Ikr this game is such a good game I’m surprised it’s not even that popular

Personal as someone who played the second one first that change combined with the character being significantly slower made the game much worse for me. If I didn’t play Lilith I would’ve quit playing out of boredom because so many quests involved running long distances and you are really slow

The first Supraland didn’t have a map at first, but enough people complained so the devs patched one in. Shame too, because part of the fun was using the telepads to get a temporary birds-eye view and kinda piece the world together in your head. Pretty sure the map was something you could toggle off though. It’s probably also optional in this game.

@@shanedancer3895 to be fair, I started with the 2nd one first as well. The 2nd game is pretty good, but I personally prefer the first, not just for the compass over the map, but the slightly more serious nature of the game

@@AceFuzzLord I can see how people could like the first one better, I just think if done well having a minimap can be just as good if not better. Honestly I’m not even sure what the difference is between the games because most times you need to find a quest item in a combat area they only give a general area on the map, and I’m pretty sure they don’t just give you absolutely nothing. Bl1 definitely gives you some indication of where things are or you might get completely lost and have to comb through an entire area hoping to find an object which I don’t remember happening

When I wasn’t being frustrated or confused, I really enjoyed the game. It should be on xbox gamepass if you wanna try. The unique setting and tongue-and-cheek comedy coupled with the pretty good puzzles are really what this series excels at.
