My maths teacher took 45 mins trying to teach this to the whole class and no one could get properly and I understand within 8 mins when u teach it Keep up the good work
Dude for real. I've been struggling in my class all semester and then I found this guy and now I feel like the Patriots did when they came back in Superbowl 51.
YOU TOO!! LOL.. He gives us 2 examples.. we ask for another one, says " u gonna learn by doing" how in da world is that possible when u don't understand it at all. This vid is good enough for getting me started back
Same! My teacher literally yells into the speaker during zoom and on the lowest volume my ears bleed lol. So i’ve resorted to simply watching tutorials online.
@@xxfisherxxdonut7858 you use this formula in calculus and other higher level math. And calculus is definitely used in the real world. You might not use the quad formula to directly solve a problem, but it’s part of a much bigger formula that’s used to solve something. And you can’t do higher level stuff without knowing the lower stuff too
Yeah haha Sam with my teacher! Thank you so much, I had no idea hiw to do QUADRATICS and after a few of your videos I think I got it! Btw I have a common core math regents tomorrow lol. Thank you so much!
The only question we always ask our teachers. And the answer is that it doesn't solve anything but improves your decision making and processing/remembering of information, and applying information to other information (putting something together).
Reality, IT HAS NO USE IN EVERYDAY LIFE. However, this is the only subject that will help develop your logical thinking skills, ability of processing different scenarios and or data, develop decision making skills, making connections on different matter, and analyzation skills . Just like life, you tend to do this sort of skills everyday.
If you go into science or math you would totally use it though. www.quora.com/What-are-some-examples-of-real-life-uses-of-quadratic-equations sciencing.com/everyday-examples-situations-apply-quadratic-equations-10200.html plus.maths.org/content/101-uses-quadratic-equation-part-ii www.montereyinstitute.org/courses/Algebra1/COURSE_TEXT_RESOURCE/U10_L2_T1_text_container.html www.dummies.com/education/math/algebra/applying-quadratics-to-real-life-situations/ www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/quadratic-equation-real-world.html it's kind of a silly question actually
Alvin Mella i keep saying that after our teacher teaches us a new topic😂😂. That math like this isnt a use to everyday stuff. Its hard for people who wont be studying stuff with math. My future career is far from math😂. And math and other subjects can fail a person whose goal doesnt revolve around these stuff😂😂😂
Thank you so much, there's only one tutor at my school and she doesn't care about the students at all, she especially doesn't like me since I'm slow to pick up some things. Thank you!!
When you don’t play attention in class so now you gotta find a RU-vid video to help you cause if you don’t you’ll fail and won’t get the credit to graduate and then you’ll be homeless and can’t get a job all because you can’t do the quadratic formula 🙂
Thank you so much, I done this in year 10 for the first time today and my brain was all over the place but now I understand it. Thanks again. Subbed 👏🏾
Can I ask questions? How to identify the values of a, b, and c on this quadratic equation 1. x²-x+3=4x²-5 2. x+3=(2-x)² 3. 3x(2+2x)=x(5x-5) 4. 2x²+x(x-2)=7 Thank you for answering this questions.
you'll need to simplify and change them so that they are in the form of ax+bx+c=0. if you can't, then there are other ways to factorise and expand and simplify those.
Study pug is actually amazing, it helped so much but its like $25 a month, i guess its worth it because they break it down like a tutor, and it would cost more to have a tutor idk
wow this is very impressive vid. I found the question you presented hard but the way you explained it, threw all those troubles away, i even learn't something knew!
FINALLY! I've been looking everywhere for a video that explains how to simplify complex squares at the end. Kahn Academy actually messed up and then didn't explain it lol. THANK YOU!!
It can be solved in an easier manner. 2x^2 + 2x - 5=0 Lets write the coefficient of each term of the quadratic equation such as a = 2(coefficient of x2) , b= 2 and c= -5 Now , D = b2 -4ac i.e. D = 44 Since , D > 0 Therefore, The given equation has real roots. Then, √D = √44 = 2√11 Now , Using the quadratic formula We can get the answer
This is a good video, but how would I go about creating a parabola for this equation? Can I just replace the 0 with y to find a y-intercept, vertex, and axis of symmetry? If not, could someone please explain how I would?
Am I the only one who's studying this over the summer, before starting Algebra 1 in the fall? Probably, but I'm only in eighth grade, and I want to be prepared. Wish me luck!
***** Thank you for your comment, Prince Rhem it is very kind and considerate. It is completely accurate and does describe me perfectly. Why, you should get an award for the immense thought process it must take to come up with such a poetic, empathetic thing to share with a fellow person.
***** I don't really think that this is spam (considering some of the bull that most people will post in the comment section of anything), but thank you for that, I guess.
So we have this higher math in 7th grade for the smart math kids so I have always liked math and this helped a lot. They are learning this now but I want to catch up to them since my math is a bit too easy rn
Thank you so much, I’m failing my classes and I am struggling to get them up before the end of the year. This is very helpful and very easy to understand :)
I'm about to stop listening in class and start learning online. Thought I understood this, took a quiz and bombed, now I come to this and it's the easiest thing.
An example of an algebraic expression is 5x + 6. Here 5 and 6 are fixed numbers and x is a variable. Further, the variables can be simple variables using alphabets like x, y, z or can have complex variables like x2, x3, xn, xy, x2y, etc.
i need to thank you for speaking coherent english in your video. in this topic i get to many people who know the subject but lack the ability to speak and be understood by english speaking people! so thank math
u are the best i cant even understand what my math teacher is talking about and are the man u showed how to do it and i understand it thank u man thank u
Everybody here complaining about their math teacher while mine literally answers every single question we throw at him as fast and simple as possible. Asks if we have questions often and actually stays _overtime_ to answer any inquiries we have. :P
When my teacher explains this math I had no idea. I tried to ask for help but there were many other students so then I thought of researching more into quadratic formula. I was kinda expecting quadratic formula to be hard but after watching your video I understand it now!
Thank you! I needed help with the last part when you simplified it at the end, all the other videos I've seen didn't have this scenario where you can divide the common factor.
I'm in year 10 and I am freaking out about GCSEs and everything and how covid-19 is gonna affect grades and im doing maths non stop and this really helped. Earned yourself a sub :)
I love the way u teach bruh my teacher would go all around the globe to teach the one thing and u just stay untop of the globe n done in a minute wow thanks i love you because you make me finish my homework
