@TAZA PANYAH they were not black. Semites , Hebrews , nor Jews were described in secular history in depictions of paintings , or described in other historical documents as Black. Scripture describes a Nubian, or Etheopian as being black but not Jews .
Am I really the only one whose going to comment something far more interesting than this whole "skin color" BS? Here's the something you probably didn't know: Did you know that Yul Brynner (Solomon) and George Sanders (Adonijah) both starred in Cecil B. DeMille biblical epics before this movie? Yul Brynner was Pharaoh Ramses II in The Ten Commandments (1956) and George Sanders was the Saran of Gaza in Samson and Delilah (1949). Vincent Price was also in The Ten Commandments and he and Sanders both also voiced Disney villains, and played Batman villains.
01:33 - 7:01 is the best bit of the clip to me. You know when a wise king speaks, you listen carefully and in silence, because chances are, a king or anyone else this wise is a repentant man of God.
My favorite story , the story of DAVID FROM THE BIBLE. I LIKE THESE TWO ACTORS OF SOLMON NOT THE ONES IN ONE OTHER VIDEO IT DIDN'T MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME.
They don't even acknowledge the name of the father Yahuwah which he gave has his name forever and his memorial unto all generations so it seems to me that the same spirit that has been alive since the beginning with seek to destroy the name of the most high is still at work today removing the name of the most high from his own scriptures wow it seems that the evil one really has deceived the entire world and causes them to worship The False Image of the Beast which is The False Image that represents the false religious system represented to the masses by the evil rulers of this world which is the so-called Christianity in which the Jesus image is the false image of the Beast system just look at all the confusion in that mess it ain't hard to see
The comments I see are about form not about spiritual substance.Jesus said judge not by appearance but judge by true standards.Skin color isn,t important.

I was 13 when I first saw this movie , when it was new in 1959! I've never seen it since, but from what I've seen here, it was not a very memorable film, except seeing Gina Lolabrigida in her very scanty costumes & knowing it would have been a better picture if Tyrone Power had lived to finish it!
three chapels three general question all life love money voice invisible anweser first chapel one after the other chapel money did not exist in the first chapel there was love without money still in the first chapel the second chapel must not be in conflict with be in conflict with the third chapel first chapel The message was successfully delivered
I love Black culture, but all this making historic figures 'Black' is ridiculous. Solomon was Jewish, Sheba (Bilqis) was Sabean (Arab)... and while we are on this, Hannibal Barca was Semitic too.
Those so called Jewish people are converts, they are from the tribe of Japheth, son Gomer. The are Khazar Russian Jews, gentiles, Luke 21:24. Revelation 2:9 and 3:9. There are no Jewish people in the Bible, Jew is a nick name, of people from the tribe of Judah, all black.
Verse 5 of the Song of Songs, that is the woman speaking. Song of Songs is the dialogue between two, sometimes man speaks, sometimes woman. Their true identity is not revealed. Described is the unknown bride, perhaps Sheba, who speaks of wonders of her relationship with a man she compares to Solomon. But, more aptly, it is about Christ and His Church. In the Gospel Christ compares Himself to Solomon, and Solomon is a name that can be used to describe Christ, as it comes from Hebrew word shalom ("peace").
