Soloing Taniks Perfected Nightfall in Destiny 1 (3x)

The amount of players I’ve seen return to destiny 1 is magical. Been speaking to a lot of them in party chats and they all said destiny 2 just isn’t destiny anymore. Just did this nightfall. Got the exotic red death drop at 398 😮

I really wish they'd release all of D1 on PC, I'd buy it in a heartbeat

Coming back to Destiny 1, I am surprised at just how hard some of these strikes are solo-wise

D1 is in such a good state compared to d2 , it's ridiculous. I could easily pick up d1 with a group of friends an replay it from start to finish , while I dread even thinking of starting as a new light in d2

I started playing again recently, soloed this nightfall on my warlock too. Also hung around in the strike playlist for some hours and got really Nostalgic with all the strikes. I even found some random guy during patrol and did skolas with him. Only legends still playing💪 I wish i could do VoG or Crotas end some time in the Future again

The feeling in my soul when I played Iron lords DLC, with the smoke in the iron base (whatever it was called) with the narrator brings a lump to my throat. It was such an under rated game. The feeling of playing with mates to complete a hard raid and then looking for secrets. D2 never had the magic

Purifier was actually dope for a while in crucible, at least I found it beneficial.

I remember when I first started playing Destiny and I immediately thought, “Dude in the tower sounds like Lt Daniels” from The Wire. So I googled the voice actors and I can remember smiling when I seen him. 60 is scary to fall to. That’s comfort age. Sad day.

D1 will always be the superior game

Inspired me to jump back on. Within 30 secs of loading into tower I had a team pick me up for wotm. Just doesn't happen in d2. Don't get it.

I would love for one day be able to play the entirety of the mainline destiny and destiny 2 content consecutively in one game. If one day Destiny 1 was ported into Destiny 2, with its entire campaign intact, and we could play through all of it on the newer D2 engine, from main D1, to Dark below, house of wolves, taken king, rise of iron, the red war campaign, CoO, Warmind, Forsaken, etc... I know this is will never happen from a dev and investors perspective, but a man can dream. People would also be dedicating an entire TB hard drive to one game alone.

Now I will be hunting for one of the nice adept exotics. the captains are harder to deal with than the champions in d2

I love jumping into D1 every so often to just bring me back to the good old days. What I don't love is having to pay for gold to be able to do the things I wanna do. Bungie plz bring to PC I know it won't happen but I can only hope.

Are you planning to eventually solo and upload every nightfall? If so that would be cool (except for your sanity). If not, would it be possible to request at least one video on the Echo Chamber strike? I never got to play that one before I stopped playing the original Destiny.

It's fun going back to D1 and seeing all the shit we take for granted in D2 like healing rifts, barricades, and hunters dogde. For the people who say D1 is better than D2 are the people who obviously only played year 1 of D2 and never touched the game again. You know one Streamer said it perfectly: "You don't miss D1, you miss the feeling of D1"

Zavala is the voice of Destiny. I don’t know how Destiny 2 is going forward, but replaced the Dinklebot and Cayde, so I guess they’ll find a voice for Zavala.

Just made this NF last week. But end up trying D2 free, withouth expansions because D1 wont lett me in tower or pvp. D2 works fine, although hop back in D1 for few strikes, and D1 feels so much better what comes to guns, graphics, strikes. But i think i start slowly play D2 and getting expandsons. And try to find hand cannons like in D1. Its just pitty that D1 does not let in..

Used to love soloing nightfalls in D1. Made the game so replayable. Strikes and nightfalls in D2 just aren't fun and not replayable

Remember getting my first exotic, 2 months after my friends and screaming my lungs out. I then tools days leveling it up as it got stronger and stronger after I unlocked each peek, same with the fatebringer, got it on first try which my mates were trying for days. The weapons were hard to get....and worth getting. Then you have no choice but to level it up, which allows you to play with it. None of the D2 nonsense where they give top weapons away just to please the casuals. I have nearly 98% of the D2 weapons and it means nothing. D1 weapon drop rate was the reason ppl kept coming back

Still like d1 better. Played that game 6,000 hours in 3 years.
