Omigoodness❣️Flying can really be overwhelming. I used to love it. It just got too rough for me with the hard to wrangle hydration. Glad you got a place to stay in Houston. Don't know if you got compensated with vouchers for it or not. For all I know you might be trying one of those pod things, (like a vending machine place to sleep). ❤😊 Wishing you better luck next day!
Having a laid-back no rush attitude while traveling can make a world of difference. The last time I flew across country I was in no rush and actually volunteered to get bumped from my flight due to overbooking (I will never understand why that is even a thing) anyway, it worked out that the flight I ended up on they bumped me up to first class. What a treat!
@@DaniMarieAUC all the drinks were free, even liquor and wine.... It was a very long flight and I had ordered a glass of wine to relax and I was expecting to pay the $11 like I did traveling coach on my trip out there, but that's not how it works in first class I guess they figured the price those people pay for the seats the least they can do is give them free beverages. That was nice but the true treat was the hot towel oh my goodness-after an entire day of flights, trotting around airports to make it to the next gate and breathing recycled air my skin felt like a grease pit. The 1st few moments with that towel on my face I felt like the woman in the old calgon commercials!
