iCloud and iTunes are 2 different things. You may have another email attached as your iTunes email. You can remove that and then put the iCloud gmail address as your new one.

So Apple has nothing to do with Google. That being said, Apple stores you new photos in their cloud whereas Google stores the photos you took with an Android in their cloud. I can see why someone might think they cross but what you are confusing is that you think the email is the account whereas the account is the company. You can have one email for each company and yet have two different accounts.

I assume you mean, if you buy an app on Android will it transfer to Apple because you used your Gmail to make the Icloud account. If that is what you are asking, no. Apps do not go from one platform to another. That would be like buying a program for windows and it works for apple Macbook. Typically you have to buy the program for both or in this case, the app.

Yes you should be able to. You may just have to go to the email of your iCloud email and verify the account to set it up but I’d think you could. Sadly you can not convert an email into something else. You can use email address forwarding but iCloud may not allow that, not sure.

IPhones use imessages for communication of one I device to another I device. If a user is not using an iPhone, there is no way to make imessages work for a non I device. Only option would be a free text app like textfree.

It would be the same identical way. You’d need to use a different email or simply try again another day. You can always contact the apple company for help as well with the lack of verification.

Thank god I watch your videos. In the back of my mind I had the idea that the device itself was programmed to that iccid and another sim obviously won’t work. So I saved my old iccid in notes for some reason and updated with a new iccid, “for no reason, being stupid ....” and it threw me into activation state. And didn’t want to work because now I have to update to 13.3.1. I tested it by using an updated phone and that iccid works. So I switched it back to old iccid and it works. So happy I didn’t lose jailbreak . And so happy I’m an idiot who got lucky . Impossible to jailbreak an xs max on 13.3.1 so yeah

Cellular Helper so if a phone is already unlocked. And for some reason you try to update iccid like I did. For no reason apparently , only because I’m an idiot lol. Then your phone will need to be updated to newest iOS? Unless of course you written down the original iccid it was used to unlock

Yes that should not be an issue on any iDevice.

That means there is already an iCloud account using that email.

Yes exactly. Now I have done the same thing myself and I can access my gmail email either through the gmail app or even the email app from apple and as for the purchasing, it works the same way, even though it asks for an Apple ID, you are making the Apple ID a gmail email instead of an icloud email. You are just talking the difference between a .com is all, and Apple a few years back allowed us all to start using other emails other than having to only use an icloud.com based email.

@@cellularhelper7876 also will it still say put in your apple ID in when you dowload an app and all I do is just put in the @gmail that I created as the iCloud account

@@tristino7o Yes that would be all you have to do then. You can always take that off from making you login each time but I prefer that on incase my nephew or someone gets on my phone, so they can not just download and charge money to my cards lol
