I also didn't want to be the one to tell you how much cheaper they are at Harbor Freight Tools--aka "Chinese Freight Plastic"--but on Amazon they are also a lot more; I think I paid around $60-70--no more than that I hope, it was somewhere around there, which was too much, anyway, once you open it up. I also didn't open mine for about a year after buying it but I do that because I have no idea how anything works, anyway (after some online sleuthing, I know now, though; what I also know is the alarm could be going off at this moment--it wasn't staying on green for some reason, despite being charged all night--but I also let it nearly die, forgetting about it entirely, and it came back somehow: My part should be here in a few days--that's what I'll tell all the people losing it over the alarm).

A trip to Hechinger's--hardware seemingly more vital, complex, and possibly, certainly much more eventful than boring groceries--was always looked forward to; it was a big place, with lots of stuff big and small, a place where real men who knew what they were doing and what they wanted bought items like steel and lumber--but if the Old Man didn't get waited on first--despite being first in line, we'd wrap ourselves in sandpaper and climb in a bathtub until it blew over (a trip to Ace Hardware was often "'Ace' isn't anything like the old 'Hechinger's"').
