hi have you got a link for the charger ,the ones i see are different pins

My one is powered by a USB cable, so can be used really easily. The make is "vhbw" if that helps.

Thanks for getting back ,I managed to get a small bulb attached so to flatten battery and it does take a full charge now and lasted for two and a half hours

No worries - that's a good idea attaching the bulb to fully drain it, i'm glad it worked!

What a pigs ear they did with this camera! Never buying a camera from a GPS company again, what a joke ... fixed with a cheap Chinese charger.
