I will try to have the g sensor off later. It seemed that when i plug it to my power bank, it doesn’t have an issue of turning on and off. I’m not sure if the proprietary car charger is sufficient Either way, this gave me ideas to tinker settings for
I bought a new SD card yesterday formatted it in the dashcam and my camera is fine. No more on and off problem. The directions specifically say format in the dash camera not on your PC.
Yes, you are right . some dashcam when you insert new SD card , it will require to format the SD card . Some models can be format on the pc and insert to dash cam
You mean turn off screen when driving ,right ? You can check your dashcam setting to see whether there is a screen saver or Back light option , you can set it .
@@joylauwificamerafactory3265I thought could press the power button just to turn off the display while driving. Sometimes it gets annoying when i hit a bump & the display turns on & I have to wait for thw screen saver to shut off. Lol
My Minolta dash cam turns off and tell me the battery is low! How? I have it connected to the car. I already deleted the files on card too. So I don’t think it’s that.
it seems the battery connection has problem . If you have connect to car charger while driving ,the power from the car . Low battery means it didnt connect to your car charger
i had no spare sockets for my dog n' bone so what i did was get a multi-port charger for in the car so i had two spare sockets and then got a 4m juicebitz usb to mini b cable and fixed this in its place instead... much thicker and powers on instantly... crappy cables made it turn on and off - nothing to do with the card. Just dont connect it to a USB/AUX socket i didn't know but these are only 500ma maximum.... it needs more power or switches on and off all the time because its not powered, only data power apparently.
my dash cam screen goes blank while it's recording? and when i press any button the display comes back on and then after 1 minute the screen goes off again, can you help
That is the hardware issues, something may wrong with sensor or screen . .Sometimes it may occur on some dashcam .I saw that on some dashcam before ,usually need return it back to factory to replace some parts . You can try check whether it influence the video .if it have influence on the video , we suggest you ask them to replace it .
Can you tell me why my dash cam just record one minute and then start recording minute and again and again. Can you tell me why?. My sd card is not full why it just record just one minute?
bro ,it is is the basic loop recording function for every dashcam . You can enter setting to set loop recording time . But I suggest you turn on it ,set 1 minute or 3 minute .
Your camera will still be recording even if your screen goes off. If you want the screen to remain on all the time you need to turn the backlight off 0 in settings.
no battery or low battery .The dashcam only have 180.mah battery . In the hot weather , if the battery is too big , that would be dangerous . Now , more and more high end dashcam not use battery anymore . They use the super capacitor to replace the battery .
Loop recording means when sd card is full, the dash cam then records over the first recorded files and so on.Camera shouldn't stop recording because sd is full, once you have Loop recording on, in settings.
Mine does not work. Loop recording is on and all settings are set on factory default setting but when SD card get full the camera stops recording. The G sensor is off, parking guard is off but it doesn't overwrite yet. I've tried a new SD card but nothing changed 😞
@@joylauwificamerafactory3265 thanks for your response, to be honest that's what I always do . I format SD card each time it gets full. With 1080p video quality its storage gives me only 1:30 hours recording but if I don't stop driving ( leaving camera On ) it will overwrite on old files, when I turn off the car (camera) it stops recording for next time and I have to format it again. ( For example: there is Storage for 1:30 hours recording , I drive the car and use Dashcam for 2 hours, in this case recording will continues but if I turn off and then turn on the car camera won't record until I format SD card)
@@ariokavan7832 Hi friend ,you can turn off the G-sensor function . I guess it may due to the G-sensor is too sensitive ,create too many locked file . The locked file can not be overwrite by camera . Otherwise , the camera firmware have some unexpected issues . I suggesst you can try turn off the G-sensor and parking mode . waite to see the feedback , thanks.
most of the car dashcam create very big size video during you use it . As we know , at initial time , car camera is mainly designed for record accident video which is just within 1 minutes . If you want record the long trips, you shall buy a dashcam support 128GB card and support real H.264 , that can record long footage .
