This is good and all but some of the higher questions aren’t quite as simple but this is nice for the concept and understanding of how to do this. If you are doing harder questions you can rearrange the equations so they both equal the same answer (either a or b) then you get rid of the equal answer say b then you can put the equations together and solve to find a (sorry if this is confusing it’s hard to explain)
You saved my time. Much better than the way my teacher taught us. She literally took so much time and instead of explaining it in detail, she will often ask random students for the process. Which is so annoying. But this though, perfect! Much better!
you say that + and - means you add however you are subtracting either x or y which i understand but why do you subtract instead of adding the values after the = sign in the equations
uhh.... still don't get it, any body can you tell me that in 4:25 he says that he has to add em but then he says that he is going to cancel it out. Isn't it supposed to be 4a. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!
@@littlechewisex3783 Let’s put it this way. If I have two positive numbers which are the same, for example 4 and 4, what do I do to one to get rid of another? It’s 4-4=0. Now if it’s 4 and -4, what do we do? 4+-4=4-4 because when you have a minus next to a plus you ignore the plus. 4-4=0. Did this help?
On 5:01' it was 2a-3b=20 2a-2b=10 , I got it right until =10, because I add them up like the previous equation. When you take away on part, you must take away ALL the equation?
