I dont get why we multipy or subtract on both sides pls explain

basically, when something is in the denominator, we bring it to the other side of the = sign it comes up to the numerator and gets multiplied with everything in the numerator. If a numbers sign is positive and it is in the numerator and we bring it to the other side of the = sign it becomes negative. If the number is negative and you move it on the other side of the = sign it becomes positive.

what grade (1-9) would you say these questions are?

Nate Well it’s difficult to really grade individual topics but I would say they range from grade 3-5. The introduction of fractions definitely swings them closer to the top end of grade 4 and into grade 5 though depending on how difficult they are.
