Solving the Akuma problem ( How to beat Akuma in SF6 ) 

If it isnt akuma its ryu i swear i am going insane

Sf6->Akuma fighter

I can admit his teleport isnt the best of the best, but its also one of the most unique abilities I have ever seen and like you say, you are conditioned to expect everything else, that you dont see it coming. So, really its the player using the skills, and not really the skills themselves.... but it its because of a skill, expect it to get nerfed severely.

He's better at being Ryu than Ryu.

Its frustrating that akuma’s gameplan is : my character is better than yours.

What?...Dude if he does Air-fireball spaced out then he easily punishable..its wen he's on top of u or close to u that the punish is hard to do for it cos his fireballs hotbox will crush ur DP...hard bcos one has to do an anti-air DP(if they have a good one that is)very very late so that his fireball is negated by ur Dp's start up invincible frames. If he does the air fireball out of ur range then u can jump in & hit him in the air in fact I wait for an Akuma to do the air fireball spaced out cos thats a punish for me.("Mikey D."made a vid on his channel even showing how late the DP should be...check if free).

The fact that Akuma doesn't automatically win every fireball interactions makes it feel good.

Block low at all time with Akuma. Unless he hit you, st.hk will never be a matter in neutrals anymore.

That part. The fanbase has been crying for Akuma since the dlc was announced/leaked and we finally got him and now we’re upset because he’s exactly what we asked for?

People say he's ok but I disagree. He's ok at the master level but below that I think he is curb stomping noobs. He has too much going good for him and not enough bad lol. SF6 already has a deep mental stack and then we add this MF 😂

lol what did you expect? Akuma is infamous for being a strong and busted character in every street fighter game he’s in.

@@thedarkwonder9954 even at master level, hos pokes and fireball game are among the best on the roster. Not to mention that demonic walk speed. How do you beat a master akuma that plays footsies, no air gimmicks? Oh yea, and any knockdown he gets, is either a safejump or a strike/throw/shimmy. Hard to think of 5 characters above akuma rn.

He is not. He is really good, but Ken is still so much better. Let's not talk about Deejay from last season...

@@thedarkwonder9954 It is probably the reason why people are so vocal. Yeah, at high level, he is nothing special. I still have not met someone who can literally teach me a lesson with him.

Giving him less health is a lazy way of "balancing" him. I assumed in SFV that they did it as they didn't know how to tone him down. In SF6 it feels as though they again didn't know how to REALLY balance him.

Sf4 was the best when it dropped all the new characters within the same patch/update

I love how the community gets so excited about a character, and then two days after they release him, bitch and complain how broken he is, and now we are stuck with a mob of people with a broken busted character that have to deal with this for 4-5 months until the next patch/character release. Honestly I don't know what capcom was thinking with this patch either, maybe somewhat nerf Luke, Ken, jp, bring some up a little, only to release a Seth like character that reverts any of the stuff they've nerfed with other characters. Lol, idk I'm not really impressed overall and I played Akuma for about 15 minutes. Playing busted characters isn't my cup of tea. I might comeback if the season 2 dlc is any good, or if Makoto will ever make an appearance again.

You are not that good if this is the case. He is not even top tier. Deejay last season WAS literally broken. You would have known if you had played against a 1800MR + player using Deejay.

You dont have to "be that good" to know that a character is really different and has a tool kit that nobody else has. He IS top tier. Name me 3 characters better than him at the moment and why. I'll try my hardest to understand since I'm not that good. And Deejay wasn't broken. He was just a bit overtuned. Well, they fixed that. You think they are going to do the same for Akuma? A character that literally brought back some SF6 naysayers? Not for another year maybe lol. Unless something is really BROKEN, but that is just Akuma.

I don't mind fighting the Akuma army. I win some I lose some, gives me more experience against that character and I in turn will be stronger against him.

What makes the others better? Especially Ken being a shoto which is a closer comparison to Akuma.
