Any advice on what to do for the remote that keeps unpairing? It works long enough for me to pick a show but then I can’t use the remote as soon as I select something. Been having to repair every five minutes

I was determined not to buy another remote since last year lol! Holding the power button until I saw it pulse worked for me! Then the other steps to the home and back button! Remote may need an update as well! Lawd! Stress lol! Thank you!

in my case the remote didn't re-connect automatically, so I had to use my Google TV app to confirm the remote on the connection menu and then it worked. Thank you for the video instructions.

Thank you for this short video. The steps I did: disconnect power then after 5 seconds, plugged back in, then once in it's usual page, press that button in Chromecast once then do the thing in the remote for back and home button pressed together until the lights pulsing then that's it.

Thanks fantastic tutorial. Very helpful for me. The only thing I haven't found in the chromecast is the way to size the screen to fit it with the borders of the TV, screen scaling. Calibrate display Is called on fire TV stick settings. I can't find it on chromecast with google tv... Any help?

@@dpirate doesn't work. The only way I can do it on chromecast with Google tv is through your TV settings. It doesn't have a dedicated option. Shame on google.
