I want to like Braun. I agree with his perspective that the wrestling market is oversaturated with a specific type of wrestler (with all due respect, smaller guys who prioritize the moves over charisma or promo ability) and that there needs to be more heavyweights. I also genuinely enjoy his matches and he’s objectively over with a large portion of the audience But man, he really does come across like the biggest jackass on the planet. Guy dunks on working class people, gets fired, and then flounders for about a year before he gets VERY lucky and gets rehired by the same company that fired him because they’re under new management. You’d think he’d have learned some humility from this situation but he goes right back to his antics Guy really just comes across like a massive jerk to put it mildly

You know who you never hear knocking the 'flippy guys'? Brock Lesnar. He's had some of his best matches with Finn Bálor, Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles etc. Brock knows the smaller guys make him look good. Undertaker's matches with Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart were great but he couldn't drag even a half decent match out of Giant Gonzales or King Mabel. Andre didn't like working with Big John Studd because he knew a battle of the bulls made him look less impressive. Maybe Braun should take a hint from three of the most successful big men of all time.

The smaller talents work the way they do (and some big guys like doing flips/etc sometimes too - same way not all small guys do flips: Dean Malenko/Bret Hart/ anyone?) because they ARENT GIFTED to be as big as a guy like Braun to be able to just be like "ME CLOTHESLINE, ARMS BIGGER THAN YOU, SO ME WIN" hulkish work style. He needs those high flyers who are willing to take risk to make him seem like a herculean monster tossing them far out of the ring. wrestling is a industry that takes trust and good workers doing their parts for things to go smoothly. Because they had guys bigger and stronger than Braun who was not nearly as good and only stood a chance with great workers like bret hart and Chris kanyon to make them look like a star. I always remember bret Hart vs Tom magee. They thought they had their next hulk Hogan in Tom magee but it was bret highlighting his strengths and hiding his weaknesses. It takes two to tango and Braun needs to realize that.

Let's face the facts: Strowman can't wrestle. He only knows the basic moves, WWE style, which that's where he was trained from. He doesn't know how to wrestle compared to another big men such as Abyss, Lance Archer, Undertaker and Sid Justice who had better movesets and more agile than Strowman. Strowman is just a sports entertainer/actor pretending to be a wrestler.
