I highly recommend Anesthesia's lenses, best for me personally. Air optics are comfortable, but not much colours and not very natural, also pupil hole was big, solotica was the most uncomfortable for my eyes, couldn't stand even the monthly version, that's why didn't buy yearly ones.Bella elite was ok too, comfortable, but not sure if they made them bigger or just some are bigger than other colours
Air Optics and Fresh Look are VERY comfortable. I have been wearing the Freshlook Colors (not colorblends) for over 30 years. I wear have worn them all day, every day (and honestly have slept in them may times even though I know that you aren't supposed to). Since they were discontinued I need to find a replacement. I have tried both the Fresh Look color blends and Air Optics Colors, which look EXACTLY the same as each other, but they do not show up on brown eyes. Hoping that by watching these videos and reading the comments I can find something that works for me!
Fonz! Freshlook pre-dates the 2000s. I wore the violet, grey, and green lenses from 1998 - 2003. They were out on the market well before that. The green was much less textured than the one you have here.
My sister and I have been wearing the Freshlook Colors (not color blends) since the 80s! They were discontinued last year so we ere trying to find something to replace them. I need something that I can wear all day, every day! The Air Optics are very comfortable (although I think that the Freshlook were more comfortable for me) but I don't think that they show up as well as the original Freshlook Blue. Any suggestions?
I wore the Freshlook in the mid 90's but wasn't happy with the look. I got some samples at my last eye exam. I can't remember the brand. I THINK they were Alcon Air Optix Colors. I like them. The green looks very natural on me.
I wore Fresh Look lenses back in about 2000. I never thought they looked very natural. I wore contact lenses for 50 years and last year had LASIK surgery. That was a good decision! I recently ordered some colored lenses and am waiting for delivery.
@alannacbarlow7476 My Hub has astigmatism and had an evaluation the day I got my surgery. He was told he was a good candidate. He was told he would have to use readers (which at 62, he still doesn't need) so he decided to not do it.
Hi! I first want to say that I have watched ALL of your contact videos. I love all of your reviews and appreciate your honest opinions. So here is my problem that I hope you can help me with - my sister and I have been wearing freshlook lenses in Blue (NOT the colorblends) since they were introduced (late 1980s?). We were devastated when they discontinued them last October. We went on the every online contact lens provider and bought whatever we could get our hands on, but know that we will eventually run out! We have worn the freshlook colors literally all day, every day for so long that most people think that we have blue eyes! Our dilemma now is finding something to replace them with. My sister purchased Solotica hidrocor in grafite, which is a very close match to the color we have been wearing, but from all of the reviews I have seen, they are not the most comfortable lenses, and can usually only be "tolerated" for a few hours, like for a night out or maybe for pictures or a social media post. Can you please tell me in your honest opinion, which contacts are the most comfortable to be worn all day, every day? We have tried the air optix and fershlook colorblends (which I heard were also being disconnected), since they are the only ones that we could get from US retailers, but don't love the colors. Wewould love to get your advice on what we should try. Thanks!
Hi, I have the same problem. I have been wearing Freshlook Blue lenses for years and could not find any equivalent. I still don't understand why they stopped it!!! I tried also the solotica grafite but they dry my eyes too much. Airoptix are more confortable but they look fake. I will try Anesthesia, never tried before. You can also test the Swati brand they are more confortables. Regards
Yes, to eveything you shared. I first had freshlook color Blue/ then colorblends blue Also trying Air Optix strling grey. (like) NOT the grey.. After listening to various info channels (fonz is best) & searching on line i have one pair from brand coleyes called "no makeup wed. Grey". I know grey, right? But after trying other brands I was unhappy, So far, these are closest to the blue BUT factor in your natural eye color. Mine is a light/med hazel. Not a fan of green lenses (for me).Coleyes brand do not appear grey out of box. They are far different than colorblends Good luck. Hopefully this helps and always see if Dr approves. Blue lenses from many of these manufacs will appear signifcantly blue & bright, thats why I flipped to trying grey.I prefer authenticity unless for fun!!!Best to you,
I’m ashamed to say how long I watched your videos today.. but ultimately I ended up ordering the solotica jade color. Anyway I would love to see a video of the worst looking contacts just for fun 😅
@@FonzReviews I have air optix colors in color gemstone green and I love them fonz can you do review on gemstone green ones from air optix and freshlook
Hi Fonz! Thank you for your reviews. I rely on your honest reviews before buying contacts. But, it seems like you missed it with Anesthesia. I purchased recently a pair of Anesthesia contacts, and they are NOT FDA approved. It doesn’t show anywhere on the lenses’ box. Did you confirm that information yourself on the box, because if you had you would have noticed there is NO FDA stamp on the lenses’ box.
Fonz. Your natural eyes are dark so the air optix lenses show forth. Was using these in sterling grey first because they show best for hazel green eyes but I was unhappy (formerly wore freshlook). That is how I found you.. I know you love "ana' lenses ,For me, it does make a difference with lighting & your own natural color before deciding but LOVE the professionalism, honesty and viewing we see on you. Grateful for your efforts. Thank you!!!
They discontinued making the fresh look colorblends but in September 2023 so I just got the air optics as of today daily wear They say they allow more oxygen to float between your eye and the lenses so I’m gonna try them out
How are the Air Optics daily wear? I used Freshlook but I am now trying Air Optic since Freshlook is discontinued and the 30 day Air Optics I have are horrible (they are difficult to remove for me and they feel harder than the Freshlook). How are the daily wears Air Optics? Do they feel as soft as the Freshlooks? Are they as easy to remove as Freshlook?
If you look up literally any reviews for every single one of the links in the description, most of them have mainly horrible 1 star reviews, some of them are all 100% 1 star reviews. Can I ask why you're suggesting people to buy from websites like this?
I mean it quite literally does though, it determines the difference between slightly cancerous versus literally blinding you or melting to your eye when you put it on
@foodwithangela You're assuming no other country has regulatory body and also the FDA does not actually regulate, they are bought and respond to lobbyists. They don't reglate anything. Period. The companies submit data, lobby and appeal until it gets forced through. There is literally no regulation involved. None. It's a money and legal appeal game.
Solotica wants way to much money for there contacts both individual lenses cost 41$ dollars I'm most definitely not spending 80$ for contacts I have dark brown eyes and I really wanted those brown contacts to enhance my natural eye color:(
I started using air optix (in green stone green) after using a cheaper Asian brand. It gave my eye more oxygen and were over all better for my eye health. The other ones caused me to have eye infections due to the lack of oxygen.
I find that the smaller pupil size diameter contacts give me a better look but also limits my vision, blurs the edges.. Am I the only one that's dealing with this or do I have large pupils?
When you say up to 6 months, does this mean wearing them straight for 6 months? Can you take them out at night and out them back in the mornings? I hate sleeping in contacts. Thanks!
Oh my gosh thank you sooo much I have been looking for decently made safe contacts that are fda approved and a website I wouldn't get scammed on 😅 thank you! THANKS FOR THE DISCOUNT CODE!
Omg i wanted to see addict blue on you again and you made a video about it! Fonz will you make a video on sunlight for addict blue? It is still okay if you can not :) edit : i bought addict blue yesterday thanks to you!
In my opinion, it makes the contact lens look more real and natural for dark eyes. This is because the bigger the pupil hole, the larger your pupil will look like, making it seem like you have enlarged pupils.
My regular "daily" disposable contacts lasted 3 months. I had to take care of them like regular contacts, but it saved me tons of money in college. So yeah, I think these would easily last 6 months with care. You can't wear contacts non-stop for 6 months, if that's what you thought. I only say that because my bestie swore that she was allowed to wear her monthly prescription lenses for a month straight. She started getting blood vessels on her eyes because sie didn't give her eyes breaks ... something about them needing to breathe(?)
Mystique and Just 4 Kira were very uncomfortable, to the point I couldn't wear any of them. ColorCl have been amazing though. Solotica dried my eyes out.
@@FonzReviews😭 I just ordered a monthly pair. I’ll see. I hate that fake contact look. I’ve read AirOptix is good for dry eyes. If I don’t like them .. I’ll stick with Solitica and Bella( daily)
