THE BIGGEST MYSTERY IN FNAF: SECURITY BREACH - Why do the Alpha Staff Bots Exist? - FNAF THEORY 

Hey guys! I'm aware a lot of people won't agree with this theory, and a lot of people will, and a lot of people will be neutral, and that's fine! My primary goal of this video was to start discussion around this topic and give my own thoughts on it. But I hope you all enjoyed and found my ramblings interesting! LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE

This Theory actually makes sense I didn't even realize the Bots look like him I hope they do more with this character because he's kind of underrated we need other characters to have some spotlight so it's not just William

I think you're definitely focusing on the right questions. Rather than literally the Grimm reaper, I think nightmarionne could be Eleanor. We know Eleanor doesn't have a soul from the epilogues (She's not Elizabeth), and we know eleanor shoots out black blood tentacles from her body. Eleanor is a creation of William's agony in the books. The agony of the mci brings her to life. "I am the fearful reflection of what you have created" We know from the epilogues that Eleanor was with William during The Man in Room 1280, so she could have been nightmarionne inside of his mind. This amalgamation of afton's agony could have influenced the mind of Vanny as you said. Nightmarionne could have even gotten Vanny to make the Blob, which IS nightmarionne (an amalgamation of the agony of William's actions) The Grimm reaper is a really cool idea as well. People have theorized Eleanor is literally a creature from Hell summoned by the rituals in Step Closer, so who knows. It's also worth noting that Eleanor has a key focus in the Pizzaplex books. She's the main antagonist of the very first story (which takes place during the era of the pizza plex) Side note, but your videos are really well put together. I love your content :)

The fact that Nightmarionne and Scrap Baby are the only characters to have plushies of themselves despite being characters that weren’t made or meant to entertain or appear in a restaurant as an attraction (and the only characters to have plushies that don’t exist) as well as both Nightmarionne and Baby being the only characters to have a S.T.A.F.F Bot variant seems strange

There's a big problem with this. If Nightmarrione is the Fnaf universe's Grim Reaper equivalent, why would Henry make a protective figure (The Security Puppet) meant to protect children, reminiscent of the personification of death itself? I feel like its far more likely that Nightmarrione exists through something like this: William Afton kills Charlie, she goes on to possess the Security Puppet. Some part of William's conscience regrets his actions, but the thrill of killing and excitement over the discovery of Remnant overpowers his guilt. His mind gradually twists the image of the Security Puppet into a horrific monster that vaguely haunts him, a constant reminder of his crimes. "I am the fearful reflection of what you have created." The other voice lines don't add much to this, but they don't contradict it in any way either. Cassidy pulls Nightmarrione's image from William's mind, to further torment him with an image of his own conscience's creation. By the time he becomes Glitchtrap, he may be thoroughly scarred by this image. Or perhaps it's just some vague presence in the back of his mind, which continues to haunt him. Maybe this gets carried over to Vanny during her brainwashing, causing an obsession that results in her decorating the trashed staff bots like Nightmarrione. *Edit:* a bonus detail I missed, the "In your dreams" message. Nightmarrione manifested in Afton's UCN coma. Or, in his dreams, you might say. Nightmarrione is a reflection of Afton's guilt. His own distant, suppressed fear of what he has become. His conscience failing to get to him, so instead he torments himself. This seems to work so well imo, I honestly think that this might have been planned or at least considered at some point during development. I think Ive definitely struck onto something of note here, at least.

This isn’t actually too outlandish The ruin DLC almost certainly includes the afton amalgamation and in the book the puppets mask is used to kill him The puppet obviously isn’t doing anything since it’s mask is in the blob But nightmareon is available Plus on the ruin poster of you look bottom right you see what appears to be cables or more accurately tentacles painted with white strips Thin but long very remenicebr

Wait, I just had an idea that builds on to yours. What if Nightmarionne, our FNAF grim reaper, is the agony of the Charlotte after the soul has departed. We see in the Blob that Charlotte’s soul is implied to have left the Puppet. However, we know that while remnant burns, agony doesn’t. The Puppet gave life, and Nightmarionne takes it away. “I am the dark reflection of what you have made” is talking about how he’s filled with the agony of Charlotte’s death. Charlotte is still trying get rid of William, but no longer with her mind intact, since it went with the remnant. Instead the agony of her death has created Nightmarionne, a twisted reflection of the Puppet who only wants to takes life instead of giving life!

This theory actually makes a lot of sense, it gives more story to a cool, but underused character, it also gives Burntrap & Vanny more story even though those 2 appeared in the game for 7 seconds in total.

It does make sense for Nightmarrione to be the Grim Reaper and look like the puppet, since Charlotte was William's first victim and therefore the one that he probably regrets killing the most, as that was what started his killing spree and ultimately got him into a Hellish purgatory. It makes sense that he would be the most direct in trying to finally kill William in UCN, seeing as how many times he has evaded death. It also seems to me that Death's appearance changes depending on the fears of those who have to die, which is why Nightmarrione is not canon to FNaF 4, but is canon to UCN and is the icon image for a game about William's personal Hell. I also like the idea that Nightmarrione is trying to get into Vanesa's head to try to stop her from helping William, as well as his plushie being necessary to getting an ending in which Vanny is rendered incapable of helping William, because she's dead.

I think a poetic detail to this theory is that William’s first victim (Charlie) ended up becoming the marionette and now he is being hunted down by something with a similar appearance to what she became, in a way making it end full circle

Honestly I can totally see how Nightmarrione can be a Grim Reaper as when you think about it The Puppet was all about helping the souls in the pizzeria (Not sure exactly it’s just what I heard) so the nightmare version being a reaper since they always talk about death would make so much sense. I really love the idea that the grim reaper himself is fed up with william and tries to drag william from the world of living himself now since he broke the rules of death or something. Maybe the grim reaper took the form of his first victim to taunt and scare him?

I do think nightmarionne is meant to be a demon that was born from Charlie's (or how henrys daugther is called) Agony...It actually could make sense not gonna lie due to the reflection line... I also think he controls the blob

One unrelated question how is it that endoskeletons are strong enough to crush human skulls but are so fragile that puny robots rip them apart without them having any ability to fight back like freedy couldn't do jack sit to the staff bots that ripped him apart in one of the endings like c'mon how is he not capable of at least taking one of them with himself if he doesn't just destroy them all

FINALLY, SOMEONE HAS NOTICED THIS! IVE ALWAYS NOTICED AND WONDERED ABOUT HOW THEY LOOK LIKE NIGHTMARIONNE! I NEVER THOUGHT ANYBODY WOULF CONNECT THE LINES FOR ME!

If this was my headcanon FNaF Lore, this theory wouldn't work. But I do have an idea to help tie up loose ends. Nightmare could quite possibly just be an illusion created by Nightmaronne to give The Crying Child his sentence. This would explain alot, like the fact that Nightmaronne never appears canonically in FNaF 4, the fact that Nightmare is transparent but Nightmaronne isn't, and the fact that both Nightmare and Nightmaronne use the same jumpscare sound that's unique to those two characters specifically. Also, Nightmare hasn't really appeared in any other mainline games after FNaF 4.

Imo death can come in many forms. This is why death appears like a skeletal figure to many as they are scared of the concept of dying. William isn't scared of death however, as he's technically been killed 4 times now so to make him afraid, death appears as a dark twisted version of the puppet, which is the root of all William's problems. This would also explain Nightmare in FNaF 4 as a child wouldn't fully understand the concept of death so it appears to the Crying Child as an inverted version of Nightmare Fredbear. Also remember that (while non-canon) Nightmarrione replaces Nightmare in the Halloween update so there's some correlation there too. And that's also ignoring my personal theory that Old Man Consequences could *also* be death, trying to convince Cassidy to move on so he can drag William to hell.

I was on pretty much the same wavelength as you...until a couple months ago. Read a theory that's *similar* to the whole "Nightmarionne = FNAF grim reaper" concept, but ties more in with the books and past games Nightmarionne is the main form of "The Shadow" - a demon born from the agony of William's crimes that haunts peoples nightmares & can also appear as Shadow Freddy or Shadow Bonnie • "The Shadow fears me!" - random ass line from Nightmare in UCN • People in Fazbear Frights suffering nightmares from agony related beings (Eleanor, Shadow Bonnie etc) • Nightmare (a nightmare version of Shadow Freddy according to the game files) is literally the final boss in FNAF 4 • "I am the fearful reflection of what *you* have created" and "I am your wickedness made flesh" = Nightmarionne telling William "I am literally a product of your sins" The Shadow is also responsible for Michael Afton's nightmares in FNAF 4...yes he's the one having the nightmares, not crying child (I can explain that if you want) According to the survival logbook, something followed Jeremy Fitzergald home after his FNAF 2 shift. This coincides with the tagline of FNAF 4 - "what have you brought home?" & "this time the terror has followed you home". Now...the only character we see haunting the FNAF 2 restaurant (where Jeremy worked) that can also travel *beyond* it (and has no reason to stay, like the Puppet) is Shadow Bonnie. And what do ya know, the FNAF 3 minigames confirm *Shadow Freddy* is haunting the *FNAF 1* restaurant...where Michael worked. The Shadow followed him home, and caused the FNAF 4 nightmares to feed on *his* agony (the agony of Mike's guilt for what happened to his brother)

When I heard nightmarionne's qoute for the first time in ucn, my immediate thought is "is William scared of the puppet/dark version of the puppet? ".But your theory does makes sense

So Im happy that someone is finally acknowledging how weird it is that nightmarrione has any connections to Vanny. Ironically it used to make a bit of sense back when princess cassidy was a thing. If you interpret the final minigame of princess quest as sealing away princess cassidy, and believe that it was Cassidy possessing Vanessa not glitchtrap then a lot of other details make sense. Like you pointed out nightmarrione is the literal face of UCN, (Also if you haven’t already I highly recommend watching astral spiff’s out of bounds videos where he explores vanny’s lair lit up and you can see nightmarrione’s tendrils snaking through everything) so now we have an explanation for why peepaw looks like he is in a microwave with controls for the microwave on the outside designed to flame broil the peepaw anytime he tries using any hacking magic. Vanny wasn’t working with peepaw. She was possessed by Cassidy and made to torture the peepaw

This could also be viewed symbolically as Puppet creating remnant, and Nightmarion (potentially)dispelling agony. The Puppet “giving gifts” to the 5 children, I think unintentionally, meant that she put them in the suits. Them possessing the suits then made remnant. (this is my personal take on agony & remnant)Nearly every character’s remnant is made up of metal + souls + agony caused by Afton. To set the souls free, the remnant is burned, then their souls can move on, tho their agony still remains. I think that because Afton’s own agony is (arguably?)self inflicted, that it’s somehow uniquely tied to his soul, versus the children whose agony were independent of their persons. This can explain why he acts more intelligently than some of the other animatronics. His mind agrees with the agony. The sinkhole ending in SB suggests that he will combine with the blob, which is obviously a gigantic host of agony. This will make him extremely powerful. As you said, Afton will forever stay immortal until we figure out how to get rid of agony. I personally hope we can get him out soon regardless of what reason they give for it lol. Overall I think your theory is great, definitely one of my favorites in a long time!

I may have already explained this, but one reason I think Afton won't die was because of the remnant he collected from his victims, probably to revive his children who died by animatronics and/or to make himself immortal(which could explain how he cheated death and became Springtrap), because in Sister Location, all Funtime Animatronics got trashed by the scooper, according to the floorplan of the scooping room in the Insanity Ending of FFPS, it can inject anything with remnant which is how the Funtime Animatronics (Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy, Ballora and Circus Baby) became fused as one amalgamation known as Ennard. And in the real ending of FNAF Sister Location, Michael Afton became scooped implying that he's dead, but he became possessed by Ennard and act like things are normal. And then his flesh started to rot from peach like skin to a darkish green to a purple hue. And then it was time for Michael to puke Ennard out. And then Michael lost a lot of his strength and collapsed, before Ennard said farewell to Michael, Circus Baby who became one with Ennard said "you won't die." And then Michael recovered his strength and stood up. I'm guessing William Afton will live forever till he ran out of remnant. Also it would make less sense that Nightmarionette would make an indirect appearance in Security Breach, because according to Scott Cawthon all Nightmare Animatronics exclusive to the Halloween update are non-canon (except Nightmare Balloon Boy). And I think the "in your dreams" text on the bots, may be a reference that Nightmare Animatronics are not dreams but they want to be remembered as dreams by the Crying Child. And I think Nightmarionette is added in FNAF VR: Help Wanted, just because they can. Because the purpose of Freddy Fazbear's Virtual Experience is meant to take place in the events of urban legends that caused controversy to Fazbear Entertainment, because according to Handunit it's meant to poke fun at those events that took place and consider them as more like hoaxes. Some characters were added just because they can as well, like Dark Freddy, Neon Bonnie, Neon Chica and Burnt Foxy as well.

YES! I actually think the Grimm Reaper theory is not that farfetched. We've had at least one other character that is a bit "special" in their appearance in the game and role: Old Man Consequences, theorized to be a higher entity of sorts. Hell and purgatory are sorta canon. And just like Nightmare in fnaf 4 that manifested as Fredbear, Nightmarionne is now this "nightmare" character even taking their name. And Nightmare in fnaf 4 was theorized to be Death as well. His appearance is not even that of an animatronic, it has basically ascended into a demon-like entity. He's a lot more supernatural than the others.

I had a similar question but more about Music Man. He’s appearing more and more and I find it weird that he’s now up there with some pretty major animatronics appearance wise. He’s been in the same number of games as Mangle, Baby, and even the Puppet (if you don’t count 3 as an official appearance) it’s odd that he’s such a recurring character

You know for a non cannon character, Nightmarion shows up/ or is referenced a lot. At this point they might as well just say they are cannon. Them still saying they are non cannon is only making things more confusing now.

This doesn't really add anything to any of the theories discussed in the video, but before you enter the room where you find the box that has a Nightmarionne plush in it, the door (or wall that moves I suppose) that locks that area has a picture of a girl lying on a hospital, both the girl and the bed look familiar but have no connections that we know of. I don't know if this has anything to do with Nightmarionne or the evil staff bots, you can make your own theories about it (if it's even important). You got me thinking after watching this video, I never knew those staff bots were called "Nightmarionne bots", I never accepted the fact that they resembled Nightmarionne, I just thought they just happened to look like him 'cause FNaF is scary yadda yadda. Now the part where Gregory takes the creepy plush and then the endoskeleton in that room suddenly activates has always confused me, alot. Like why just as soon as we take the plush the robot comes to kill us out of nowhere? It doesn't make any sense at all. This made realize that the Puppet is the only spirit so far in the franchise that wants to actually kill Afton himself, we've seen him doing that in the Fazbear Frights series, the other spirits have vague motives with one that wants to keep him alive. Now I actually have a great theory about for the first time in a while, I won't write it now tho, unless I know someone is reading this for sure. I really feel good about this one. Just say something like "shoot" or anything that suggests someone wants to read what my personal theory is.

I have a theory. The Nightmarionne plushies are actually called Nightmare Plushies, implying a connection between Nightmare and Nightmarionne. Nightmare is Shadow Freddy, as shown in the game files. This implies a connection between Shadow Freddy and Nightmarionne. Spoilers for Tales From The Pizzaplex: In TFTPP, which many people think is canon to the games, we see the aftermath of one of Eleanors Victims. In To Be Beautiful, we see a girl named Sarah who finds Eleanor and brings her to her house. When Eleanor turns on, she wants to give Sarah a wish, which is to be beautiful. Eleanor then dismembers Sarah every night and hides it using a remnant pendant. Eventually, the pendant falls off and Sarah turns to scrap. Eleanor takes Sarahs appearance and runs off. In TFTPP, we see a girl named Jessica who is made of scrap and uses a remnant pendant to heal patients, until the pendant runs out and Sarah falls apart. Jessica was an Eleanor victim. In Fazbear Frights, Eleanor was a being called the Shadow who is inside Eleanors body. The Shadow takes many forms, including Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie. Many believe that the Shadow was born from the mci. If Eleanor works the same in the games, then this means that Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie are the same entity, the Shadow. In TMIR1280, while yes Andrew is TOYSHK and is torturing William, Eleanor is also attached to William and feeding off his agony (Eleanor feeds on peoples agony). If we take this as a parallel, this could suggest that not only was TOYSHK attached to William causing UCN, but this suggests that the Shadow was also attached to him feeding off his agony. If so, then the Shadow could appear as either Nightmare or more likely, Nightmarionne. The connection to the staff bots is they could be somehow infected by the Shadow and the Shadow could be working with Vanny. In Fazbear Frights, Eleanor helps power the Afton Amalgamation and temporarily works with him before the Puppet destroys it. If the AR animatronics are in the blob like many believe, and Afton is infecting the AR animatronics, then it stands to reason that Afton could take control of the blob. We also see in Princess Quest that Glitchtrap looks a lot like the Blob, with lumps and eyes in places where the animatronics are in the blob. This could suggest that Afton takes over the blob and could become the games equivalent of the Afton Amalgamation. If so, Fazbear Frights could foreshadow what happens. The Shadow, who was previously inside the Nightmare Staffbots, went into the Afton Amalgamation in like in Fazbear Frights and when Afton gets defeated, The Shadow, Eleanor will be revealed to be the next villain of the series. It's just a theory I had. A youtuber named ImpulseEvan37 has a couple of theories on the Staffbots which you might want to check out if you want. Also, what music are you using at 11:00 in the video? I've heard it before but I've never known what it was

If this theory is true, then comes out that Nightmarionne isn't based on Puppet, but Puppet is based on Nightmarionne? It isn't so strange actually, it's like with Santa Claus...

Dude, Nightmarionne is lowkey giving me fnaf 1 Golden Freddy vibes. Because Scott had no reason to put him in any game after his non canon appearance in fnaf 4 but he did it anyway. I like the theory that nightmarionne could be the grim reaper, but he could also be the living embodiment of agony. You know in fnaf ar they ended up making shadow bonnie the embodiment of remnant. Well it would make sense that nightmarionne is agony because when your dying, your obviously in pain, your agonizing as someone would. And I know this is gonna sound crazy, but what if nightmarionne created the blob? Like nightmarionne could literally be the most important character ever in fnaf and we just don’t know it. I think we need MatPat on this case.

Nightmarionne being in front of the player's screen like an overlay (unlike cassidy's animatronics) is also supported by the fact that old man consequences (also not controlled by cassidy) works in a very similar way, being more of an overlay than a physical being.

Im not quite sure about your theory suggestions about Nightmariones importance but I definitely agree that he feels like a very crucial yet overlooked piece of the story. His prominence as the face of UCN in particular stands out to me as well as how much Nightmarione symbolism there is in Security Breach. I hope we get more clues to why he’s so seemingly important down to road.

A literal demon from hell crawling out from a videogame to get the ever-coming-back peepo William into the retirement house in the deepest chasm of Inferno.

Just gotta say I love how nightmarionne takes the appearance of Afton's (assumedly) first victim.

Even then, Nightmarionne didn’t just stop at that one random room as a Golden Box jpeg, its plushies are even hidden throughout the game. (Examples include riding the Golf Ball ride at the entrance to Gator Golf, hiding behind boxes in the head repair room, and even hiding on top of a giant Toy Freddy plush strapped on top of the ceiling nearby the Photo Pass room)

To be fair, I think the staff bots might be going crazy down there. That binary reads "Why is I" almost like they don't understand who they are without their purpose anymore. Maybe Nightmarrione was a scrapped boss, hence why there's a plushie and the staff bots are the minions. It would be cool if Nightmarrione was just something Vanessa was compelled to build through her bad dreams and it went rouge on her, wandering the sewers with bots she can't control.

I think that it has something to do with Agony why they look like that. The Marionette having tears only when possessed in combination with the bots and stuff makes me think that somebody dying painfully near a robot would somehow influence that kind of puppet-like face manifesting during possession. I think that Nightmarionne was a character created by the rogue indie dev for FNaF 4’s Halloween update which was later adapted by Cassidy to be a tormentor for William and by Silver Parasol to be an antagonist for Help Wanted. The plushie was likely planned to be merch for the VR game but it never released to the public so now the tester plush is one of a kind, hence its rarity. Then Vanny was killing anybody who came close to discovering her master’s plans and threw their bodies into the sewer, where their spirit and agony possessed broken STAFF bots, giving them the Nightmarionne-like face. I think that’s where the missing people are going, and some of those soul and anger powered bots are being controlled by Vanny to do her whims, because of course Glitchtrap’s influence would be stronger than the people’s own free will as we’ve established is the case with Vanny/Vanessa.

The big theory makes a lot of sense,but what if Nightmarionne tried to get control of vanny to make her stop and vanny painted his face on the staff bots to show herself that she’s the one in control and not him

This does also fit with nightmarionne’s first ever appearance in the fnaf 4 halloween update seeing as with it being spooky month often having decorations like the grim reaper

My theory is that William remembers Nightmarionne in UCN as a skin of Nightmare and since Nightmare is another form of Death, William used Vanny to paint the alpha Staff bots to look like Nightmarionne since William remembers that he created Nightmarionne to scare the crying child/Gregory Or the Staff bots just look similar to Nightmarionne and Vanny just painted them to look like them and William changed their names in the files

I called one of them Mr. Z & thought he was gonna have a bigger role with Vanny & Glitchtrap(& with Patient 46 as his boss) in the game while the rest were his minions.

if you think about it, every antagonist in fnaf have a semi-cannon nightmare version (except willian afton) like the puppet and the fredbear

Maybe Vanny is doing a ritual for Nightmarionne to make him leave or else all that she has done for William will be for nothing

I think it would be an interesting turn if vanny painted them like that to control Afton in some way. It’s the face he was tormented with so it would make sense.

Finally a fnaf theory this makes sense, this could also explain why nightmarionne has such long tentacles, he’s a grim reaper like thing and he’s constantly trying to get you with the tentacles

I have one extra detail to add to this: According to Nightmare Freddy... Each of the Nightmares aren't Cassidy's recreations. Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Fredbear, and Nightmare ARE the very ones from FNAF 4, and not under Cassidy's control. Thus, this can be added to the UCN section on the main theory. Nightmarionne, according to Nightmare Freddy, WASN'T made by Cassidy or under her control... The theory seems so out there, yet ironically makes sense

If this theory is true, could it be possible that Nightmarionne/the-literal-embodiment-of-death is made of the agony of William’s first victim-Charlotte/the Puppet? Since the soul herself has long gone.

I mean, they should be capable enough to paint each other though. I don’t think Vanny painted all of them, but she definitely programmed them to paint each other like that, it’d also explain why they are all exactly the same. Or maybe it was William himself was who programmed them to do that. We know he was drawing a substantial enough power to be noticeable by the workers, maybe that was him remotely re-flashing the bots.

If everything from UCN is canon, wouldn't that mean the FNAF 4 Halloween update is canon, meaning that the Nightmarion's first appearance is FNAF 4

A nightmare of william afton itself something resembling the reaper yet also one his first victim's host.. aka the puppet. Who gave life while this wants to take it away.

I think this might also be the stitchwraith? The face of Simon is similar to nightmarrien, and the dream thing also works since Jake's goes into people's dreams to make then stronger, to cure the afton virus Either way this theory is really great and I like it a lot

Nightmarionne might be williams adaptation of the grimmreaper taking the appearence of one of his first victims

Pretty interesting theory for nightmarionne to be the grim reaper or some sort that's come to hunt william, but the thing is those staffbots are helping vanny so we can Basically limit that off the possibility I think a smaller and more neat explanation of it is that when glitchtrap was infecting the robots, a certain code which was more malicious caused the nightmare staffbots. And about that room, along with the afton room i think those were made by the corrupted staffbots who were discarded. I'd even go far and say that vanny DID NOT have any connection to the basement and those facepaints and texts were drawn by the nightmare staffbots themselves. But why nightmarionne? Since glitchtrap came within Help Wanted, its not far fetched that the game's code was also somehow transferred. And nightmarrione's hentai code somehow was transferred and became dormant until it got broadcasted to the discarded staff bots.

The only other appearance of Nightmarionette in the games is fnaf 4, so it would definitively make sense for him to be this sort of grim reaper soul taking entity. Ok so what if the nights are not just C.C in a coma but him fighting for his live, if you die in the dream you die for real kinda thing. So Nightmarionette had to personally interfer to make sure he dies.

I think something to also mention is how Nightmarrione is the complete polar opposite of The Puppet. While the Puppet gives life, Nightmarrione is the one who takes it away.

I love the idea of Nightmarionne being Death itself. It looks perfect for the role and the way it acts also compliments this nicely. I also love the contrast between Nightmarionne and the Puppet beacuse one takes lifes and the other gives life. Also i love the idea of it becoming the main force that finally puts an end to Afton. I love Afton as well but it’d be the perfect ending for his character. So i hope they do something like this either in the Ruin DLC or in another game perhaps. Hell even the movie would work for that.

For Afton's current form, as Glitchtrap, he's now a computer virus, as I've stated in my Reddit theory (on Reddit I'm Seriously Unserious) and as Glitchtrap he's a sentient computer virus who actually can't do anything a computer virus can't do IRL. So I'd expect if nightmarion is supposed to be a grim reaper type character, and he's manifesting in a form capable of destroying Aftn's current virus form, then it would make the most sense for him to actually manifest not as a physical world executioner, but as an antivirus - hiding in some hardware Glitchtrap's using to control Vanny - like the 6 "haunted"/special arcade cabinets. In SB we currently just use 3 of them (the PQ games) but there's lore on Monty Golf's arcade cabinet, Chica's Feeding Frenzy and Balloon Boy World, which seem to have been originally intended to be part of the save Vanny ending. I propose those cabinets, strategically placed throughout the Pizzaplex in places Vanessa would see them regularly, were being used to trigger Vanny whenever Glitchtrap needs Vanny for something. For this to work best, they'd have to have been originally all placed in public areas Vanessa would be patrolling regularly as Security Manager. Places like the East Arcade, West Arcade (Fazcade), Bonnie Bowl Arcade, and Daycare Arcade. Then we get the notes about the arcade repair tech nearly solving the lot and Bonnie doing a night wander, with the 2 locations we have on the log titled "Missing" being in my list of probably original locations, they had to be moved to hidden locations as those events exposed a critical weakness in the system. They'd be less likely to trigger Vanny in the new locations, but also less likely to trigger the destruction of Glitchtrap. I can link to my theory on Reddit that outlines Glitchtrap's nature as a virus based on my opservations and professional knowledge on computers and viruses if the MR Springs is open to it and can ensure RU-vid won't just nuke it as "spam".

Honestly, I still believe that Security Breach’s Nightmarionne is Charlie, because of what Charlie’s mental state would be at this point in the timeline. In Fnaf 2, she is suffering from the “Adults = William” thing (something that appears to be common when kids first possess animatronics) and attacks Jeremy when the music box winds down. After that, we see her roaming the halls of Fazbear’s Fright in Fnaf 3. Her soul still attached to the puppet mask that Phone Dude collected for decoration. She tries to save the souls of the kids, but it doesn’t completely work due to the Funtime animatronics containing a part of them. Fnaf 6, she’s kind of hit rock bottom, the MCI aren’t properly freed, William is still out there and she has to hide in the shadows so people don’t freak out upon seeing a living puppet. Then boom, Lefty lures Charlie with the signal code / music box combo and captures Charlie. This is the point where she starts to go crazy. Due to being a ghost, she is able to manipulate Lefty’s actions, she follows Lefty’s programming to the Fnaf 6 pizzeria and tries to kill Micheal on multiple occasions out of pure rage and instability. Then Henry sets the place on fire. We know this is supposed to be a good thing, but does Charlie know that? From her perspective, her dad just lit her on fire. How would Charlie know that the fire was supposed to be a good thing? By the time of Security Breach, it makes sense that Charlie would have transformed into a dark reflection of herself. She probably took inspiration from Nightmarionne because it was made to “poke fun” and “make light of” the Fazbear tragedies, AKA, her very own death, which fuelled her anger even more, so out of spite, she took the form of the corrupted version of herself.

They could do a game where you're one of multiple people hunting afton and one ending has Nightmarionne finally killing him.

another thing that can constitute to the theory of Nightmare Marionette being the grim reaper is that the nightmare animatronics are the opposite or ‘more evil version’ of already existing characters. And as we know the puppet is the giver of life, so being nightmare marionette is the ,well, nightmare version of puppet. Therefore, logically it would make sense for Nightmare marionette to be the taker of life.

Honestly I think Vanny is Williams wife. Now that's part of why Nightmarrione is in SB. She remembers CC telling her his nightmares and wanted to use his simple features that were described, saw his look in HW and made her own version of scrapped machines. Now the biggest detail I have to support my Vanny is Mrs. Afton is she most likely posseses Ballora, who dances. Vanny is the only other (FEMALE) to actually be seen to dance. Second is we never saw her look, but we have seen William, Elizabeth, CC, and Michael in some form. Never once Mrs. Afton. It also makes sense because she is a follower, reluctant follower. Unless William as glitchtrap can convince someone to let him out and help kill more people that easy, I don't see that with just a stranger. But most likely someone who knew him and could have helped get him out of trouble before. Aka, his wife.

I think fnaf 4 is actually fnaf 1 is having a illusion disk like it's the same layout I think it's because it's a illusion disk nightmare puppet is just the the puppet and in fnaf 4 we play as Michael Afton and he probably described the nightmare animatronic and maybe for some reason nightmare puppet is stuck in his mind same with the rest and that's why he is ucn Afton remembers him and like nightmare puppet is trying to follow Afton and in fnaf VR somehow nightmare puppet intered inside glitchtrap and the rest of the nightmare animatronics and when glitchtrap takes over Vanessa and nightmare puppet is in the mind of glitchtrap and that's why Vanessa mad nightmare puppet staff bots

He wasn’t a nightmare scene but who ever the pov in fnaf 4 is. But fnaf 4 was retconned to also be a video game made by “a rouge indie dev”. So he probably saw something.
