Since language arts is the longest, that one’s good to do by itself. But some like to do science and social studies together since those are shorter. Then you could save math for last 👍🏼
Glad it helped! 🙏🏻 For that last one, you'd basically just plug in the x to both sides of the equation and only one answer will result in both sides being equal. Hope that clarifies a little!
If you plug in -4/3 for x on the left side, you'll get 40/3. If you plug in -4/3 for x on the right side, you'll also get 40/3. Since both sides are equal, this must be the correct answer 👍🏼 If you tried to plug in any other choice, like option A, replacing x with 3/4 on both sides, they will not be equal, so that will not be the correct answer. Let me know if that helps at all!
An equation is like a scale, where you want both sides to be balanced, or equal. When you “solve for x” you find the x value that makes both sides equal. But instead of doing the steps to solve for x, we’re just testing what happens when we substitute different x values. The one that makes both sides equal must be the answer. I hope that helps a little! Here is another way to solve them! How to Solve Equations on GED ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A9Sgx3q7mPk.html
