👉 Learn how to solve rational equations. A rational expression is an expression in the form of a fraction where the numerator and/or the denominator are/is an algebraic expression. There are many ways to solve rational expressions, one of the ways is by multiplying all the individual rational expressions by the lowest common multiply (LCM) of the denominators. This eliminates the denominators and then we can evaluate the resulting equation accordingly.
It is very helpful to check your results by substituting them into the original equation to see if they are true. This also helps to identify the extraneous solutions. An extraneous solution is a solution that is obtained during the course of solving an equation but which does not hold true for the original equation.

Parents would have a heart-attack watching Mr. McLogan bitting that dry erase marker after the COVID-19 world we find ourselves in, but my man's helped me figure out "Solving a Rational Equation with Factored Denominators and Stating Excluded Values" from 2.2 College Algebra on OpenStax in under 8 minutes. All hail Mr. McLogan! One of the best math teachers around! I would share a dry erase marker to solve a math problem with Mr. McLogan any day. 10/10

what happened to the *-5n* at the end when you factorised 2n(sq) *-5n* -3 = 0 into (2n+1)=0 (n-3)=0 slightly confused on this one, also on the top right corner I can not really make out what's written because an object has made it obscure. Many Thanks

(28n^2-28n)-(15n+15):12n^2-12=3n:(2n+2) (28n^2-43n-15):12(n^2-1)=3n:2(n+1)

12(n2-1) Dibagi 12(n^2-1)=1 Dibagi 2(n+1)=6(n-1)=6n-6 (28n^2-43n-15):12(n^2-1)=3n(6n-6):12(n^2-1) 28n^2-43n-15=18n^2-18n 10n^2-25n-15=0 10n^2+30n-5n-15=0 10n(n+3)-5(n+3)=0 (10n-5)(n+3) n=1/2 dan n=-3
