I love a dark limbal ring - it adds youthfulness to the face and is more dramatic when compared to no limbal ring. I also think a dark limbal ring takes away the "vampire" look and makes it much easier to pull off on lighter skin tones. I'm a light skinned strawberry blonde and tend to look "vampirish"with really light contacts with NO limbal ring....
Fonz can you please do a video on the best Grey-Green lenses from all brands you've tried? Colors similar to Quartzo but maybe not so vampire-ish or fake looking. Thanks and love you! ❤
youre my favorite contact lenses reviewer on youtube , every time when i have to change colors i come here for advice , i would love if you could compare all the green contacts ( mel , cambucci green and copacabbana )
Hey Fonz, thanks for all your reviews for LensMe..it really helps. I have dark brown eyes as well and decided to try the Hidrocor Quartzo color. I've only worn colored lenses from AirOptix (brilliant blue, emerald green, Honey and Sterling grey) but wanted to try something new and not pay too much. this will also be the first lens with no limbal ring as all AirOptix have them. so far the Sterling grey looks the most natural on me but still dramatic enough to have people notice. after i try these out i'm looking to get a more "ice grey" color next
Yes! I have not gotten this color in some years. I have recently been getting Ipanema, but so curious to revisit 2021 Hydrcore Quartzo lenses again. Who knows I might try naturals for first time with limbo ring. Thanks for this video Fonz 🙂❣
I think all colors could look much better with smaller pupil hole., specially at day time I don't know why you need big pupil hole. the rimbal ring is nice as well.
Try topazio please both of them I'm a big fan of you like you from Paris Wish you could visit France one-day There is a lot of fancy beaty products include lenses and makeup
I love the light bright natural colors more than hidrocor. I feel like hidrocor makes my eyes look too lizard like and doesn't compliment my face. I wish they had more colored Limbal rings instead of black Limbal rings. Like green/ gray limbals. Great video.
I love «too much». This is nothing in my book, as I usually wear lenses even more brighter than this. More like grey whiteish. I also love limbal rings. If they put both together into one, like the brightness of the Hidro Quartso, but with the dark limbal ring of the Natural Colors, perfection! I have had the Crystal several times, but I find Solotica, as well as Desio to be really uncomfortable on my sensitive eyes for some weird reason.
I was all about NC ICE..absolutely loved them but then 2 yrs ago, they changed the shade😒..I couldn't find any notice or anything on their website saying they were making a change but I bought pair after pair of the Solotica trying to get back to the original NC ICE but it's now a muddy color that looks like grafite and you cannot see the limbal ring and you know they are not cheap...so I left Solotica
They should not have put the thicker limbal ring in naturals, the rest is beautiful like it's same but little more subtle is very good but the limbal ring...👎i dunno how lens maker think putting more of a prominent limbal ring would appear more natural no....Do they not see people with natural light eyes.
People with naturally light eyes actually DO have limbal rings. The limbal ring looks VERY natural in this case. The only time I don't like a limbal ring is if it is a cartoonish solid black. These look nice because they are blended and done with a gradient effect. You should look at more photos of people with naturally light colored eyes, because they definitely do have the limbal ring. There's a guy at my job who has naturally hazel eyes and they def do have that darker limbal ring around them. Then you have women like Tyra Banks, Rihanna, Vanessa Williams, etc all of them have limbal rings around their iris, and all of them have naturally light colored eyes. Without the ring it actually looks more costumish or lizardish. I feel like the only people who think contacts without limbal rings look natural are usually people who don't naturally have light colored eyes, who also haven't taken the time to really study more people who naturally have them.
