Thanks for this option but it didnt work. Not that I disagree with you, these steps are contrary to what steps to follow on the troubleshooting steps (numark). I did everything to get my Numark NV6II Controller to work. Keeps saying "Hardware Cant Connect to Serato DJ Pro" did all the updates/install of programs and drivers. Nothing! program works, but my expensive controllers doesnt. Ready to throw it against the wall.
Sorry..!!! am trying find if you controller (Numark NV6II) supporting serato dj pro but I didn't see there you can see all hardware supporting serato dj pro here serato.com/dj/hardware. Try to use software supporting that hardware. or Let me know more error from you

@@djjoman I forgot to mention that Serato DJ Pro cam with the purchase. my mistake, its a Numark NS6II which is on the link you shared. I'll look into this link. The stupid this is, I should be able to follow the instructions that came with the controller and just plug and play after all the installs.
@@djjoman Yo Dude ! I just broke down and bought an Asus laptop with 16MB Ram with i5 processor lol ! I followed the steps as per and it works good ...controller and serato pro. Previously, I tried to use (controller/serato) on a Dell Desktop with i6 processor/16MB Ram which I use for my video editing program. Not sure why my gear never worked properly with that desktop, cause the specs were all there. None of which was AMD processor. All I can chalk it up to be is that my Numark Controller wasnt jiving the Desktop aspect and preferred the laptop version lol.
Hi bro thanks for the information.I got ddj srt 1000 and my software is serato pro and my mixer doesn’t work properly a lots of features are not working I followed your steps and lastly I tried to do “set as default communication device” but it’s not listing on my pc there are test,disable,show disable sections etc.. what can be the problem thank you
if am not wrong means when you connect you controller on pc you can play song on serato But some feature not working...!! if is that try to use virtual dj, if it working on virtual dj you need to reset MID MAPPING on Serato Every thing will be ok. But if not working on Virtual dj that is technical issue in you controller>>> TELL ME MORE
So I have a Pioneer ddj sb2 and Serato Pro and it’s worked fine for years. Yesterday I updated my Serato software and now Pro won’t recognize my controller I know the controller works because I have no issue using it with Serato Lite but whenever I open pro it just won’t connect to the controller I tried to update my drivers, I 100% have a paid pro account so that’s not the issue Any ideas?

I purchased a used Numark Mixdeck N382 (non-pro) - I can't seem to get the power up or light up - I'm so pissed off as I should of double checked the controller powers up - but I trusted the seller based on marketPlace he had a good rating,.. some good that would do me now !! This Numark Mixdeck looks decent as it can play from CD/MP#/DVD/Ipod ect Cool But it doesn't do me any good - it Doesn't power on or lights up Connected with a USB cable to my MACbook air - Installed the proper drivers and software both Serato and VirtualDJ - no detecting the USB or the controller Did I buy a LEMON ? Sorry for the late reply to your comment, Am not mac users but I what i know that controller made for Traktor pro 3, mean can work without problem, so try to check your cable or try to use on windows pc if working means the problem is your mac

hey my mixtrack pro fx still doesnt work even with the right software (serato dj lite) it hasnt been making noise or responding for a yr now and i dont know what to do
try to check if its hardware issue or computer issue, So take your numark then connect to your smartphone charger through USB but make sure that charger is 5v out put, if still bring that is hardware but if not, that is computer issue
When I try and connect my Pioneer DDJ SB2 Turntable to my Mac the lights on my turntable turn on but on Serato it says Pioneer DDJ Hardware is connecting and it will take up to a minute And it never works. The driver is fine and it can’t be the hardware so I’m not sure. Please help!
Please make sure that your using Serato Dj that supporting pioneer sb2, you can try to test with searo dj lite to see if working, if not working also try to see if your computer has processor and Ram that allowed to be used on your dj controller. You can identify the processor by reading it in the controller box or in the manual use book.

@@djjoman It says "PIONEER DDJ SB2 is connecting. This may take up to a minute". Then I wait a while(over 30 min) and it doesn't respond to my software at all. I'm going to try Serato support to see if they can help me out
