I saw a kid solve one in under a minute at my school once and was super impressed I had no idea how he did it. A few years later I finally solved one for the first time thanks to ruwix. Took me an hour because I kept messing up the final step but I was very happy. I don't have all the beginner algorithms memorized yet but my time is a lot better than an hour haha.
I had the same experience at school lunch once. I was solving the cube. My friend sees me solving it and hes like, oooh let me scramble it, I am really good at scrambling it. I give it to him and he starts like turning it super roughly and turns with his palms. He ends up barely scrambling it after a whole minute 😂
At the school I used to go to, they had toy rubik’s cubes as prizes (tiny ones that are hard to turn). I got one, and I kept it in my pocket and just played with it in my free time. There was this one kid that was impressed I could solve it, and he was like “naw your not gonna be able to solve this” when I let him scramble it (he’s nice, don’t get me wrong) and when I always solved it, he was like “WAT.” Im surprised he didn’t do corner twist, but I guess some non-cubers wouldn’t know that a corner twist makes it impossible XD
And for that exact reason, i have a budget cube (rs3m 2021) i bring along and my expensive cubes stay at home. Probably not the best to improve since i dont get as used to my main but at least i dont have to worry about my main breaking
I have some chinese brand tiny cube and its super fast compared to my old one , it was 1,50 dollar(15 morrocan dirham ) i started like a month ago now im learning cfop , i try to master f2l to go to the easier ones ( cop)
I remember i always let my friends scramble my gan 13 since they actually played nice, but i got the betrayal of the century after letting my cuber friend borrow it. Bro dropped it onto the pavement, used my rs3m only at school since.
So relatable. Once someone broke my 2×2 while twisting a corner. Imagine how hard he might have twisted to Break a 2×2 Lesson learned: never give non cubers your cubes

I brought a cube to school one day and I met this kid a year older than me that could also solve a cube and had more knowledge of f2l pll and oll cases than me but was about a minute slower than me
Back in 7th grade (when I was into cubing) someone asked to scramble it, and like usual I was hesitant, as I knew the whole palm turn routine, not to mention that it was *outside* and everyone had just eaten lunch. He ended up dropping it in the dirt, and needless to say I took apart and cleaned that Gan 11 *immediately*!
Normally when they say "cAn I tRy It" I say no they still try to grab it off my desk like "no it's okay I'm going to try it" or "I'm gonna make it impossible for you to solve" and are are just absolutely flabbergasted when I solve it
It's funny when they say That's easy and can't solve it then they make excuses like "nah you must have flipped a corner" like bitch you haven't even got close to being done with the first layer
I brought my cube to school which caused my classmates to also learn then bring their’s to school then they even started learning other cubes like the 4x4 and the megaminx and eventually got better then me 😢 One of them bought a GAN to flex on us then another had like 3 GAN cubes and I’m here with my MoYu rs3m
I hate it when people wait until I start solving it to ask to scramble it. Especially when they say “oh my cousin once solved the white side” and then act as if they are the coolest person ever
these are so accurate, people will see you solving a rubiks cube in public and immediately be so impressed. my number one rule: if they ask you to give them your solved cube saying they're going to show you a trick, do not give it to them because they will literally just scramble it. i brought my cube to school once and this happened to me twice, thankfully i was not very worried about the cube bc i dont own any expensive cubes just that one okay one lol
I don't like my classmate,even my best friends use my cube. There was this time when I finished a solve,a girl(the annoying,main character one)want ed to do a scramble,so I let her do it,then she managed to pop it(i made made the spring compressed so this wouldn't happen)
I had a competition, it was my first one. I still had a Rubik's brand, and I really wanted a gan. Not only did I break my record on the last try at the competition, but I also got under a minute for the FIRST TIME!!!!! I was so happy, and my dad bought me a gan i3 smart cube. It comes in 8 days, I'm so excited!
2:42 I remember when I started cubing, which was not to long ago. I had the rubiks brand and I wanted to upgrade my cube. Although I didn’t really want to bother my parents bc we don’t have much money. I got the cube now though.
I never solve my Pyraminx, 4x4 or my 3x3 at school because kids always ask me “CaN I HaVE t Hee CUBEE, I CAN solVE A TEN Buy TEN” My brain hurts when i think about it.
i started cubing with one of my best friends, he first got a rubik's brand and then a mfjs meilong 3x3, i got the same thing except mine wasn't a rubik's brand, it was fucking worse than a rubik's brand,it even came with the name "magic cube", but then that friend of mine recommended to do the beginners method, so i did, and now we both average about 1m and 20sec or 1m and 35sec we are both beginners, no cfop or roux. just beginners method.
Bro when you go to school with a cube and you know to solve it, everyone watches you and you became cool. And everyone challenges you wantes to scramble it . And I like how they dont know anything .
My school allows cubes and I bring mine everyday. Like all the people on my class WANT IT SO BADLY. THEY ALWAYS WANT IT. THEY SCRAMBLE IT FOR LIKE 9 MINUTES.
I use a rubik's brand as my main, but I have solved it so many times that its is pretty fast and can cornercut almost 45degres, I averenge around 20seconds, and my pb is 13,48
Once i lent my 2 by 2 to somebody ,they tried to twist the main corner and broke it off they thought i could fix it cuz took my 3 by 3 apart in class but i told him that the plastic is legit ripped off
When I first took my cube to school then only I found that there is also 2 of them are cubers in my class and one of them is my best friend we always used to cubing all day and also found another 2 of my friends could solve till last layer and I taught them to solve it fully and another 2 of my friends inspired by us and learnt for cubing and all of us cubing in the class whole day and some girls also inspired by us and started learning cubing
I just took a cube with me for fun in my school and everyone in my class knew i can solve it and one time my friend like whispered like -whats ur best time? And i think teacher heard that and she told me Do u have a cube with u I said yes she took it and started scrambling it and told me If u solve this in under a minute u get an A And bc my average is 33.50 sec i now have a A in psychics💀
Dude I swear I Brong a cube to school and I solved it during breakfast and the breakfast line was right next to me so everyone was watching me and then everyone was like yo how do you solve that so quick and I was like well just skills and practice I guess and all my friends are calling me famous cuz I just solved the cube
