With a good forecast for the solstice period, we met in Langdale for a two-day hike over some of the Lake District’s western fells. Our overnight billet was to be on the summit of Lingmell which provided us with an unforgettable experience.

Aye, thanks Sue and Dave. Defo one of THE best summit camps. Yeah, the outro was the result of a very bored day in January when I was faffing around with New Blue Titler Pro. I'd forgotten all about it and thought I'd shove it on the end of this one ☺Happy and safe travels and I'm looking forward to seeing some VF action!! 🤗🤗

Wow! Whenever I'm climbing a mountain I dream about conditions like these clouds dancing in the wind. Not many times I was lucky like this 😍😍😍😍. Mesmerising!

Hi Bart! This was totally unexpected. The forecast was for clear skies but the wind was bringing cloud off the Irish Sea and the western Lake District fells were washed by it. I lost count of the number of brocken spectres we saw. An unforgettable experience 🤩 Thanks for your comments and support. Ian and Meg 🙋‍♂🐶

That was a brilliant watch Ian (had a behind the scenes feel with Dave and Sue ! which is a good vibe 👌🏻👍) landscape well need say nothing there 👌🏻🏔️ But fighter jets spectres had it all mate (loved the photos and the time lapses) Fab nice to see Meg getting back Amorim too 🙏🏼 All the best Simon 🤠👍

What a team! Great hike and camp in the lakes. I've never been to that part of it. What an amazing sunset and sunrise. Loved the cinematography and especially the sunset time-lapse above (most of) the clouds! Hope Meg is fighting fit 💪 well earned pints, hope you managed to work your way through them all!

Caro Ian, ho guardato tutti i video che non avevo visto. Tutti bellissimi come tu sai fare. Ho visto Meg sempre bravissima e sono contenta che sia tornata in piena forma. I'm just back from Scafell Pike. Unfortunately we didn't get such good weather - it rained relentlessly. Even the things in my drybags got wet. A beautiful place in nice weather though.

Hello Ian Where is this place you say has an unforgettable view, and where is it? I quickly checked the mapThat's how my knowledge grows💪 The weather was wonderful this time. The sunset and sunrise were too beautiful for words. Meg was able to walk a very long way. It was a great pleasure. It's bliss to share a wonderful experience with like-minded friends🥰 Oops.
