Can you do this for windows please. I'm having the same issue but on windows. I have rekordbox and my ddj sr connects fine. When I go to use serato it says fails to connect.

this was a really helpful video! ive been having thos problem for over a year not knowing how to fix it! but now i have another problem, i only get one of my turntables to work. and its strange cause they are both connected exactly the same and have the same settings. or maybe i missed something in the software. any idea what it can be?

I take it this only works for controllers. I can’t connect but I’m using cdjs and a mixer. I did what you said but still no connection.

If you are using CDJs and Mixer,then u have to add extra hardware called (Serato Scratch Live)..that will allow you to install the drivers...if you can tell me the name of your mixer..!!

Hi Henry,Thanks for your feedback...First use your headphone to check if you can hear any sound after pressing play button on your countroller..dont forget to upload a sound and make sure that all the CUE buttonon the mixer channels are on..Increase the volume knob of your Headphone...and the final part of your situation is also to check the output cable (RCA-SLR) that connects your controller to an amplifier or your studio monitor....Hope to hear from you after trying this...Stay safe 🏡😷

Try to get a new cable that connect your laptop to your controller and try the procedure again …sometimes it can be a cable problem

Sorry, but you gave in over 10 minutes only 1 short tip, which does not work to fix my problems. So you spoke about the first step only, to solve the problem and the guys who have connection problems have to do lot more of this 1 point. My suggestion is to look after a more qualified helping video on RU-vid.
