Why would you do Steel Rake solo?
It has repeatable quests that will give you a full gold armor set and a gold hat in 4 runs and a gold weapon in 10. These sets, if you exclude AP sets, are the second best stats-wise after Anuhart and will be enough to farm Tahabata. There are two versions for each weapon, one with attack speed and one without. An other incentive is the very high chance to get stigmas. Bosses there, even the key keepers, can drop you the rare stigmas that won't drop in the open world with the current patch we have.
This solo run was done by a Templar level 43 in blue armor and weapon level 36 with shit accessories and no manastones. Thanks to Razy for recording it for me.
Bosses hardly present challenge, but the last one can deal quite a lot of damage and is level 46, so don't expect to beat it at level 42.
If you remember original Steel Rake, then you'll soon realize the mid part was removed. When you enter, you should take the elevator on the right and use it to go to the lower part.
Clean the mobs on your way to where the Genie used to be. You will find what was the SR mid boss before, Golden Eye Mantutu. He drops you an item that does 2k damage in an AOE around you that you can use every 15 seconds.
Behind him is a chest you need to open for the greater stigma quest.
Cruise through the corridors, kill Bubukin the key keeper and go on until you meet Alakin. This guy drops the key to the giant wooden prison cell on your right. Also kill Tantaka in the small room on your left to get the key that opens the next room.
Go down stairs to enter the Brig. The mob here can drop you a gold craft component. There are 2 different ones, if you get both you can craft fu-rin-ka-zan items. By the way, did you know that fu rin ka zan means Wind, Forest, Fire, Mountain in Japanese and was a sentence you could see on war banners ? Elyos and Asmo versions are identical and only differ by their name.
Exit the brig, open the next door and clean around. The next boss is Engineer Lahulahu. You can fight him head on or you can try to avoid the red smokes exhaled by the small chimneys. Take the key from his dead body, open the door and clic the anchor to go on the upper deck.
Destroy the vent cover and walk all the way up to be in the open air. Kill mobs for your quests and get the key for the door that's closed behind you.
For that, you'll have to get the flint from Largimark the smoker to use in the cannon. Once the crowd of shulack is dead from the explosion, run towards Chief Mate Menekiki and his pets. Use your AOE to clean the apes. The blue hat is kind of useless since you'll get the gold one in 4 runs, but earrings are hard to come by at this level so they're welcomed.
Now that you have the key, make your way back to the door. Go downstair, Kill Zerkin the One-eyed for the key. Enter the room, clean the trash and engage Chef Gunner Koakoa. He's dangerous if you don't know the strategy. When he spawns bombs, kill a tiny one and stand on its location until Koakoa is vulnerable again. Aoes from bomb deal a lot of damage and he has some hard hitting skills in Take Initiative and Indiscriminate bombardment. His necklace can be nice and the key will open the door to the cannon that sends you to Grogget's cabin. You are not obliged to kill the mobs around the canon to use it. If you can tanke the damage, go for it.
Kill the last 2 mobs before entering the final boss room. Brasseye Grogget's fight is easier than the previous one. Just stay in melee with him. Once he's low hp, he'll become invulnerable and summon a first wave of 2 adds, then 3. After that you can finish him. The second greater stigma quest chests is here or you can exit directly.
