In the 1st method, you do not copy the “performance_schema” or “phpmyadmin” files (in the mysql Data Folder) to the new Data folder but in the 2nd method, you do copy them over. Is this correct ? The first part of the video, is only a temporary solution. It is much better, to follow the 2nd method. The failure is related, to a malfunction from some of the files of XAMPP, not the databases
