Rad video! Just came across your content. I used to have a 99’ 4Runner lifted and got in a hit and run and it got ruined. Just got a 05’ Tundra this past weekend and been checking out your videos. The editing and time taken to shoot these shots are definitely noted.

You’re so lucky to live close to a NF. I’m about 4 hours away from campsites. You’re pretty brave to solo camp in snowy conditions too. Nice vid and trip!

Thanks so much for watching! I’m definitely extremely lucky and grateful to live so close to national forest land. It makes it a lot easier to get out for weekend trips when access is so close!

Was hoping for first comment! Gonna chop my fenders asap as soon as my wife heals up. She’s in early labor for a couple days now lol

Yes! Cutting the fenders both looks cool and is a functional modification. I’d definitely be rubbing a lot more if I hadn’t trimmed them. And congrats!

Amazing shots as always. We appreciate you walking through the snow to set up and record your vehicle crossing through fresh snow. Which setup you do prefer? 33s or 35s?

Thank you so much!! I’m loving the 35’s! They perform a lot better off road and feel smoother overall. The only 2 downsides I’ve found are the gas mileage and the Sequoia feeling slow. Both could be fixed with a re-gear but that’s an expensive upgrade so keeping it with stock gearing for now!

Was your sequoia pretty highmilage when you got it? If so how much and how is it holding up? Im thinking about buying one but cant decide if picking up a mint condition one is worth it.

I got mine at 193,000 miles and am at 208,000 now! If it has a good service history, don’t be afraid of mileage. The biggest things to look for are timing belt (needs to be done every 100k miles), frame rust and exhaust manifold leaks.

Do you use regular gas? I use mid grade cause that’s what I read online

I’ve only used regular gas the entire time I’ve owned my Sequoia!
