Alpacka Raft should come with an Alpaca just like the symbol on the bow, just in case you have to carry the boat to reach your chosen destination over bogs and streams and rocks and all that gear. I would be checking your warranty and sue for false advertising. I think we have a case.....!! Cheers ! Good on YOU for stepping up, WOW !!!!!!!

Loch Shiel is a great Loch to paddle up that way Becky. It not too far along the road you came along to where you were. You can make it a 3 day journey if the weather is with you. Great vid glad you enjoyed it. Stay safe.

ESSAN bothy is cool..my friends grandad or great granda lived there as estate worker way back in early last century...that scots pine tree by the railway was planted in his memory ....massive flashflood there few years back

I'm honestly astounded by this wee lassie , she's Not got the mineral's she said , hell kid you've got Balls of steel if you ask me ,( please pardon my language but I think it's appropriate ) I was ill a cpl of months ago and found you on RU-vid ( lucky me ) as I'd watched all my own list of regulars haze outdoors ( he is hilarious that guy and brilliant ) , grace adventures and Claire wild beare and Ash and obviously our own Scottish mountains and Scottish wanderer and more , I've watched loads of people on RU-vid , kid ..you on the Cape wraith trail the WHW , bushcraft skills you've got are awesome for anyone especially someone so young , is there anything you can't do girl , you have got IT and more , whatever IT is , you have relentless pursuit in such a timid way but you exude great confidence at the same time ..you're video making is fantastic and so natural, one day you're gonna be on Top of the World kid ,a real TV celebrity.. much love and massive respect from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🙏 ps .. you are now an honorary Scot , even though you're from down south 🤣 👏👏👏 🤭😉

Very, very nice Becky. Wind or current alone is not easy to go against, even in rigid canoe or kayak, I can't imagine what it must be like in an inflatable. But you Becky are one awesomely determined young lady, I salute you. I hope you get to fulfill all of your goals and desires this year. That area of Scotland look simply wonderful, hopefully your plans involve it a lot.

Glad you enjoyed your wee stay at Essan and good to see you made good use of the hooks I put on the fireplace. Very inspirational. Been caught out a few times on the way over myself. One thing to bear in mind on the bigger highland lochs is irrespective of the wind direction forecast the wind tends to follow the loch, which has a funnelling effect. Happy travels.

fantastic photography. The drone footage was good and showed the scale of your experience. This was a tough call with the wind against you and cold weather. Good decision. I carried a 50 kg pack when I weighed 70 kg on a mountain trek once....long time ago before all of these advanced materials (we had wool, canvas, and heavy food). I was in good shape but every step felt like I was walking a tight rope and going to fall. We survived and I didn't have back surgery until 30 years later :-) Dan
