Maybe try this first: Hold the "control" button immediately after launching Logic Pro. Toggle "Don't start". If it is actually working - it's probably your audio interface. That's what I experienced. ( Updating the driver - if available - will fix it eventually)
Hi man, I'm unable to delete those three folders that are inside the Plug-ins folder in Library. Moreover, I found that all three of them are empty. I have a ton of virtual instruments and VSTs so that should not be the case right? Logic is extremely troublesome these days, sucking away the joy of producing and I've even considered moving to Live, but I want to get to the bottom of this!
Didn't work for me and keeps saying Logic pro is damaged and can't be opened and keeps asking me to delete and send logic to Bin. Any idea how to fix it?
hi. need your help. i was on logic pro 10.7.5 and it was ok. i upgrade to 10.7.7 but as from then, i keep getting error initialising coremidi. i revert back to logic 10.7.5 and i keep getting the same error. i even format my cmacbook and reinstall the os but got the same problem. whats funny is that i got the same os on my mac mini and the same version of logic (10.7.7) but i dont have any issue. both are 2012 apparatus and both are on ventura. can you please help me to solve this problem. thxs
I tried this and I have no idea if I screwed myself even more or if I have a different issue than you anyway. Looking all over the place and can't figure it out. When I open Logic, if thinks it's the first time. It also doesn't locate my sound files in existing projects so that's a mess. And all my midi sounds are trash. They just sound like generic organ sounds. Have no idea what else to do. I've tried it all.
Hey, i have a different problem I am facing with my logic pro x. whatever inst or mic i connect to my interface gets recorded distorted / cracked. I checked multiple interfaces but logic has the same issue. it works perfectly with garage band. Not able to figure out the issue. Please could you help me here. Thanks a ton.
Great video, my man want to open logic, but I believe it crashed on me because the Beachball is ever present… What can I do to resolve this? I am not on logic Ventura I believe I’m on Monterey, but I have a Mac mini M1 and I’m using logic pro 10 10.7.4…..
I tried this and lost all my plugins in logic pr now. I didn't delete folders. put them in trash can as you said, but when I reloaded folder logic no longer sees it and they are not pulling up in plugin manager? please help!!!!!
ever since i updated to mac os ventura logic wont let me drag samples into quick sampler from the track header anymore:((((( im so upset i used that feature all the time it was prolly my favorite feature made everything so much faster. now i have ot drag the samples into the playlist first and then from then i can drag the audio from the playlist into the track header and it gives me the option to add it straight ot quick samlper
Can someone more intelligent than me explain what the hell waveshells are anyways and why logic needs AU, some VST3 AND wave shell plug components? lol
hi bro nice videos, how are you? .... Listen, I have a question, I recently bought a new computer Mac and I download Logic Pro x, and I'm trying to download my projects that I had on my old computer, which it doesn't turn on anymore, do you think There is a way that I can download those projects from my old computer, in to my new computer ?
Are you holding down the option key? Im not even sure it's necessary, you can access the same library by just opening a finder window and going to 'Macintosh HD' -> ' Library' -> 'Audio -> Plug ins. I believe it's the same thing. But yea Mac OS is way more complex then i could have ever realized growing up, especially trying to finish a 5 year CD project in the midst of a harsh transition to M1 architecture, constant apple updates, multiple seeminglying identical folders, with differing contents. I almost think the producers/musician's during the 60's -90's had the most fun, unbounded creativity etc cus they weren't so reliant on all of these complex programs working simultaneously lol. even though they had primitive tools compared to what we got today. With all the potential of new tech and getting insanely beautiful sounds; comes an equally soul crushing and frustrating energy thats required to update and see everything organized and working. I spend about 30% of my studio time actually recording or being creative and around 70% purely diagnosing issues. Just kill any motivation you had to make music :/
