Before the game came out, I had a theory that the Vanny that’s been chasing us was a robot controlled by the real Vanny. I came to this conclusion due to her distorted/staticky voice and in the Freddy and Friends shorts always ending with foxy getting his mask taken off revealing the Endo inside. But after its release. I lost any validation for my theory.
But in the fire ending, It looks like there were two Vannessa's, so maybe Vannessa was starting to break free of will's control so in her last moments of being Controlled, She made Robot replica Of Herself and Glitchtrap Connected to it and So we got Vanny And Vannessa. I'm probably wrong but Charlie was a Robot in The Fnaf books so idk
15:58 Fun fact: The Vanny lines you showed aren't cut. Since she is my favorite character, I stayed around her in the game for 30-45 minutes to see every minor detail and all the voice lines. When I first heard the voice lines I was shocked. I also stayed for the voice lines because they changed her voice and I like doing voice impressions of her. I do them really well for my age (11), and they sound very accurate. So I have a theory. What if, like I do her voice impressions, she does voices of a child to get kids to follow her; or she has a speaker in the suit (very unlikely). But all together, yours makes sense more. There are some parts of this I don’t particularly buy but some parts that actually make more sense than MatPat’s theories, so combining the two I feel like I actually understand the story now.
Actually you should explain Glamrock Bonnie. A lot of people are confused wether Monty attacked him on purpose or if he was possesed. And also a lot (including me) think he was used to build burntrap. So yea you should add him in part 2
I mean, they went through a lot of effort to say Bonnie's fingers had claws, and a clawed hand is the first part of burn trap we see, so that's pretty much confirmed. Monty is just a red herring.
This is honestly the most deep cut and interesting Vanny take I've heard. It's really interesting, and I love how there's still a lot of speculation about Vanny as a character.

@@MRSprings, its explained in the "Silver Eyes" book. Afton is a part of "Happiest Day". And that's also explains why Phantoms helping Springtrap in FNaF 3.
From what I've seen in the Fazbear Frights books, the Blob is probably just an amalgamation of Agony-infused objects. Remnant and Agony are the substances that cause objects to become haunted. The difference is, while Remnant is made out of souls, or soul soup, Agony is a very strong negative human emotion. Things imbued with Remnant have a soul, or many souls, controlling it. It has a conscience. Things imbued with Agony tho? No conscience, only the blind desire to kill, consume and grow in power. That's probably the same deal for the Blob. Even if all the souls of the kids were free thanks to the fire... As it turns out, only Remnant dissolves with extreme heat. So when all of the robots were burned in FNaF 6 and their souls were freed, their Agony remained. They probably combined into a massive, wild and mindless monstrosity, taking other memorabilia imbued with Agony to grow itself stronger.
Minus baby and puppet since they didn’t burn with any agony left since baby was all about validation and the puppet probably got calmed a lot with the music and her dads speech It’s also theorised that afton is pure agony from FNAF 3 fire onwards

I think something clicked in me about Vanny...what if she is a robot inside a costume, made by Vanessa for Glitchtrap to possess? And Vanessa made that costume to specifically hide the fact that it's a robot and not a human being at all?
I don't think she's a robot because she seems a bit too unworldly, unless she's a robot with multiple spirits idk i just don't see her being a robot, I think she's a remnant creature
It could make senese tho since her USED voice is very choppy and robotic and The Daycare Attendant can jump and other animatronics can run like she does. So the robot has an illusion disk to make humans'eyes act funny and to not be seen by animatronics.
I think you misunderstand the "why did you re-open everyone remembers what happened to those kids" thing. I think they were referring to the murders at other freddys locations before this. Granted those were over 50 years ago now. But it could be in response to the current disappearances, saying "why did you ever open this place, kids are going missing again, and you should've known by now it would happen. But lo and behold you did and it has."
I do not think that the suit is stitched up, but rather lased up like a shoe or a corset, because the stitches on the suit are pretty consistent in size everywhere besides this one instance
The criss-crosses on the back are too big\thick to be stitching threads. They are likely pullstrings - kind of like shoelaces, but for clothes - to keep the suit from falling off. Garters(?) and Corsets have them, or at least old ones did, according to various entertainment media. The tied part logically, would be near the top of the neck, since you can see in one of the endings that the mask can be removed separately. Though why they're using pullstrings for a *bodysuit* is unknown to us, since you'll need to pull the stringa out of multiple holes in order to make the top wide enough to get out of. The mask lacking pullstrings, a zipper, clips, or snap buttons makes us wonder how the mask comes off, though.
Interesting stuff! Greg and his friends being the new missing children's incident victims and the pizzaplex having been closed down because of it is something I hadn't considered before. I took the "Everyone remembers" email to be about the original pizzaria, but your idea works too.
Finally someone who's not just blindly jumped on the Gregbot bandwagon! I've honestly never been convinced of the Gregbot theory, some stuff just doesn't seem to work quite right and it just seemed more like just a semi-random idea of what could I guess be the case but was by no means whatsoever the most definitive definitely probable explanation; really after boiling everything down the only real convincing thing to me unless I'm forgetting something major would be the static distortion when Vanny is close, and to kinda base a whole theory on mainly that small effect just doesn't fully hook me.
The first trailer doesn't imply Gregory's friends, I think. It's more probable that Vanny was talking about the animatronics. You know, as they are the kids' friends.
I personally think the other voices are more of symbolism to her DID, when she sounds like an adult she is just Vanessa under the influence of William, but the little girl is just pure Vanny, a new headmate in her mind born out of the trauma of being mind melded
I feel like the blob is all the kids who went missing in sb and the parts are from fnaf 6 (I think henry probably brought everything he could find to the pizzeria)

I believe the Blob isn't Golden Freddy, because the Blob is just a mindless beast thirsty for blood because the Blob doesn't speak or make a lot of vocal sounds, the only vocal sound it makes is its snarl when it tangles Burntrap and the Blob is Golden Freddy then why is it a threat to Gregory, because according to Phone Guy in FNAF 2 "they interact with the kids just fine, but when they encounter an adult, they just...stare" which makes sense because basically most(if not all) possessed Animatronics feel threatened by adults knowing that William Afton is an adult and William Afton is a master of disguise, in the "missing children" incident, he killed 5 children one by one inside a Spring Bonnie suit and in the FNAF 2 location he killed more people disguised as a security guard evidenced by the badge. And parts of the Blob come from the Funtime Service from FNAF AR: SD. This could mean that FNAF AR might have something to do with this. Also, I believe Vanny and Vanessa are the same person, because Security Breach has an unused survival mode covered by TetraBitGaming who shows that in the debug mode there's a feature known as Vanny meter, if Vanny meter is full, you get to see Vanessa wandering elsewhere and clip through a wall and disappear and at a separate location, Vanny at appears. This implies that Vanny and Vanessa are the same person because both cannot exist at the same time. Meaning that if Vanessa is gone then Vanny appear or vice versa. And also I'm glad that you pay attention and don't assume unlike MatPat who claims that Gregory is a robot which has been debunked.
The cross-stitching on the back of the Vanny suit could be laces that tie under the mask. Like on a corset or pre-zipper dress. The pattern and how they go under the head [and abruptly change from "X"s to a parallel line] point to this. The other stitches are finer and straight, like upholstery staples. The other seams are irregular and random, while the back one is defined, centered and perfectly aligned with her spine. It is how she climbs into and out of it. Granted, corset laces usually require assistance to tighten, but doesn't require it.
Not contradicting your theory with Vanny, but more of an area that'd need explaining with the theory is why can't Freddy see Vanny until he has Roxy's eye? Is it another function of the illusion disks? I haven't had the chance to read the books yet, so idk if there's other stuff the illusion disk can do aside from, y'know, creating illusions.
The illusion disks can't do anything else, except that they make people feel slightly sick as a side effect, especially in large quantities. But yeah they can't make things invisible. However, there is another device in the books that does let somone hide from robots but not humans. An earpiece that was built to let an AI recognize a person, but, when its frequency was reversed, allowed you to hide from robots completely, even though the device wasn't even built for anything fazbear entertainment related except possibly very indirectly. Also, I don't see how Roxy's eyes would help a robot see through that, even with the special properties of the eyes. I think its more likely that she's a spiritual projection of some kind, like golden Freddy, and that's why only Gregory can see her, or something vaguely along those lines.
Also weird tidbit about the whole Gregory escaped the murders of the PizzaPlex,this might be true, there is a cut line from what it seems to be the start of Security Breach with Gregory "She will kill me if she finds me" well something similar
This is well explained, however, molten freddy never had souls inside of him, the fact the blob has funtime freddys head as the main head Shows us moltem freddys AI still controls the thing while many other AIs are inside of him. Look back at fnaf 6, molten freddy had funtime freddy, funtime foxy and balloras AI, but what mask did he use? A freddy mask, so its fair to assume the blob's main AI still is funtime freddy.
In ultimate custom night Cassidy says through the elephant "He tried you to release he tried to release us, but I'm not gonna let that happen, i will hold you here i will keep you here. No matter how many times they'll burn us." which correlates with the blob (Cassidy) saving afton from death because she wont let him die. Or Cassidy through happy frog saying : will never let you leave, i will never let you rest.
I wonder if Vanny is the remnant of Afton and Afton is the agony of Vanny? They are linked in more ways than just working together; plus we never see them together. Also when remnant is made, agony is made too. So if glitchtrap escaped, what if in that moment, William afton did it. He created his own Remnant that he was working towards all this time? But in turn his agony was left behind in his old body and for some reason Vanny is keeping her agony self alive? Maybe destroying the agony also harms the remnant and vice-versa? That would explain some things in fnaf 4 having alternative versions like Nightmare to fredbear, Nightmarionette to The Puppet? After all it's also about many things coming together to make one. What if remnant and agony are two of the same?

What would’ve been so fucking neat is that if William Afton wasn’t even physically in Security Breach and if Vanny was treated more as the actual main threat. If they keep Vanny going unhealthily cultish for William, like it already isn’t unhealthy, I feel it would be fine. If Vanny was so devoted to a dead man that she wanted to follow in his footsteps herself, to continue his ‘legacy’ long after he himself is gone (stuck in his personal hell). Shit, make her talk to “herself” at random points to ‘creep out the player’. Make her have some extreme intrusive thoughts, her mind growing to justify her actions over time as she went on to the point she didn’t feel shit about killing kids. Base her off me when I wasn’t medicated, I did some strange shit as a child. I will happily write for her character. Make her have her overthinking/intrusive thoughts win, make her THINK that the games/etc are encouraging her to do awful things, but no other person would think those games were telling them to slaughter innocent people. To everyone, the games/arcade machines aren’t even that sentient or even siri ‘sentient’. They’re just arcade games (keeping them with their lore relating to the overall game and series is a good choice I think). Make her haunted by the ghosts of her victims or some shit too, that would be interesting. Give her whatever pre-company-joining story you want, but I think she should at least look into the company’s history at some point pre-game. Make me write her. Make me help fix the story.
Also I think you missed a key element when you were discussing Vanny. The Voice lines were CUT. UNUSED. NOT CANON. clearly the voice clips weren't implemented because they didn't work with the story. And this is different from the SB princess sprites being called Cassidy and that name being changed, because the Cassidy name was in the game, but got removed. Likely to try and contain the secret more. Those Vanny voice lines were cut when the game released. They didn't make it to the final cut.
Vanny theroy :it is from a story from candy cadet where he said there was a kind man and there was 5 children he adopted them went to get food and came back and found them dead i think those 5 kids is Gregory’s friends and they where killed form vannesa and in the story that candy cadet said he cant buy 5 cofen so he stiched the 5 kids to make one i think vannesa took them and stuffed them in vanny thats why there is kids laughing in vannys unused lines.
Personally I believe that Cassidy is still in purgatory with William, either that or she moved on after old man consequences asked her to. I kind of prefer Matt Pat's agony theory tbh. But this is still good.
ok ok ok...you may hate me for this but Vanessa being taller could be due to the work boots she uses (she barely taller) and Vanessa could be stitched into the suit still just doesnt have the head, gloves, or feet on. That could be how shes able to switch into looking like either or quickly, if she does have the suit stitched on her under her uniform it does point to how unhinged she is at times (lol) and it makes sense the head would be where the illusion disk/voice changer stuff is. Now with all that said, I am just saying a lot of what you brought up could easily be explained. I actually really like your idea that vanny is someone/something else and maybe a collection of people. One of the therapists and some children would point to glitchtrap really being able to take over and he has a lot of williams distilled information on how remnant works etc... and could show the effect and mayhem she has on other people (having her "sickness" of glitchtrap sort of spread in a way. Idk just some thoughts. I could see it go either way but I really like your thoughts.
an explination for the "stitched back" the back is not stiched is it a corseted type backing and this intels why the suit is so fitted to vannessas body im a seamstress and actually am working on a vanny cosplay and how it works is ribbon of rope is strung through gromets in a shoe lace pattern and then pulled to make your silhouette defined the strings are then pulled into the suit that explains the stiches *for a better explination litterally just look at a corset picture online ittl make since then
My original theory when I was playing security breach for the first time playing it was that we were experiencing what it was like to be the kid that gets kidnapped and was waiting for that last minute plot twist that never happened. I thought this because I had to rewatch the opening like 7 times because of the glitches, and so I started to over analyze the opening about how Freddy was the only one with a chest cavity to hold a child, hiding from the security gaurd and the other animatronics that are actively going hey kid come out, the timing of how he hides you from Vanessa in the begins blah blah blah, it also happens THE NIGHT BEFORE the building is closed for an extended period of time and you aren't in the system. That and the moment you go to leave at 6 am Freddy guilt trips you into staying longer with no actual story build up about the missing kids and such.(which yes its fnaf that's to be expected but idr it actually getting brought up during your game play outside of the end of the game and all of a sudden greogery starts caring about things he barly showed any care for(again this could just be bugs and all) ... I might be the only person who thinks Vanny and Vanessa are twins because of the beat em up there are 2 vr sisters, so my galaxy brain was like oh we have an obvious "twist" with Vanessa and vanny being the same person this is the rug pull... this is sorta my thought process for the ending Vanessa sees herself in the vanny costume

It's literally balloras voice actor for the adult unused voicelines and that's only because the therapist paitent 46 murders has the same voice actor And the child voices are pretty obviously related to the kids that were killed at the Pizzaplex

And If they are patient 46, why are they supposedly helping Afton and why did they kill the other therapists? If they ARENT, then who the heck is patient 46? Also, If this is Vanny, then who was the person that put all the bodies or souls inside the suit, because someone still assassinated these kids and therapists and would've put then there. Would that mean there are like, 2 Vannys? And the one we see in the game is not actually the real one? Also, If Vanny is not Vanessa, but an amalgamation, what's the deal with the tapes, endings and easter eggs of fnaf Vr, and the emails of fnaf Ar? What do they mean, like, what happened to the person in the VR, If It isnt Vanessa, why is that "Ness" person acting so strange in the emails of Ar. What I mean is, I think the theory has some merit, and that Matpat might sometimes exagarate some stuff and bê kinda on crack, but his theory although really weird, at least is coherent with the clues we have until now, while this theory here, I wouldnt say It hás "holes" exactly, but a Lot of stuff needs tô bem adressed and explained, or Else It wouldnt really make Sense.

And, while he's clearly NOT Purple Guy/William as was theorized so long ago, he WAS murdered at a Freddy's Pizzeria. Already too long story short, I think Phone Guy's soul might be in an animatronic or part of the Blob. Maybe he's in that very talkative hippo. If William killed him, you know he used that soul for something.

@Junaki Begum Its all pretty irrelevant now that they rebooted the franchise. Everything prior to Help Wanted has been retconned as in-universe video games made by a man trying to expose Fazbears, and is thusly subject to unreliable narrator story mechanics. Any of it could be canon to the new story, or none of it could be. Any or all of the details could be wrong. And the games since then have done little to address the old characters' stories. I would have preferred dream theory to this whole, they were all just games in a game explanation.
I have a theory what if Glamrock Freddy is Cassidy because he doesn’t want to let Gregory die and let what happened to her happen to Gregory and when your at the afton bossfight he says I’m not me it’s because William afton always hacked him during it so he wasn’t always his normal self
My theory is that Vanny is an illusion made my Vanessa to mess with Gregory. I think it’s less of a remnant ghost but more so a robot wearing a sound illusion disc. (I honestly don’t know though because oh my god this game explains NOTHING! It explains less than usual Fnaf games!)
I have my own Vanny theory, it’s quite simple. The reason why that’s there’s glitch’s and distortions when Vanny is near, is the game telling you that she is near. If there’s no distortion effect, then how are the people who are deaf, don’t have speakers or cant play with sound supposed to know when she is there. It would also make sense because the closer you get to her the more distortion there is and the further you are the less there is. I’m not sure if that’s right or not, but to me it’s either an illusion disc or this.

Actually I think Vanny and Venessa are sisters because it would parallel to that game that came out before security breach, fury’s rage. One of the bosses are the VR sisters and that’s probably to parallel imo
