As a 35+ year resident of Oregon and a visitor to the coast many times, it was awesome to see your photographs of places I've been to and photographed (poorly) myself. You captured Oregon's natural beauty perfectly!
Hi Brian! I wanted to tell you thank you for your videos! I discovered your channel in January 2022 via your video from Spain when I was thinking about walking the Camino de Santiago. One month later, my country invaded a neighbor. It was the worst thing that ever happened in my life. I had to flee my country to not be a part of it. The last two years have been incredibly painful. A lot of tragedy for the people of Ukraine, devastating news, a lot of guilt for my country. Things don't get better, and back home, things are quickly moving towards the times of Hitler and Stalin. The idea of when I will be able to come back home shifts further and further into the future. And in this tragic world we live in, your channel has been very important in keeping me sane. I know that whatever devastating things are happening around, I always can come here, watch your videos, and dive into this beautiful world of your photography. The peaceful world without catastrophes. The world I can only dream could come one day. The peaceful world, in which I will actually walk the Camino de Santiago. But this world we don't have yet. But at least for the 20 minutes of the video, I can forget about the real world... Thank you very much! I really appreciate your videos.
This is the Oregon Coast I know, gray, rainy and boring. Thank you for your realistic approach. And for not adding presets like every other photographer ever
Love this video - will have to look at your others. Have enjoyed many vacations along the northern coast. I do find the background track annoying, sounds like a badly warped LP. Maybe you just have to be old enough to have owned badly warped LP’s for this to bug. :-)
