout Perk. You don't even have to move. Just mark the map. Eventually, you will see a point of interest.

When you play with friends, you can start the mission immediately after booting the game. Then you give them an invite, and initiate the drop immediately. Your friends will join the session after you landed. So they don’t need to walk past the whole ship to get to the drop pod. Saves a bit of time.

Patched. You'll still be able to do the first one, but subsuquent attempts on the same map will have those pickups yield nothing

Fun fact about the scout armor you just find POIs on your map if you hover over them without actually seeing the diamond symbol. It will say small interest point so you can use that to find the openable crates. Edit: So this function maybe a glitch unsure given the inconsistency of it. I have only been able to have it work with the scout armor so who knows.

the hardest part about this method is finding a good seed for a map with points of interests that drop both medals/super credits, once you get a certain type of reward within a point of interest, that specific reward will be locked. In example: you find a container with req. points / support weapon, that point of interest will always drop req.points / support weapon. Quitting out of the game and re-entering that specific mission will NOT change the outcome. So your goal here is to find a map that has 3/4 points of interest closeby with the right rewards.

This is the first time I've seen a +100 Super Credits deposit. I expected more comments about that.

Depending on the personal order, you can also get that done while doing this farm. That way, you get an extra 15 medals.

who else is just learning that you can break those doors at the POIs and there's been loot you've been missing for 50 hours

you can make this even faster if you remember the location of where the creds are and drop on them. If you find a crate with 2 stacks of super credits, just pick those up, screenshot and remember where to land, land there, rinse and repeat. You can get way more than 500 per hour. I made almost 1000 in one hour doing this.

POIs in trivial missions are always in a circle pattern

I bet the stamina booster would help this go a little faster too

More tips to optimize this, shoot the exploding spore to propel youself to your wanted direction and when you are hurt from the fall damage use all your stamina to run then use stim to recover full stamina,also use the stamina enhancement booster

Correct me if I am wrong, but you dont need to wait for your homies to join back. Just start the mission again and once its loaded for you, tell them to join. That way you skip the entire ship sequence and you got ahead with part of the farm already.

Tip to make this even faster (by seconds), the Slugger will pop those garage doors with a shot.

This doesn't really work anymore cuz for some reason you stop getting the medals and credits even though you're picking them up. Sometimes it starts on the 2nd or 3rd deploy but it becomes pointless to even try cuz neither of them show up in your inventory despite picking them up..

Anti-Materiel Rifle is good for this as well as you can blow up the orange/blue bunker boxes with it, no need to worry about nade ammo.

This is where the Recon Vehicle would be so handy when it launches and make these runs much quicker 😂

If farming in a group, leader should make sure to set the pin where to land before others join, they'll instantly start hellpod animation after joining and don't have to run to the hellpods 👍

I also recommend the grenade launcher, super quick for opening those containers

For my fellow Divers without Trailblazer armor you can scout out missions with the Radar Tower secondary mission which maps out all the points of interest for you and makes the initial scouting a breeze. Not essential but it’s nice to have

Post patches and nerfs, i ran 4 lvl 3 missions, (20 minutes average) and 4 lvl 4 missions, (34 minutes average), to full map clear, (enemy bases and all). The results are i found are that both mission sets provide enough of a challenge to be somewhat stimulating to finish all the way through, averaged 20-30 super credits per run, and 5 medals per run on both after mission completes. With the lvl 4 missions i found they tend to spawn 2.3 friendship bunkers per mission, and 5.3 shipping crate bunkers per mission, with 3 salute POI's per run. However because rares spawn in the loot tables starting at level 4, level 3 runs yeilded higher results for the effort with an average of 2 friendship bunkers per run, 3 shipping crate bunkers per run, and suprisingly 3.5 salute POI's per run. Tldr: if you dont want to brain rot farming and still spread democracy, solo run lvl 3 missions to the full, with 1 or more friends run lvl 4 missions. Lvl 4 missions spawn more POI and drop more samples. Take 2x as long solo to do tho and more friendship bunkers means less results.

okay so there IS a jackpot. My cousin and I play together and we were super confused and wondering if there was an update that lowered the amount of requisition slips you get, because we got like 1000 on our first time picking them up, then the next few days we were getting only 100.

They fixed this.

Are you sure the outcome is randomised for each cache you can find?

Legit did not know you could pick up 100 super credit in mission 😂 I was scratching my head last night when I needed to hit 5 super credits stashes to hit 1000 overall, when after one run I was well beyond that target 😂 had me scratching my head for a minute and thinking nothing more of it! 😅

Good video. I only need 100 super credits for the next content drop and was thinking of just doing level 1 runs, but didn't know you could do the quiting/rejoining thing. I may just run a bunch of random missions though to keep my sanity, even if it is not optimal for the run itself. At least I know I don't need to finish them.

I did this farm just to buy second warbond. Shy of 2 hours of running around the map and collecting stuff and I did it. Worth every second.

Good stuff. I'm a few hundred short and want the new warbond dropping on thursday. Hopefully I can get the rest before then.

The map I got I was doing 15 creds per minute. From alt f4 through my farm and back to at f4 was 2mins. Only had3 locations to hit. Also to note. There is no RNG when you do this. What you get the first time is what you get everytime until you change maps and get a re-roll

Sometimes you can get incredibly lucky with the mission. From what I’ve seen the loot pools at each POI is predetermined as soon as you load into the mission the very first time. Typical spawn rates for credits across a lot of missions are about 20-40. I’ve gone into mission seeds with 80 credits across 5 POIs which is insane. If you are farming you can maximize your credits/per minute by looking for higher yield credit pools

hey, dunno if it's just me, but I can only get 10sc each run even if I pick up 40sc+ each run. I start, run the POI's, quit game, rinse and repeat. Any ideas?

Assuming on PS5 to get out of the mission with the stuff and able to play it again you need to go to home and close app instead of going to the ingame menu?

I have all the war bonds as of now but it takes so long to get medals for them, especially on the last pages

I got greedy. I found a good mission with two Supercredit spots within half a stamina bar. But because there was a friendship door and I'm playing solo, so I thought it was a waste, I tried to find a better mission. Now I can't find any spots that close together again

Returning to ship or abandopning mission doesn't save the medals looted am I right ? Edit: It does but you lose the map.

Punisher Shotgun will open the garage drops too no need for using grenades

What you forgot to mention, its logged in whats inside of the caches. So for your 30 8 you need a close to perfect mission. Mine gives me 20 8 in 4 minutes

For group farming runs, you don't need to wait for them to join in before you drop down, it'd be 0 extra time if you have them join AFTER you're already on the ground

LMAO, I saw this video and saw "Sometimes you can get jackpot 100 credits" I was like woah, I didn't know there is chance to get 100, then i try this strat and on first try I got a 100! LOL

Those cargo doors can be broken with some guns, to speed up more.

it seems this has since been patched out. medal and credits remember that you've picked them up when you quit. so if you go back in you'll still technically find the medal/credits but when you collect them you won't get anything

Can confirm. Works like a charm. EDIT: Once you quit the game a few times, it seems you can't pick up some of the loot. For some reason, I can't get any more credits and medals after a few times.

Hey its not working any more even if you hard quit and try again you receive Super creds but they do not add up to you main cred amount.

When doing it solo the moment he taught me there was a possibility of getting a 100 super credits jackpot, i got it on the first time trying this farm XDDD

PSA: The trick where you directly quit out of the game no longer works. You can still farm super credits as you would but you now have to quit back to your ship instead. This means you can't farm the same instance of your map anymore, you'll have to farm different ones each run. Not too bad but you won't be getting as much because now you'll rely a lot more on RNG to get good maps that have a lot of POI's that give supercredits. Also the slugger doesn't break doors anymore, same for Arc Thrower. You're better off just bringing Grenade Pistol or the GL Stratagem.

This still works but not on the same mission, meaning if you do the same mission twice, the game now knows and wont give you the super credits or medals

Didn't arrowhead fix that already, so you can't save one and the same mission ?

Could also just do the eradicate mission. Takes 3min to finish. Just run to the edge of the map and place turrets and enjoy the show

We call the yellow light beam POIs "Sa-loot boxes." Get it, eh eh?

Well explained, elucidated rng risk, and very much needed tip.. i just spent most of my credits on an armour i really wanted in the super store just ONE DAY BEFORE cutting edge warbond got released..

when you leave the game an get back to you ship immediately load the mission an dive, then tell your friends to join while youre on the way to the first obj as not to waste to much time

I found a map with 4 super credit spawns right next to each other, only a matter of time before I'm arrested for treason

So I guess I’ll just be bored as fuck tonight when I get on! Definitely going to run the hell out of this😂😂😂😂

This method appears to be fixed, though i've not tested how fixed. Loading into the same mission a second time does not give you any more super credits or medals, because looting the same items a second time will simply give you nothing. I've not tried to launch a different mission to see if you can just repeatedly chose to not extract if you don't care about samples/money.

This is gonna turn into a Helldivers channel pretty soon. It's nice to see some variety. Good luck Fallout!

I’ve hard quitted the game, it only ever resets the loot the second time. After the second, you can pick up the loot, but it won’t be added to your inventory, am I doing something wrong???

Has this been patched? On the third run it stopped giving me medals after looting it.

I found a small map with 100 super credits in it. I farmed it with friends making 2,800 in 2 hours

also sometimes I find bunkers that require two people to open... another wasted poi

Great video and useful to gain some perspective on time management. To those wondering if this is worth your time, think about how much money you make at your job per hour. Weigh that against the cost of just BUYING the super creds from the store with real money. It's probably more worth it to just play the game and have some fun while you're at it. Or buy the credits if you make a decent amount of money and save yourself tedious hours of the most boring slog you can imagine.

With a group it's probably faster to just return to ship and launch a mission, rather than quit out of the game and group back up. The maps are so small on trivial that 4 people fanning out in 4 different directions clear everything out so quickly they don't need to know the map layout. Also if you hover over the mini map you can quickly find any undiscovered places of interest.

@Falloutplays Can you verify that this actually still works as of 04/12/24? I've done a lot of farming where you find a location with two caches of medals or sc, grab, reset, grab, reset, etc. I've done this a lot. Today, I get maybe the first grab, but everything else is picked up, but I don't get them (medals, etc). I verified it and ran the same mission 3 times without increasing medals. I swear something has changed..

Tip: if you only care about super credits, try to find a container in a mission that has 2 super credit drops and just spam getting into the mission, dropping exacly where the container is, slugger shot to open the container, quit and repeat. Doing this method i'm getting 800 super credits a hour

You can use the Mech to get into Bunkers Solo, just back up the mech to the bunker and exit the mech, it will force you through the door, then you just interact with the button on the outside of the door and it will pull you back through. Food for thought, I grinded out 1500 credits in a few hours the other day testing some stuff, more people should know this trick, don’t spend money at all on this game!! Instead buy the super citizen bundle and wear that cape with a Grain of Super Earth soil in it!! LETS SPREAD DEMOCRACY!!

Right now on hellmire, raise the flag, i got 6 or 7 points of interest. Walked away with like 15 medals in 5 mins

I kinda do this, but I do it on difficulty 2. That way I can spread democracy proper *and* farm medals.
