Went to the Manx in 09 camping on my own, it poured down all week culminating in a gale, no other campers on the site!, so ended my IOM TT and MGP visiting after the first in 1960 for the MGP, just two races in the whole event then. Love your blogs bringing the memories flooding back.

Hi Norman 👋 wow 1960 I wasn’t even born then 🤣 I think I did right heading home midweek as the Wednesday was raining and racing cancelled but other than that day weather was ok 👍 love the IOM and it’s only my second time visiting, crazy really as I’m only 10 mins from Heysham ferry port. Will be going back for sure but maybe not in TT week explore more. Thanks for tuning in 🙏

@@MOTOUK1 just out of curiosity how long have you owned that tent i will be replacing my vango 350 this year. And it has been such a good tent over the years. What has yours been like in strong winds and rain. I travel on a sports bike so can't be to big realy

😊Just excellent cheers Nick they really do fly down that straight it truly is fantastic to see , and the nerve these guys have to do these speeds on what are ordinary roads at the end of the day deserve a lot of respect for their efforts and should get rewarded a whole hell of a lot better .👍

Absolutely mental speeds. Not had chance to catch up with the recorded ITV4 footage after being on holiday last week Sad that so many riders perished this year. Just don't see a way to make this racing 'safe' Total respect to all the competitors.

Very well organised TT visit and camping kit clearly a winner.don’t think my wife would be happy camping when I purchased my 1st motorcycle after moving over to Melbourne to live she purchased the same bike as didn’t want to miss out on tours.just wondering do you also own a car ?

Normally stay in Peel campsite myself, was there much queues for the showers or toilets in your site, did you have to book in advance and what was the bar like.? Regards Kevin.

Queues were big yes as site was full. I booked in advance yes and paid when I got there £10 a night I think, min 4 nights - bar ok 👌 great viewing point right next to circuit
